This company is a big scam. How can Staples/Quill have 'Universal Online Promotions' represent them? I went to interview there, did my research, but decided to go back for a second interview out of curiosity as well as desperation. The people working there walked the streets doing door-to-door as supposedly Quill/Staples employees selling their goods with their catalog all day. For the second interview I had to be at the Universal Online office at nine, when I arrived the employees were already there. I then proceeded to go out with someone who had already moved up the ranks (he seemed to just be doing door-to-door sales, still, though) and another guy who was his apprentice. We got back to the Universal Online office around 1900. These people were overworked, had no benefits whatsoever and did not even get a base salary. Such a waste of my time! Needless to say, when they offered me a 'position' I declined with an angry e-mail.

This is for anyone who is in the job searching market and filing their calanders up with interviews should always and i mean always do your reasearch before any company wastes your time. I had a interview with this company and like any company you interview for did my reasearch. I google universal online and the one thing that consistantly came up were sites and postings of how this company is a ripoff and a fraudulant business. I thought it was strange when they tried to set up interview with me how unfriendly and disgruntled they sounded over the phone. It was even more weird that they have no actuall website for the company. To everyone who reads this, go and check out ripoffreport dot com and read former employees of the company and how this company is nothing but a fraud.

To whom it may concern:

I was supposedly selected for a preliminary interview with this about a week ago and discovered that this company is a total Hoax or a Rip off. I was doing research about the company after the preliminary interview because something was very strange, and I just couldn't find any records of this company, what they do, what companies do they work for and details like that and the only thing that I found were "Reports" of how this Pseudo-company is just a fraud. When I went to they website I got a little concerned because I noticed that they have different names in different cities which is very suspicious, not to mention that they have no portfolio or list of clients who anyone can contact to verify their background, and they basically trecruit anyone without caring about their experience, which is the wierdest thing since they say that they are a succesful company, If you are making business with serious companies with big reputation I consider a marketing firm has to be very demanding on who they hire to handle costumers. You will find info at ripoffreport dot com
Be Careful with this dishonest people.
