This place is horrible.
I bought a brand new car from there in 2004. My first car. I didnt know any better.
I just got in the market, 8 years later and decided I didnt want to drive anything else but a toyota.
I JUST bought a used 2010 Corolla about a month ago. My salesman swore that the car was perfect, nothing wrong with it.. no issues with the car. I bought it on a Saturday so I couldn't get the "prep work" done because it was too late, so I was supposed to return to the shop. They had NO PROBLEM charging me (I wont even get into how much the prep charges were).. and still, a week over a month later, no prep work done. ONLY TO FIND OUT YESTERDAY from my mechanic... The right rim is bent, I need new calipers, new breaks, new rotors, front brakes.
I told my salesman on MONDAY after buying the car.. the brakes are squeaking (which was a huge problem in my last car) do I really need to trade in my last car, which they gave me virtually NO MONEY for.. just to get into a car with "no problems" and have MORE PROBLEMS WITH THIS CAR THAT I JUST DROPPED 15K ON... really Toyota? Sounds like a lemon issue to me.. and you better believe I am going after them.. Oh, that is if i can somehow manage to get my sales guy on the phone. This place is full of bullsh*t. everyone there is fake, and they would do just about anything to get your money. Well you know what... I will do just about anything to get my 15k worth out of my car and if I have to take them to court to get into a car that is actually functional.. after taking 15k in cash from me... then so be it. They just f*cked with the wrong person. There is going to be a war at Bay Ridge Toyota. Hope they are ready to either put me in a new car.. or face a lawsuit for this Lemon they sold me. Good luck a$$holes!!!

Scam - Stay Away from Service! Service is a RIPOFF!!!! Stay away. Service basically refused all the things I wanted done and did their own thing and then the Service Rep comes to the cashier with you to make sure and bully you to you fill out the survey to make sure you mark him as the greatest employee ever as he is bumping his chest on your back and the cashier is laughing! I'm so glad I turned all their "recommendations" down and took my car out of there fast!

Can't count on the staff to leave your vehicle at the BayRidge Toyota Service Dept. How can you take advantage of city workers like FDNY to have their plaque stolen while the vehicle was getting serviced for a recall. Where is the respect for city workers? It's messed up how one of their staff could take away a fireman's parking plaque. I hope that person learns their lesson from it. It explains why those people are not going anywhere in life. You can't keep robbing . . . .

Service department takes five hours each time to service car then returns car with the same problem. Have been to then on three consecutive weeks, same day and car still has the same problem, with two different people working on car. Another time I took the car in for regular maintenance complained about the same problem as above told problem fixed (which was not) however they managed to tell me the car needed engine service (which I later found out it did not) and I paid over $300.00 for engina service not needed. Women especially beware.

I had been to two other dealer ships before ending up at bay ridge toyota. Manfredi promised me everything over the phone once I got their I got BS. then went over to plaza and got charged a destination fee if I wanted my corolla that day. Last but not least bay ridge toyota sales over the phone were more then helpful and courteous. Once I Got there I was greeted by a salesmanager. He then introduced me to a sales man sat me down and asked what I was looking for as opposed the other dealerships that just tried to persuade me to what benefited them. Furthermore they were kind funny and made my experience easy. I recommend anyone to go there.

I visited Bay Ridge Toyota and was greeted by one of the nicest salespeople I had ever met. He showed me the vehicle I had seen on the webite and went on a test drive. The price he gave was exactly what I saw and was driving home in my new Camry the same day. Everything I was promised was there with no problems. I have even sent some family there to look at cars. I give a two thumbs up to the entire staff

Purchased my 2010 Camry V6 SE from this dealership. Salesman was very polite and courteous and finance manager was very helpful. Had a bad experience with Plaza where they tried to add all these other hidden fees when it came to signing of the papers and I had to wait at least two weeks for the car while Bay Ridge had the car.

Bay Ridge Toyota was by far the best car dealership I've ever been too. Not only were they extremely helpful over the phone, but the service was extraordinary in the showroom as well. My salesman made sure I was 110 percent comfortable with my purchase. I love my car and every time I go in there to get it serviced, I'm always greeted with a smile. great prices, great service!

They are not honest people, you better off looking for dealer who really cares about their customers. This is my bad experience my husband and I.
We went to Bay Ridge Dealer on 6401 6thave. in Brooklyn, I looked at a car that I really fell in love with and it was marked down which it was great, so as normal couple we tried to negotiate and he didn??t accept the offer so because I loved the car I told my husband to buy it.
We bought the car and bout the insurance and put deposit and everything was set. He told us that the car was not ready to take now. So we went home and my husband said he??ll pick it up tomorrow.
My husband went on Monday to pick up the car and GUES S what they told him? It was sold on Sat. wow it was sold to 2 people at the same time. I know could have sued but my husband took his deposit and they tried to give him another car (not the same as I picked). I said no just take my money back from those thieves. I very disappointed to deal with such robbers.

George the financial manager is the most helpful person I have ever met. He tries every which way to help and makes you feel that at the end he did all he could for you and then some. Amy, the business development person, is another story. I spoke to her on the telephone and because of the way she presented herself I originally came to Toyota. So that speaks for itself. Elio was my salesman and I will not deal with anyone else. You have three very valuable people there and I thought you should know that. Jay M. Giuffrida

1. I purchased the 2009 Matrix.
2. They are not good people. I asked Boris questions and to everything he answered yes, then I decided to buy the car, and then I sat down with George who was doing the paper work, he said No to everything Boris said yes to and just played down Boris by saying that his English is not too good. George tried very hard to sell me the extended warranty, I declined it. He was happy that I had no choice in getting their dealer financing because my original financing plan was not enough. When I went to pick up the car I asked Boris if I can refinance and her answered he does not know and told me to ask George. So as you can see, after the deal was made Boris now does not know anything. I did not go back to George since I was sure I can refinance and I did from 6.26% to 3%. Boris did put a lot of pressure to give him high marks in the future questionnaire. I never answered it. He also told me some bull, said that after 1,000 miles to bring the car in to be checked out for free. I did not do that.

I created a citysearch profile for the sole purpose of reviewing this dealer. This place is terrible, and really should be avoided at all costs. They posted a leasing deal on their website, and when we went in, they claimed it was still true. After waiting around for three and a half hours, we find out at the end that we were "denied" the lease deal for no apparent reason--we both have excellent salaries and credit. Instead, they offered us a far worse deal. Clearly, we left. All around, an entire waste of time.

Let me tell you about the bayridge toyota dealership, and their bad, very bad, sales person. As i walked in, i was introduced to this sales person from whom he was supposed inform me about the used cars they have. Through the middle of the conversation, he became defensive about his knowledge of cars, and that I don't know what I'm talking about, and he is the know it all guy. His bad manners earned him nothing, i didn't bother to buy from this dealer because of him. At the last seconds of the talk, by seeing that he is ill mannered, aggressive, and arrogant, i decided to leave. And he was after all, not the least of what i would expect from a car sales person. At that point, he said something to me, a statement while i was walking out. He said, "you don't know what you're talking about". Was that the conversation? To see who knows more about cars? What was i talking about? I was telling him of my previous experiences with other cars, and that's how he replied to me, with a foul mouth. A blunt and weird person he is. Obviously, he thinks he knows it all, except, he doesn't know the basics of; "MANNERS". He needs to go back to the first grade and learn "manners a long with english", because i think he never got it straight there. Before he becomes a "car sales man", he should master the skill that was never taught to him. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Moreover, avoid him. He's the awkward looking chinese used car sales guy there. He has no inclinations to sale, rather to argue with you bluntly.

We went back to Bay Ridge Toyota to return our leased vehicle and to purchase a new vehicle from the same dealership since we had the prior relationship only be mislead by the car salesman and had to walk out of the deal after investing a whole day. Next day we went over to Plaza Toyota and got a great deal from a friendly and honest salesman for the same modeled vehicle. The salesman we dealt with at the Bay Ridge Toyota failed to disclose all the material information that impacted us financially during the structuring of the deal and mislead us. I would not recommend this dealership for a car purchase.

I go into the dealer to see which toyota suv has the stuff I need. Once I go in there, Im surrounded by dealers and they keep pressuring me to purchase a car. When I nicely said I wanted to look around and I'll ask them if I have any questions, one of them wanted me to leave my contact information with them. Maybe it was part of their job, but I was getting annoyed, so I left.

We got a decent deal on a vehicle at this dealership. The salesperson we dealt with was not knowledgeable at all and kept having to get someone else to answer our questions which wasted a lot of time. The Sales Manager made us an offer on a car that he said was alarmed but when we went to pick it up we found that it wasn't an alarm but just a keyless entry. The car wasn't properly prepped for delivery and the floor mats were missing when they were there originally. Very disappointing.
