Alma

If you're looking for an incredible view of Manhattan, look no farther than Alma. Especially wonderful on a summer evening, just before sunset, on the roofdeck. The food is excellent, flavorful but with a light touch. The guacamole is addictive.

Hang at the downstairs bar and wait for a table upstairs--it's worth the wait. The neuvo Mexican food is great, but it's the spectacular, roof-top view of Manhattan that makes Alma a must-go.

This is a wonderful Mexican restaurant in an area that doesn't really have a real estate designer name..it is close to Red Hook and Park Slope, but not exactly in either. Anyway. the Mexican food is great--try the guacamole--but the real draw is the unique rooftop dining. On a clear day, you can see the Statue of Liberty while sipping a margarita. Check it out!
