BOOOOOOOO

.

I read about this bar and asked a few friends who said they had really bad experiences here, but i didn't want to go into the city to see Minnesota play Texas in the NCAA tournament (first round). First, it took like 10 minutes to get a drink even because the bartender was talking to some guys at the far end of the bar. Then when we asked him to put the game on it took him another 10 minutes to do it, even though the game had started!!!! Then he said the game was on after putting in the channel even though my buddy and i kept telling him that he'd put in the wrong channel. He asked us if we ran a sports bar and to shut up since we didn't. We apologized (although i don't know why?) and he told us that the game wasn't on. He was wrong, my buddies saw it in the city. Which is where i'll go next time. You'd think a sports bar would care about you seeing your game. By the way, it's really filthy behind their bar.

Recently we decided to have a surprise party at Mulholland's for my best friend. He is a huge sports fan and we thought that Mulholland's would be ideal. Needless to say it was a great experience overall.. Booking the party was easy they were very accomodating. We all gathered in the backyard to surprise him and he had absolutely no idea...the look on his face was priceless! After eating tons of wings and sliders (which ended up being the perfect amount of food and really really good) we proceeded by celebrating with a ridiculous amount of shots. I definitely paid for it the next day. I think I may have even danced on the bar! Haha!!! We'll definitely never forget Al's birthday! We'll be back next weekend!!!!!!

Pros: music, lots of tv's, people

If the combination for your favorite bar / restaurant is one part rude, bigoted staff with one part bland food and horrible service, this is your ideal bar. Me? I'll never set food in there again.

Also- just a heads up, but 8 of the 4/5 star comments on here were left by the owners to drum up business.

This place is a gem! I stumbled upon Mulholland's with some girlfriends during the olympics and have been a fan ever since. It has the best bar food in Brooklyn along with the best cocktail menu I've ever layed eyes on at a sports bar. Not only is it the place to be in Williamsburg for ALL televised sports events its also super chill to catch up with friends on non sports days and indulge in some shepherd's pie or a hot toddy...did I mention they have a beautiful fireplace??!! ps. the brunch here is heavenly....yum : )

This place is a much needed additition to the neighborhood. The TV's (both indoor and out) coupled with 20+ beers on tap, good eats including GREAT WINGS and good burgers top of the best place to watch anything, also The music selection has improved as of late due to a new set of playlists I have noticed.
-love it.
hope you do too.

Mulholland's Yeah. A place for sports and politics. I had been in a few times with friends to watch a game. But on debate night I happened by and was surprised to see that Mulholland's was accomodating both. They had gone out of their way to put on the debate for a large group that was in for solely that reason. And yet still kept their regulars happy with the baseball game that night. Food was awesome. (Especially the Shephard's pie). And they had an outdoor tv in the backyard for the few of us smokers still left. Cute bartenders and accomodation. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Mulhollands...
There is no way you can walk into this place and not be made to feel instantly at home. SO comfortable in fact there is a cozy fireplace in the back...I like to go early and snatch up the couches right infront of it, so I'll race you there!! And if you'd like to enjoy the brisk winter air, or a smoke you can just head right out back through the french doors to the garden patio...what, perfect!! The bartenders couldn't be nicer and the food is off the chain...everything's always really fresh and really yummy. They are not f'in around in the kitchen. Mulhollands is a gem of a back home hot spot, right at home here in Williamsburg. Thanks Mulholland for filling the void!! U rock and we love you!!

I've been to Mulhollands a couple of times and had the pleasure of being served by a really nice bartended, but the most recent trip will definitely be my last. The owners and most of the barkeeps are rude, bullheaded morons. There's a disclaimer in the menu stating, basically, you have no rights as a customer and can be tossed at any time. Believe it. That's exactly what happened to me.

After waiting 30 minutes for a simple order of Cheese Fries, I went up to the bar and asked how much longer it would be. His response was nothing but attitude. I apologized and said I was just curious and went and sat back down. 20 minutes later, 50 minutes after ordering, I walked up and stood next to the bar to see if my food was there. The owner / bartender walked up to me and said "What!". I simply said I was waiting for my food. He then proceeded to flip out, tell me IM out of control (I was just standing there), and that I was cut off (1 had one previous beer).

For some reason, when you order your food you have to give over an ID or Credit Card or something. And after listening to this guy lose his nuts, I asked if I could at least get my ID back. He stormed over to the register, grabbed it and, as I stretched out my hand to take it from him, he threw it at my face.

Bring the Pub back (Mulhollands former Owners and Operators) because I will never go to this dump again.

And it has squatted in Mullholland's. Thank goodness! I was worried I wouldn't have anywhere in the 'Burg I could sit, pound fried food AND listen to dozens of people carry on entire conversations with 'like, er, I mean, ummm, like, like, like, you know?' while trying to watch a game. I've been 3 times now. 2x too many. Each time hoping it would be better. Lots of fried food and generic, tasteless beers. I was given attitude (as if I had asked her to do something other than her job) by the bartender when I returned my flat, warm Guiness and asked her to pour it properly. She returned immediately (a clear sign she didn't pour it properly) with a look of disgust on her face?as if she had witnessed me putting a cigarette out on a kitten?and another flat, warm Guiness. She sent over the manager who assured me it had been poured in the proper '3-stage' manner. Needless to say Guiness is poured in 2 stages not 3, but as long as people are crawling in off the street for free tall boys of Colt 45 and fat-flavored-fried-fare, who cares? And they do have lots of Bud and Bud Light. Umm-mmm nothing tastier than genetically engineered rice beer to wash down the typical generic, overpriced fried sports bar menu. If you do dare eat plan on spending the next morning in the bathroom vacating your bowels. But if you're looking to shed a few pounds or clean the pipes their menu might be the sports-bar-colonic you're looking for. It is the best new bar in Brooklyn. If you've never been to Brooklyn before and this was the first and last place you visited. Um, like..... like......cheers.

I have to say I have finally found THE spot to watch the Packers! I've been here the past two Sundays and love it here. It's so refreshing to finally find a Sports bar in Williamsburg. There's a ton of tvs, the wings here are amazing, and there's always a decent crowd hangin. I've even come by to just hang with some friends during the week.. this is def our new spot.

I WENT TO THIS PLACE WITH A FEW FRIENDS AND WE HAD AN AWFUL TIME. THE DRINKS WEAK AND PRICEY AND THE FOOD TOTALLY LACK LUSTER.... I GUESS IT WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAD NO TV AND YOU MUST WATCH THE GAME IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING.

LOOK ALIVE LOVERS...One word...Mulholland's! This beautiful sports bar on Grand and Havemeyer comes equipped with an amazingly chill staff, cocktails and beer list equaling perfection, and a fireplace that makes my heart melt. I stumbled upon it after a brilliant brunch with the girls across the street (although I've come to learn that Mulholland's has the sickest benedict ever!!) and we not only chilled with dope winter whiskey bevs by the fireplace..we also danced the night away all over, including on top of the bar! So friends, leave your yule log on your tv for the real fire in the back of Mulholland's and while your at it indulge in some drinks and snacks that deserve to be served in the hall of Greatness!! P.S....did I mention their kitchen is open til 4am?! Word.

It's not your typical over-crowded grimey bar. The place has a fireplace, outside seating, and a ton of huge flat screen tvs, playing all the sports you want to see and can get pretty busy on game nights. But the bar is also nice for a night out catching up with good friends, as there are a couple corners to tuck away in to. It has the warm feeling of a neighborhood bar and menu full of delicious - albeit not the most healthy - food. Mulholland's is the kind of sports bar you can enjoy with anyone!
