I chose this service because they advertised that it was "for women, by women". When I got there you sat in a large room with about 50 other young women. They call you back and forth a few times and finally call you into the back room.

only go here as a LAST RESORT.

I went here for a general obgyn appointment and I was highly disappointed. The person who I had my appointment with did not tell me that her office was not equip to do certain test until my second visit. It was clearly a waste of time and money? She also wasn??t attentive to my concerns, which was extremely frustrating and I had to call the office several times prior and after my visit to get any concrete answers. If you have any questions about your treatment they will try to prevent you from speaking to the person who treated you over the phone so you can come back into the office so they can bill you again?

Some of the secretaries are nice but some of them are abrupt and rude. I didn??t go here for an abortion? so I can??t comment on anything else. I knew I shouldn??t have gone here? It??s in a poor neighborhood but I didn??t have to wait too long for an appointment?like my dad always says, you get what you pay for?!

I got an abortion at Dr.Emily's when i was 7 weeks pregnant. The office was very clean and the staff is really nice. But at this clinic they wont take the time to talk to you about your decision, its pretty clean cut. If you are going to visit Dr.Emily's you must be sure about your decision. And there pretty much business. The earlier you go the faster your procedure will happen. The appointments don't really matter. And oh yeah your pretty much by your self throughout the whole thing, your boyfriend, best friend, mother, no one is allowed with you in the back while everything happens. Not for the sonogram or any of your blood work. There goal is really to get you in and out of there. The one thing that does bother are the activist on all of the exits, its just annoying like really ? things are bad enough. But overall, i had a decent experience at Dr.Emily's.

I had an abortion very early on in my pregnancy. It was an extremely difficult decision & I honestly do not think I was very well informed. I had received vaccinations & thought that my pregnancy was now @ risk, etc. I couldn't help but to see all these ratings & give a review of my own.
They refer to your pregnancy as a "blood clot" & had me WAIT until I was "far enough along so that the blood clot is in the PERFECT position". When you get there..don't expect them to comfort you or care. They are STRICTLY business and believe me...they will PRESSURE you and PUSH to make sure they make that sell on you! It's pretty sad that $365 is ALL it takes for their eyes to go green.
They rush you & make sure they take your $$$ quickly. They all wear white lab coats, but there is only ONE doctor and it's not a woman. The doctor was honestly not mean or anything. He was matter-of-factly.
But when I told them my medical concern, the "counselor" didn't even know what type of vaccine I had! It was a common one too. I will not say which one as I wish to keep my privacy. I cried SO many times there I wish they would have denied me the procedure...I cannot believe they didn't care that something was obviously very wrong with me..but again...it's an abortion clinic..so I guess I get the picture.
The one review that said they allowed them to stay with the patient..uh sorry but that's false. My fiance tried to go back with me and they flat out denied him.
If abortion doesn't phase you..then this is the clinic for you..they will rush you in and out pretty quickly in comparison to other places I suppose.
However, if this is a hard decision for you..I don't rec. this place AT ALL. Go somewhere else where the counselors will provide you with educated answers and options.
When I was crying there one of the medical assistants harshly told me to stop, twice. Really nice right? I'm sitting outside the operating room & completely bewildered..so I was quietly crying and shaking my leg and she yells at me, but then attempts to change her tone.
Before I had the procedure done I had to go outside twice because I was sobbing..and the young receptionist behind the desk just looked at me like I was pathetic...just a nasty look.
I will say that they were clean and quick..other than that...awful experience..and they really shouldn't push us around like livestock on an assembly line..and they shouldn't have the holding tank right next to the door of the operating room. Do you realize how traumatic that is? Most women were not showing when I went in..but one was seriously 5+ months along and I had to hear EVERYTHING...I still have nightmares about that. I think they should have late-term women wait somewhere else..it's just too visually disturbing. I hope I didn't offend anyone..I realize this is an abortion clinic and not a honeymoon resort..it was just honestly an awful experience and I'm a bit frustrated looking back..I truly feel like I was taken advantage of..but it was my fault. PAY THE EXTRA $$$ if this is something that you are having a hard time deciding on...or just don't have an abortion @ all..I honestly would give anything to go back and undo the decision I was pressured into...but I got myself into it..so I won't make this review personal.

I found out I was pregnant @ 4 weeks and knew that, due to medical reasons, I had to have an abortion. It was a HEARTBREAKING decision. When I called this place they told me to wait another 2 weeks to have it...because at 6 weeks the "blood clot" is in the "perfect position". This made me sick but I didn't realize I could have saved myself the torture and had it done earlier..they told me I couldn't. The staff here was RUDE for the most-part. I was crying and a nurse shouted at me to stop and another one gave me a nasty look. They definitely hurry you and pressure you through the process and didn't allow my husband in back with me. Other than that..it seems clean in there. Their website is misleading though because there is NO Dr. Emily..they rush you into a room with an old man doctor and push you on the bed and get you in and out. They do NOT counsel you whatsoever..you can tell they could care less...they definitely are there to make the sale. So unless you are POSITIVE you want an abortion and will not regret yours..don't go here. These reviews I read are ridiculous. I can't believe it. Definitely people from the clinic posting these. But I don't see why they need to do it..that clinic is packed and I'm sure it will be regardless of their reviews or not. I tried to get my sonogram and they gave me HELL about it and continued to talk down to me like an idiot. Finally I went up there and they xeroxed THREE pics onto one paper and literally made it as small as they could..so I couldn't see anything. I hated that..it's like, if they knew what they were doing isn't wrong...why do they need to act so shady about everything? In my opinion, abortion is a VERY difficult option and I wish I would have just paid the extra $300 to have it done at a nice private doctors office who would have really been much more compassionate about it and not made me feel so disgusting. I can honestly say that the biggest part of my abortion that haunts me is the process at this office.

I spoke to the people at Dr. Emily and they helped me and my boyfriend a lot. I was confused on what I wanted to do. But my boyfriend wanted me to have an abortion. The lady at the office told me that have to make the best decision for myself. that she was not here to get me to do an abortion. But that she was here to help me in whatever decision that I made. She really helped me and my boyfriend.

When I first came into the office I was so upset because I hated being in this situation again, but the staff was very caring and really listened to what I had to say. They did not make me feel bad about myself. We discussed my options. At the end, I did what I felt was best for me.

I'm 15 and I never had a abortion before. I was so scared until the people in the office made me relaxed They did not make me feel bad about needing an abortion. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions I had even if they were silly. I did not feel as scared and once it was over I felt better. They help me laugh and made me feel safe. I don't feel so sad because they really helped me out. I told the doctor that I still wanted to be with my boyfriend, but that I did not want to have another abortion. So she gave me birth control. I start them on Sunday.
