My husband and I decided to stop in for dinner on our last trip to the city, as it was just two blocks from our hotel. I'm not very adventurous with sushi, but the Spicy California roll was the best I've ever had! We both had one of the Chef's specialties (me the Thai basil chicken, my husband the Kalbi style beef) and they were delicious with the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Pros: Everything we tried was amazing!

Cons: Small space, close to other diners

Went a couple weeks ago for the first time, because of the promise of celiac-friendly offerings. Both I and my normal-diet companion were quite happy with our meals. There were plenty of GF selections - I haven't had Sesame Chicken in years! There were a lot of tempting items on the menu, but in the end we only got entrees and one appetizer (dumplings). We didn't go in expecting a gourmet meal, but we were pleasantly surprised and left happy. If I were in the neighborhood, I'd go back often.

Go with the chef's special; the Lili's Roll. It is fantastic. Compared to other chinese take out this place is far above the rest. It is really good. BUT way too expensive. The Lo Mein is great, the spare ribs are fantastic, and the sushi is all good. I highly recommend. You should go it is on the West side on 57th Street.

I recently moved to New York from California so I am kind of a Sushi snob. I have found the Sushi at Lili's to be very fresh and very very good. Their rock shrimp tempura is amazing. Their delivery service is fast and their staff is friendly.
