Great Place for nails and Facials

by DaniellainChelsea

My roommates and I frequent Serenity Spa since our second year at FIT. Now, I live in the Upper East Side and still take a trip to get my spa treatments at Serenity. Their nail salon is neat but what i like the most: you get to do everything in one place: facials, waxing, nails, etc. They do an awesome job. They rock!

Pros: Late Hours

Cons: not many locations

Excellent customer service is their main goal

by Dubskiattvnet

I have received excellent facials with well educated professionals at Serenity Spa. I was told that a plastic surgeon has join them who will be available at their spa. I have to tell my mother.

Pros: Skin care professionals

Cons: Can't deduct their bill it as a business expence

Take a break for some Serenity

by bsdbra

Serenity Spa is exactly what you are supposed to expect from a spa; the atmosphere is perfectly designed to slow anyone down after a stressful day. Quiet, cozy private rooms combined with smooth relaxing music, friendly, polite personel; Serenity Spa has become our choice for massages. Small details like a warm green tea after your massage makes a difference when getting back to reality, like work.

Pros: upscale

Great gift for the lady!!

by KCB311

I got my gf a 50 minute shiatsu massage...she's in heaven. The place looks like a nail salon when you walk in, but don't be fooled. Great service, and the lady will be happy. :)

Pros: Great gift

Thumbs up for Serenity Spa

by dorfmann

Serenity Spa is a great place. The Spa rooms are quiet, very clean and the background music very soothing to the cozy, warm ambience. Overwhelmed with the calmness and welcoming environment, I ended up staying for another hour (after my wonderful massage) finding myself involved on a pleasant conversation with the receptionist. Their website is easy to follow when making reservations. Thumbs up!

Pros: Service, ambience, location

Can't find a better place for some serenity

by liuspeaksout

Serenity Spa brings calmness to my life; even when I only frequent once a week for Facials. The whole environment brings me tranquility to my crazy daily life (specially work stress). I consider my Serenity Spa visits as time-out. Giuly is very experienced and really understands about skin care. I have tried different facials, peels , (all recommended by Giuly) and the results are always outstanding.

the right place to be ... after work

by bergdf

My wife doesn?t miss her weekly sessions at Serenity Spa. After nagging me for over thirty minutes I joined her for a totally unexpected treatment were I knew some lady was going to massage my whole body for an hour. I was terrified until the session started and I literally passed out. One of my nicest naps ever. When I woke up and my body felt loose and relax. She could have been massaging me for hours and I probably would continue with my nap. I describe it as an awesome, relax, peaceful, serene experience with a wonderful feeling of peace afterward. I was told later by a coworker (who frequents spas) that if a massage can make you fall asleep, then that is the hell of a good massage...Mammie was my lady but I heart they are all very good.

Pros: great massages, open late, good reputation by friends

Fabulous place to go

by ellieon26

I am a current Serenity Spa member. I called myself a member after my mother saw my credit card statements for the last six months. Serenity Spa has become a well-known Spa among by friends; and now my family. My mother has been visiting me more often from Boston since we sort of bonded during our Serenity Spa sessions. I love this place. Now it brings my mother closer to me every time she visits Manhattan.

Pros: Friendly customer service, organization, calm environment

Terrific place

by andrew3201

I have been told about services at Serenity Spa by co workers and goodness they were right. Finally, I made an appointment for a Facial with Judi. The facial was excellent. As a father of an esthetician I have to give a high rating to this lady at Serenity. She explained oxygen infusion so well (which sounded so complicated) and suggested to try it. I told my daughter about my facial; she agreed that oxygen is be the best addition to my skin condition after my facials; then, she got upset for not going to her (but that's another story). Serenity is a terrific Spa.

Pros: well known for great services

Cons: only one location

great local spa

by nycgal2008

I've been to Serenity Spa several times since it is so close to my apartment, and thank goodness it is! The waxing, manicure, and pedicure services are all terrific! The staff is very nice and courteous, and the ambiance is perfectly pleasant and relaxing.

Pros: services, staff, ambiance

Cons: very popular and not too big, so stay on the safe side and make an appointment if you're going during peak hours

Great for Mani/Pedi Parties

by Jillalalala

I just had my friend's bachelorette party at the spa. They were kind enough to stay open late for us because we had special circumstances, and they were very nice even though several members of my party came late or didn't show. There were about 12 of us but they could have easily accommodated more. As far as "spa" parties go, it was very reasonably priced, and they provided unlimited champagne for only $7 per person.

In response to other reviews, I think the ambience was nice and the space is welcoming. It's not a really fancy spa though. I don't know about their massage services but for my type of event it was perfect. I also didn't see any signs suggesting a required percentage of gratuity.

Pros: price, service

Cons: more of a salon than a spa

WORST SPA EXPERIENCE EVER. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.

by aplv

I went to this place for a Swedish massage and a manicure / pedicure. I didn't like anything about this place - ambience, music, staff, products, or service. The masseuse was impolite and clumsy. Her mobile phone wouldn't stop ringing and she didn't even turn it off. The massage was lousy. She used some cheap lotion all over me. It stank! I'm not even sure if the sheets I lay on were clean. The manicure and pedicure were okay but it's really hard to screw something as common as this. There are signs everywhere saying 20% gratuity is compulsory. All the staff were only concerned about the tip. The girl who was doing my nails kept walking away in the midst of my service for various things. When I added a 20% tip to the total of the bill, she said "how much for manicure/pedicure and how much for massage?" While I had my fingernails freshly painted, she insisted I give her a breakdown. Worst experience ever and a total waste of $150! I'm still kicking myself

Pros: Location. It's close to my house.

Cons: Everything else. Pl read my review.

I recommend Serenity Spa

by cscheffely

Hi, I frequent Serenity Spa for over a year now ; I am very pleased with them. I couldn't find a friendlier environment with better staff. Serenity is like home for me. Their manis and pedis last forever and the Spa is very professional. I have tried other places around Chelsea and by far Serenity is the best. The Spa is also remarkably neat and the facials and massages are very good. Book Mamie for a massage on Fridays and you will see it for yourself.

Pros: Overall I like the confidence of everyone working there. It seems that everyone knows what they are doing

Cons: Normal faults like overbooked. It is almost imposible to just walk in. Need appointments

Serenity Spa hands down!

by metroman23

I thought this place was Fabulous! What a wonderful relaxing massage I got as well as the Oxygen Infused Facial. I absolutely love to look and feel good and Serenity Spa definately made me feel that way. The staff were professional and helpful (not pushy like some other places) and I left with another appointment already set. This place is high end and I will be back and I'm bringing my entourage. More "spas" should take note of this place and see what Serenity Spa is doing so right!! The prices were where they should be for service this good. Fabulous. 5 stars

Pros: Excellent service, comfortable relaxing environment, knowledgeable staff

Cons: they're not open 24 hours!

This place used to be great but now it's just a waste of time and money

by mantha

This place USED to be great (although expensive) for manicures, spa pedicures and waxing but recently it has gotten really lazy. The spa pedicures, which were once worth the hefty price tag, have become a rip-off. Often you are left sitting in the chair toe nails unpainted for 20-35 minutes while the manicurist leaves to go do something else resulting in an 30 minute pedicure, but an hour long sit in the chair. The manicures are sloppy and the staff which used to be nice has become obnoxious and rude. They remind you at every turn that they were voted among the best of citysearch in 2006 but haven't lived up to that title since (although I'm not sure they did before either). This place has gone from a nice indulgence to a giant waste of time and money. I will be going to the manicure place across the street. I suggest you do too.

Cons: Expensive, Slow, Rude Service

I had a wonderful experience

by diannescript

I am not used to the weekly pampering experience that many New Yorkers take part (as I was told in my office) but I gave it a try. My assistant recommended Serenity Spa for a massage. Not only I had the most wonderful relaxing deep tissue massage but I got the Glycolic Peel Facial with Oxygen, Seaweed Body Wrap, waxing and my nails done. All at once and every single service was a different experience for me. I understand now why we need to take the time to relax every week. The next day It helped my mood at work; I was able to get a lot accomplished. And the Spa prices are really not bad at all.

Pros: Clean and peaceful environment, staff very well trained and polite. Closes very late

Cons: non

Serenity is the right name for this Spa

by donna_spf

I frequent Serenity Spa for their variety of facial treatments. Their staff is well informed and educated about the treatments offered. They always come up with a new Spa treatment. In the Spa business, which Its known to be very competitive, I find Serenity Spa to be one of the top places I would choose to go. Their Spa area is not very large but private. Ideal for me. I have tried from Facials to Manicures and except for a small incident ( a customer took my umbrella by mistake. I totally understood her confusion after seeing over 10 black umbrellas at the front. Fortunately, due to their surveillance cameras they contacted the customer and we exchanged umbrellas immediately) I highly recommend this Spa. I have sent my boyfriend many times for massages. Now, he frequents every other week. He has also sent a co-worker for massages. When you find a place like this Spa it's tempting to recommend it to everyone in the need for some Serenity.

Pros: Peacefull Environment in such a busy area. Professional staff

Cons: No other locations

Neat Place

by chanatnyu

The Spa at Serenity is hidden in the back but absolutely to be enjoyed by anyone in the need of peace for a couple of hours. I enjoyed an hour massage and facial and felt as if I had left the city for two hours. It felt weird when I came out to the nail area which was bright and alived with people doing mani and pedis. It was like getting back to reality but everyone was enjoying themselves. Very Cool. I recommend the Spa.

Pros: Exactly what I need once in a while, open laaaate until 10pm

Cons: Prices? average, but worthed

BEST SPECIALS IN TOWN

by kateesq

I don't know how Serenity Spa can keep great specials everyday of the week. I have every single one in my work outlook calendar. It pops up in my screen when I sit in front of my computer every morning. My boss saw it pop up once when discussing work in front of my screen; she came with me for manis and pedis that evening. It was awesome. The services are excellent. I have gotten from manicures to microdermabration. My favorite one is Wax Wednesdays.
I decided to write a review because I saw an episode of a customer complaining about her manicure to the manager a week ago. The funny thing is that months ago, I saw the same person at a salon by work while talking to a friend who was getting a pedicure. She complained loudly about her pedicure. So, the manager let her go without paying. I was seating next to her the whole time at Serenity and she was very nice and friendly: Not a word about her service to the manicurist. She totally didn't want to pay for her service. I meant to tell this story to the manager but I figure she reads Citisearch's reviews.

Pros: Friendly, calm atmosphere. I get to do all services in the same place

Cons: They don't advertize too much in magazines or newspapers but it is usually crowded and booked.

Lava Stone Massage Sucked and Walked Out With Oil In My Hair

by jenchi

I took advantage of their weekly Monday Lava Stone massage. I figured relaxing on a Monday would be great at lunch. I have had lava stone massages before, and this guy didn't know what he was doing. He was way over weight and really didn't have any muscle to put into giving a massage. He just rubbed the stones up and down my body. Not what I was looking for. To top it all off the oily hands he used to massage me, he put in my hair. This is a lunch time massage!! I had to walk around my office looking greasy for the rest of the day. The girl at the counter didn't seem to get that there was a special on Mondays either. They should take a look at their website before they advertise. Oh, the bathroom is minuscule and didn't have a mirror, so I could see how bad the oil in my hair was. I say, stay away. It's horrible

Pros: Good deal on Mondays

Cons: Crappy massage and oily hair when you leave

Try a massage with Ammie

by smilebeltral

I stoped by Serenity Spa for a massage. Fortunately, they had an opening with a female therapist called Ammie who I would strongly recommend to anyone who knows about massages. I was told that she is usually booked. It is worth to get an appointment ahead with her.

Pros: Neat and quiet, the Spa closes at 10pm

Cons: Normally you would need an appointment

The perfect escape for me

by tturnerll

If you are in the need of some Serenity time without the straggle of getting into the whole spa scene (which I find stressful:obligated to talk and mingle with other "spa goers" who enjoy blabbing non-sense for hours in the relaxing or steam rooms), Serenity Spa is the perfect spa for you.
I am a New Yorker who works hard and enjoys massages, facials, scrubs, pedicures, etc. but like some nail salons I don't like to be rushed or getting facials from unprofessionals. I love pampering myself in a nice, quiet, private environment with professionals who I can trust. At Serenity Spa, I received a wonderful oxygen facial from a very knowledgeable skin care lady, a perfect deep tissue massage, salt scrub and pedicure. Afterwards the nail lady was waiting for me as soon as I walked out the Spa. All the staff are very polite. I got all my treatments done in 3 1/2 hours. I got one treatment right after another with four different therapists in a very organized way so it made my whole experience very peaceful.

Pros: organized, professionals, neat rooms, private

Cons: need more locations

What a wonderful party

by camdell

My friends invited me to a party at Serenity Spa with two other colleagues. The spa was impeccable and the ladies who did our services were very friendly and welcoming. We all had a great time between massages, facials and pedicures. We also had champagne, strawberries, and snacks. It was just perfect for our bride. We had pretty much the spa for ourselves for over 3 hours; it made our spa-party experience even better.

Pros: Friendly crew, calm environment

Serenity Spa is just wonderful

by lauraatpierce

I had a wonderful experience at Serenity Spa. I never expected to find such a quiet and peaceful place so close to me. My best friend brought me for a Facial and Massage but we ended up spending four hours of pampering. The front area is so bright and clean while the spa area is so calm, peaceful and neat. The massage and facial were perfect and the Brazilian lady who did my facial was friendly and very professional. I never felt pressured to purchase any product from them, but when I realized that they carry Dermalogica I did all my shopping. Now, I don't have to shop on line anymore. I recommend this spa to anyone in the area.

Pros: Impeccable Spa. Great Hours. Friendly staff. Good Products.

Cons: 6 blocks from home.

Serenity Spa is for me!

by revraquel

I received a gift card from a friend who's wedding I officiated in December, and just today got a chance to use it. I must admit that after reading the posts on this site, I was a bit reluctant, but didn't want to ignore this sweet gift. I have never visited a spa before but decided to be open to the experience. I was a bit early (they open at 11am on Sundays), but the staff had just arrived. After about five minutes waiting time outside, I walked in and was greeted by the receptionist...big smile on her face and very welcoming. The soft music was playing as the staff continued to drift in, and prepare their supplies for the day. Almost all of them greeted me, offered me a place to sit, and offered me water. Yes, I did hear some of them speak Spanish, but very softly and only to each other. What a great city where one can visit an establishment staffed by a diverse staff who speak several languages...from English, to Spanish and Asian languages.
When speaking to me, they spoke English, even though I had made it obvious that I also speak Spanish!
Anyway, I received a WONDERFUL facial by Carmen in a nice quiet, except for the soft music, and softly lit room. I was pleased with her expertise and her gentleness...explaining everything that she was going to do. I was blown away when after completing my facial, she rubbed my shoulders and upper back...what a great bonus! As someone who works in the world of energy healing, I appreciated getting something back, especially when it was unexpected. Once the treatment was over, we talked softly and I thanked her profusely for this wonderful experience. The receptionist was also very sweet and gave me a little envelope so that I could leave Carment a tip....I loved this idea and the privacy. I also asked Carmen if she could recommend one of their products for home use. I went away very happy and will DEFINITELY be back! I think that we sometimes take ourselves too seriously and don't give others a chance. Thank you, SS!

Pros: Ambience, staff

Cons: none

This is my place...great Services

by abbyhill

I moved by Serenity Spa in Chelsea last year; I haven't found any other place as friendly, spotless with professional services like this place. I get to enjoy both:a spa and a nail salon; it works great, I get to do my facials, waxing, massages and my nails. Their spa is cozy and very quiet while their salon is very friendly, clean and usually busy. My nail polish lasts forever. I love it.There is a waiting room at the spa where you get to relax and change before your session. I frequent other spas as well but can't really get everything done in one place. I find Serenity Spa very private than other places. I don't get to hang out with other people in the waiting area while or I want is relax without having to improvise for anyone. Make appointments ahead.

Pros: great services and setting

Cons: need appointments, can get crowded

Could've been a great experience if they knew what was going on

by cristina625

My fiance bought me a package with the works (massage, facial and spa manicure) and from the beginning they were scatterbrained. My massage was great but was interrupted halfway through because my masseur thought it was a half hour instead of an hour. I was expecting more of a deep tissue massage but it felt good none the less even if not of my knots were removed. The facial I felt was mediocre as well. It felt wonderful but very few extractions were done and honestly I felt it did little to nothing for my skin. My face really dried out afterwards in some areas but my hairline was incredibly oily.

If my day had ended there I would've given the place a 7 or an 8 but I had a manicure that can only be described as horrendous and ruined my day there. The lady who did my nails couldn't have been less interested in doing her job. I have silk wrappings on which had been filled a week prior. She barely filed them down at all and did a poor job of cleaning them (they were brown under the nail). She tried charging me and when I explained that this was worked out before as a part of a gift package she called the manager over! (SO RUDE, couldn't you check discreetly?!) She slathered goop all over my hand before telling me so I could remove my engagement ring then I got a comment to the tune of "oh I missed it because it's so tiny" (WHAT???). The paint job was bad, it chipped right out of the spa and bubbled over my nails due to the poor filing job.

The real kicker came when they told my fiance that it was customary to tip 20% to EACH person who worked on me which would have upped the price over 60%. They really pressured him until I pulled him off to the side and told him what an appropriate amount would be. Only came to modify this when I saw the laudable comment left by the owner. I WILL be sure to let everyone know to AVOID your salon at all costs. Obviously you don't know the meaning of the word PROFESSIONAL. Nice to know you guys muddle the truth

Pros: Nice massage, wonderful oils

Cons: Not organized, some staff is RUDE, very pricey, owner couldn't give a you know what

EXCEPTIONAL!!

by tfny

If you are looking for a welcoming, friendly spa and exceptional services, gotta try Serenity Spa. Walking on Sixth Avenue, saw an add for 29.99 manicure and pedicure; I wasn't only welcomed by great staff but got constant attention. The place is beautiful and very clean. Unfortunately, the spa was booked and couldn't get a facial nor a massage but i heard great statements from people walking out of their massages and/or facials (while getting my manicure). I'll call next time.

Pros: variety of services, good reviews from customers, clean

Cons: need appointments

Wonderful service, great hours

by ps1580

I've been to Serenity once, and I really enjoyed my experience. I had a 90 minute massage that completely relaxed me. I work very long hours and hold a lot of tension in my upper back, and I told this to the massage therapist who was able to focus in on those areas and relieve my tension. I also had a wonderful pedicure with a very sweet woman. She did an impeccable job, and it's lasted me over two weeks without a chip. I was repeatedly asked if I was comfortable and if everything was okay, which made me feel very well taken care of. For NYC, the prices are very reasonable for the excellent service that you get. And the hours are fantastic. Anyone who works long hours knows that a spa open until ten on weeknights is the perfect post-stressful day indulgence. I highly recommend this salon.

My place

New Yorkers get spoiled with the extensive spa facilites to choose. I selected Serenity for its location and late hours. After visiting this divine and heavenly spa I can not go anywhere else. The spa facility is located in the back which provides privacy from the pedicure area. I feel very confortable with their staff. The low lighting , soft music and lavender smell on the rooms create the perfect environment for your treatments. I have experienced other big spas and non of them provided me with the privacy, special attention and warmness of Serenity Spa.

Great Massages and Facials and...

by eurora

I was very amazed with the services at this neat Spa. After reading reviews at citisearch I decided to treat myself after a week of unpacking at my new place in Chelsea. As soon as I walked in, a friendly receptionist explained me the different services offered. She was so helpful and patience. Even though they couldn't accommodate me right away I got to book everything i needed for the late evening. After running some errands I got to enjoy a massage, a facial, a body wrap, a manicure and pedicure. Four hours of pampering with three outstanding staff members. The spa was calm and very private. My sensitive face looks better than never and all my back pain was GONE. It has been three days and my polish is perfect. They have to use something special with the polish since I've unpacking and very though on my nails.I strongly recommend this Spa.

Pros: Impeccable establishment and services

Cons: Appointments are recommended

The best manicures and pedicures in Chelsea

The Perfect "Go-To" Spa

by sjg78

I visit Serenity a few times a week because it is the perfect spa for the necessary treatments (such as waxings) and the indulgences (such as massages). It is beautiful and VERY, VERY CLEAN, yet somehow manages to charge the same prices as those disgusting nail salons on every corner, while also offering many more treatments. It is also open late nights and weekends which is very convenient for those who work long hours or have nail emergencies. The manicures and pedicures look and feel great. Plus, they really last a long time because they use high-quality base and top coats. I have been getting my legs waxed for over a decade and I can definitely say that the type of wax used at Serenity, and the level of knowledge of the staff, makes for a very pleasant, effective waxing experience. Finally, the massages are amazing. (You can also get quicker chair massages when you have less time and they really do the trick.) As someone who has had multiple surgeries and injuries, I have had massages all over the world, but the masseuse at Serenity is one of the best.

Pros: Late Hours/Weekends, Prices, Quality Treatments

Cons: Busy at the usual busy times (but handles it well)

The best Massage I had

by rose456

I have a spa addiction back at home. Visiting New York, my best friend refered me to Serenity Spa. I scheduled a full day of spa treatments: a seaweed wrap, scrub, lava stone massage, facial and spa pedicure. I was very amazed with each and every service but the massage was the best I ever had. If you have a great knowledge of spa treatments and massages, you will absolutely enjoy the services at Serenity Spa. I strongly recommend it.

Pros: Clean, Massages

Good pedis & manis --- Bad massages

by c3c2w6

I went with girlfriends this weekend for the spa week special (45 min hot oil massage and 90 min mani & pedis). The manis and pedis were great. The massage on the other hand was a whole other experience. The guy giving me a massage had dead skin on the hand so when he started massaging me i mentioned that something was scratching me; he adjusted by using one had with either the fingers or the heel of the other hand. At different points he put too much pressure into the massage and I would ask him to ease up on the pressure. He did but would forget as soon as he was at a different spot. I went home, showered and discovered bruises.

heavenly pedi

by bk_chic

Just went for a side-by-side pedi with a friend over the weekend & fell in love with this place. It has the prices and casual atmosphere of a neighborood salon, but the treatments, service, and cleanliness of an upscale spa - pretty much the best of both worlds. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the special masque pedicure was wonderful. And, the massage chair was a welcome surprise! I've sat in these chairs during pedicures before, but this one was fabulous - not only vibrating, but kneading your back. I'd go back just for the complimenatry massage!

Excellent Experience

by spellburgdonna

I booked a City escape package at Serenity Spa after reading great reviews at Citisearch. All I have to say: I found myself a spa next to home. They are open late and the atmosphere is neat. The staff is friendly; there is always a lady cleaning.

Pros: neat, clean, knowledged staff

Friendly atmosphere, neat, exceptional services

by kdruke

The services and staff at Serenity are just exceptional. I had a facial with a wonderful lady who explained me every step of my C and C facial. I loved my first facial. I am a master when it comes to massages. I have traveled everywhere and I tryed many spas; this masssage was outstanding. I am going back to try other services.

Pros: location, hours, staff

Very good customer service

by klein32400

The staff at Serenity made by experience very pleasant. The therapists who did my facial and massage were very friendly and polite. They always asked if I was pleased with the strength of the massage, the temperature of the room, if I needed water, etc. Even the receptionist smiled and answered in detail at every question I had. I thanked my friend Andrea who strongly recommended me this Spa.

Pros: Friendly ambience, peaceful environment, good facial and massage

Try Serenity Spa

by morton33

I can not get a deep tissue massage anywhere in Chelsea but at Serenity. The therapists just know exactly what to work. I have tryed three of their massage therapists including a male and I just have to rate them the best.

Pros: late hours, experienced and professional therapists, clean

Great Massage, but Atmosphere could definitely be better

by dirftmd

I got the cityescape package, which included a facial, massage and manicure, pedicure. For some reason we got our mani/pedi done first but without polish (probably to save time cause other customers were still in the facial/massage rooms). The massage was really great, it totally fixed my back which had been aching for days. The facial was also nice and relaxing, though i didnt notice any real difference in my skin. After those two treatments we were taken back out to have the polish put on our nails, but by then the salon had become kind of busy and they just threw us around and worked at super lightening speed and pretty much rushed the job. It was still a good mani/pedi, but feeling like a burden dampened the whole experience, and they could have been more careful with the polish... not as clean as i have seen at other places. Overall the package is good for the price, but I think I would choose a spa next time that had a little bit more atmosphere.. this was definitely more of an upscale salon with one room for massages and one room for facials, rather than a full-on spa experience.

Pros: great price, great massages, great massage chairs for pedicures

Cons: atmosphere more like a salon, rushed mani/pedi

Neat and lovely Spa

by danainnewyork

Need a break from walking around the city in this heat? Try Serenity's tired leg spa pedicure. We were so impressed by the results of this one hour pedicure that we made an appointment for a couples massage for the end of the day. I can not explain how wonderful I slept last night. The receptionist was very patience and explained carefully every question we had. We are going back to try other treatments.

Pros: Clean. Great pedicures

Bad experience

by rsnyc

I made the mistake of going here for an eyebrow wax. The woman was really rude to me and made me feel really uncomfortable. I was in the room for literally less than five minutes. It wasn't efficient-it was really rushed. She did not tweeze after waxing to clean up stray areas as most other places do. She did not put on any kind of lotion to decrease redness after she was done. I would not go back to this place ever. When I paid the cashier, the waxer was hovering over me and staring at me, waiting for her tip, which was really unprofessional also b/c usually you bring it back to them after you pay. There are plently of other options in this city...don't settle for this place.
