Budget's tight? Get fed and drunk all at the same place. Free pizza with my beer? Thank you very much!

I mean seriously where can you get this kind of deal anywhere else in the city? Not a free slice! It is a free personal pie! I mean yeah it is a plain cheese pizza but still! You can get a drink with a meal for no more than $6. That is simply awesome.

I stopped by with a group of 7 other drunk friends. We had 13 pies!!! Yah what a great night.

Pros: Free pizza with a drink

This place is legendary for their too good to be true (but totally true!) gimmick of free pizza with a drink purchase. No catch, you are given a ticket to redeem on site for a free personal cheese pizza with literally every drink you purchase. The pizza's pretty yums too! I forced myself to stop redeeming the tickets after my second pizza (the drinks obvi kept flowing). Free stuff is always great, but that's not the only reason to go to Crocodile Lounge. The drinks are cheap, happy hour is even cheaper, and they have naked photo hunt AND skee ball! The main room is basement-ish but friendly with a cool couch nook and over-sized plush pillows. Venture alllll the way to the back for the games and Croc's hidden gem of a surprisingly sexy outdoor patio. They even have trivia nights and other events that encourage activities along with your boozing. I have nothing bad to say, Crocodile Lounge pretty much equals guaranteed happiness.

Pros: prices, PIZZA!, patio, games

Cons: nada

I love the Crocodile Lounge - even though I do have a friend who has screamed at the pizza guys, "I don't get your business model!" The 14th Street location has a great little patio in the back during the warm summer months and also has skee-ball and photo hunt if you want to play some games while unwinding. Only problem I have is that it can be difficult to get a table or even a barstool. While drinking, you'll get tickets every time you order a beer to redeem for pizza. Not hungry? Keep the tickets. I have been known to go back to the bar late night to redeem my tickets for pizza - sans drink. Don't judge.

Question: What??s better than trivia night and pizza? Answer: Trivia night and FREE pizza. This God-given truth is confirmed every Wednesday night starting at 8:30 at Crocodile Lounge (325 E. 14th Street at 1st Avenue). Here??s the deal ?? every time you order a drink, the bartender gives you a ticket worth one personal pizza, which can be immediately redeemed at the pizza oven twenty-five yards away. Every time. Sure, the pizza tastes like cardboard smothered in ketchup, but it??s FREE. And sure, the bar is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but where else do you expect to get free food? (Here??s a hint: they??re not passing out free ANYTHING at the Soho Grand Hotel). And while you??re munching on your free pizza, you can scratch your head and search your soul for the answers to such questions as: What is the capital of Iceland? (it??s Reykjavik); Who was the sixth president of the United States? (it was John Quincy Adams); Who sang the 1980s hit ??Blame it on the Rain?? (technically Milli Vanilli, though they were lip synching); or What is the name of the blonde guy on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? (Ellen Degeneres). Those with the greatest command of useless knowledge can win pre-paid bar tabs of various amounts, allowing them to drink more booze, and yes, eat more free pizza. So, to get you in trivia mode, here??s a little warm up for you. Question: Why wouldn??t you go to The Crocodile Lounge on Wednesday nights? Answer: Because you hate having fun.

Pros: Free pizza, various arcade classics, trivia, free pizza.

This is the perfect bar for a casual night out with friends. A free pizza with every drink is all the bait needed to reel me in, but on top of that there is skee ball, arcade games, and a photo booth! During the week there is trivia night and nintendo night with complimentary bar tabs at stake. On the downside, it does get hot sometimes due to overcrowding and the pizza oven, but they make up for it with a jumbo sized fan keeping the air moving!

This place is awesome!!!! Free pizza with every drink! I've been here with my boyfriend and some friends and we played ski-ball and used the photo booth which was a cute souvenir. There's a few cozy nooks to sit and hang out in with pillows. I arrived once for trivia night at around 10:30 PM and it was packed with several teams and tough questions. Overall....this place ROCKS!!!!!!!

love this place! quick correction to citysearch's info: the well drinks are $4, not $3, during happy hours. still, you simply can't beat a pizza and a drink for $4. granted, the pizza isn't your typical new york style, but i'm not from new york, so i don't care! the pizza is good, the drinks are strong, the bartenders are very friendly. all around, a great joint. also as a bonus, there is an itty bitty arcade in the back. it has skee ball among other things. but i loved the photo booth. it's usually pretty empty during happy hour (which is baffling) but picks up after 6 for the work crowd.

Well for one thing I say the name is misnomer as the place is more of a neighborhood bar than a lounge. That and I couln't find any crocodiles anywhere ; ). The place is packed full of the NYU crowd on the weekends and who could blame them. Free pizza w. your beer is too good an offer to pass up. And to be honest the pizza is actually pretty damn good. They have there very own pizza oven so you get a piping hot and fresh pie every time. The service is good and the bartenders are usually friendly enough. There are some fun old school game to pass the time away too.

I first came here back when it was the Cellar. When I found out they were closing and switching owners, I was disappointed at first. But when I heard they were opening up the brother bar of the one in Williamsburg (Alligator), I was excited. Everything people have said is true. Decently priced drinks, chilled people and of course a free personal pizza with every drink. Some people didn't like the fact that its dark and kinda dirty but thats why I like it. I recommended this place for a friends b-day (because she wanted something low-key and cheap) and everyone had a good time. My only complaint was that it was so hot in the back I had to stand in front of this large fan to keep from sweating. If you want some pizza to absorb that beer, there is no better place.

If you're vegan like me, just ask them to leave the cheese off of the pizza. They're fine with doing that. Go in the afternoon for a cheap lunch. Order a Yuengling ($3), get your free pizza, and shoot the stuff with your buddies for a while.

I went here during a wkday for a little get together with some friends and had a great time. I arrived around 9 15 or so, so its beyond the happy hr time but the drinks were still pretty cheap. The free pizza bit is def true and the pizza aint bad either. A little on the doughy side but jus lay off the crust to be low carb =)

the games are really fun and i would highly suggest this place for a date! Its very chill but can get a lil on the crowded side. theres skeeball and video hunting games and even a photo booth!

Tons of fun for a chill night out! Highly recommended!!

I am so glad that I decided to go to the Crocodile Lounge, the atmosphere is friendly and you get great drinks for a low price. The best feature is the free pizza and they are great!!

I was skeptical at hearing that you get free pizza with your drinks, but believe me... you should go there. The pizza are nice size (about 6-8"inches in diameter) and you get six slices. They are ready piping hot and they taste great!!

Who knew!! You can get your drinks and free food for such a reasonable price, you will never want to leave. Also they have video games and skeet ball machines. They also have a nice outdoor patio. This place is a kick-ass place to go and enjoy a friday evening. I will recommend it to anyone.

They really give you a small personal pizza (6 smallish slices). Its about the size of 2 average NYC slices of pizza for every $6 beer you order. The arcade games in back rock especially skeeball for 50cents a game. The photobooth was down but its only $3.00. There were lots of NYU students and only one girl bartender, which made it hard for us girls to get a drink! I would go here again before or after going somewhere nearby and probably on a week night.

Fun place. You've got well or average priced drinks and FREE PIZZA. And the pizza is actually good. Plus, there's a great B&W photo machine for $3 that you can take cute pictures with your friends or significant other and there's amazing bar games like Big Buck Hunter in the back. Just know that on weekends, especially Friday, it's really crowded.

Does it get any better? Each $6 beer you order gets you one personal, free cheese pizza! And the pizza is good! You get as many pizzas as you can eat, which makes this an ideal place for cheap dinners if you're a student or just live on the cheap (don't we all in NYC?). The decor is unpretentious and the bare minimum. Old-school arcade games and small outdoor garden are the icing on the cake.

Passing by, we saw a sandwich board on the sidewalk in front proclaiming "Free pizza! Skeeball tables!" Thinking this too-good-to-be-true, we went inside. What followed was one of the MOST fun nights I've had in the city. Observe: (1.) Free pizza. Literally. The guy makes the dough and they have a huge, Ray's-Pizza-like oven. (2.) Two skeeball lanes! (3.) An old-fashioned photobooth that costs $3. You can't FIND ones like this in the city. (4.) Yuengling, Stella, and Magic Hat on TAP!! (5.) Buck Hunter. (6.) That Whack-the-Crocodile game from Chuck-E-Cheese. (7.) The friendliest staff I've come across in a while. The manager kept on coming back to check our pizza status. This place used to be THE CELLAR, a kinda shady, dark, gross bar... THANK GOD the Croc moved in. Hopefully, the backyard beer garden will be opening up soon! I'll def be back soon!
