While shopping in the area with my partner, we stumbled upon one of NY's best kept little secrets, the Atrium Cafe. Exhuasted from shopping we decided to enter the building and have a seat at the cafe. The waiters were very cordial

Can't believe I have to write this, but customers should know the attitude of this establishment. I attended a charity event at the Atrium Cafe last night. When I retrieved my work bag at the end of the evening, my keys were missing and then quickly returned being told that they "fell" out. Fine, things were a bit hectic, but when I went through my bag, I noticed that my $200+ iPod was gone. The manager was very nice and the crew searched high and low but couldn't find it. I was given the manager's card and told to check back in the morning and not to worry, that "things would be taken care of one way or the other."
Imagine my surprise when the next day I was told that the manager was not available and that I would have to talk with his boss. I was informed that they actually searched the employees and their possessions and didn't find my iPod; so sorry, I'm out of luck, thank you very much, have a nice day and by the way, the men were very upset to be searched and accused of stealing. First of all, I never accused them last night of stealing, I went out of my way to be calm and give them the benefit of the doubt. I didn't expect them to accuse me of fabricating the story and trying to make me feel bad for having to search the men.
Bottom line? Can't say much about the food, but beware the attitude of a restaurant that believes the customer is never right... I hope this review keeps more than the $200 for the ipod of business away. It's the only way powerless customers can fight back!

Cons: Management has no regard for it's responsibility to it's customers
