This place is terrible. They lie about delivery times, the food arrives cold, and its just not that good. There are enough great Chinese restaurants in the city - this place simply isn't worth your time or money.

My boyfriend and I went to this place when we visited my sister who lives in NYC. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything much--kind of small and a little narrow, but there are some cool water fountains in the windows. We ended up having a great time here. We all ordered a couple of Saki Bombs and had dinner. A few of us had sushi and I had the Cashew Chicken. Soooo Goood! I had a pretty good exprience here and would definitely go back.

Been ordering from this place for a few years. Food is always great and the delivery is quick. I have not been to their new location on the corner of 3rd Ave and 13th St but looks nice from the outside.

Pros: Great Pad Thai

I went to Friendhouse about a year ago with a few friends and the place was great. You walk in to a place with brick walls, dim lights, and candles placed in sockets on the table. It's very romantic, definitely a good place to bring a date. The food was exceptional as well. I had their house sushi, which was delicious. Overall, it's a great place to have a date or bring a few friends along for sake bombs. Highly recommended.

When you look at the front of Friend House, it looks like this really small place with nothing inside. However, once you walk in, it seems to go on forever. I went with a group of my friends this summer and they were able to give us our own table for 8 with no wait at all. The food was excellent and the drinks were even better. They have sake bombing and other good drinks. It was a little expensive, but so is every other bar/restaurant in NYC, so it is definitely worth it. I would recommend trying them out!

Friend House is a sleekly spare space, with a clever waterfall-under-glass dividing the kitchen from the dining room. The menu offers a tasty yet sometimes pedestrian pan-Asian collection that includes bacon-wrapped shrimp and salt and…
