I stumbled on their resume writing website on Google, and then checked them out on citysearch. When I called, I spoke with Tawana. She asked a lot of good questions and was very nice and helpful. She drafted my resume quickly and professionally. It was great deal compared to other sites. Go here for resume writing in New York, or nationwide. They're great!

I am very happy with my resume. The final document looks outstanding. I have to say I look much better on paper that I ever imagined. Be sure to ask for Tawana, she was awesome!!!! We spoke on the phone for about an hour. I know the website says 30 mins but she will talk with you until she has gotten every achievement out of you.

She asked me if I had all of the money in the world and still wanted to work, what would I do? I had to really think about my life. She also asked me about the defining moments in my career.

I thought I was in counseling or therapy LOL. When I got off the phone with her I truly felt better about my career and direction. The woman has true talents and will change the way you view your job, life and career. I thought I was just getting my resume re-written but now realize it so much more than just summarizing your background its selling your strengths and reminding yourself of who you are.

She told me I am an amazing person with a great background and I should really start selling myself more and not take myself for granted.

I say all of this to say...she did a great job and helped me regain the confidence I almost lost. When I went on a job interview, I ROCKED it! And it is because of Tawana. I am forever a fan and truly grateful. Highly recommend this service.

Went here with friends this weekend for brunch. I used to enjoy this place quite a bit, but really feel like it has gone down hill lately. The brunch was mediocre. I got the eggs with salmon and hollandaise on a jalapeno biscuit. The biscuit was rock hard and the sauce wasnt as good as I remembered. I'm disappointed because this place used to be on top of it's game. The service was a bit slow as well. Definitely not worth the money. I have had much, much better brunches in the area. I doubt we will go back.

Country Cafe could not have been better. Was one of the first to arrive and within 20 minutes the restaurant was packed. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious, especially the mushroom casserole. You feel like you are in a little bistro somewhere in Europe. Everyone was so welcoming and nice, and the service is attentive but not overbearing. The waitress was very helpful in making recommendations. I can't wait to go back.

The upstairs dining room has a fixed price menu in the most elegant setting. Several selections for each course offered good variey. Great service. Food presentation was lovely. Downstairs bar was casual and noisy. Upstairs champagne bar was much more quiet and inviting. Expensive - perhaps not unexpected in NYC.

My experience at Country was great! The staff was friendly, our food came out very fast and all of the meals ordered at the table tasted outstanding ( I tried them all!) Definately a great place to go on a date or with friends. Highly recommend.

I had weekend brunch at the cafe. My husband and I both thought that the food was below average, and overpriced. The chicken soup and macaroni were just too salty that we had a hard time finishing the meal. There was nothing special about the meal. I was very disappointed.

I have always loved Geoffrey Zakarian's restaurant Town and Country is no different. The Cafe has a more casual feel, is gorgeously decorated and the upstairs is elegant and refined. The food and drinks were great and I would especially recommend the striped bass because it was to die for. While I am normally not a huge eater I ate every course and loved them all. Country is definately a great dining experience.

This was my first experience at Country and I absolutely loved it! I will definitely go back! The atmosphere, food and the service were all outstanding. I highly recommend having the Morel Mushrooms and the Chocolate Beignets for dessert!

Dined here on Saturday. We arrived early for our 8:15 res, let them know we were there, sat at the bar close to the hotel lobby, and when ready we were assured there were plenty of tables. We were brought to the hostess station who then told us we would have to wait unitl they cleared our table. We were left standing in the crowded entrance. Why not let us wait in the bar, seated and comfortable and let us know when the table was ready? Why tell us it was no problem? Attitude at the front desk is deplorable. Hostess was haughty and acted inconvenienced when we wanted to check our coats. She brought us to our table, mumbled something about specials and then slapped menus on the table and walked away. At our table my husband's chair was bumped by no fewer than 3 employees until we finally asked to move. That took about 15 minutes. When we were finally brought to a new (better) table, it took another 10 minutes for our server to approach us. Food runners put food down roughly. Overall the food remains great - I really enjoy it and it is spot on every time, but the service is enough to make me not go back. This was the second time I've been there and it was just as bad the first time.

We arrived on time for our reservation at 8 PM on a Wednesday night and we weren't seated until 9:15 PM. That would have been fine if our food arrived promptly. It didn't. Our server blamed the kitchen manager for the delay with both a side dish and dessert. The side dish (bleu cheese potato gratin) arrived under cooked and had a soupy consistency. My dining companion had been to the Cafe at Country many times before in the past year and had a wonderful experience. I suspect the restaurant has lost some of it's luster. Though most of the meal was tasty, it wasn't spectacular. Bad service always creates a bad dining experience.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. If it werent for subtle, contemporary flairs that cut through some of the austerity of the space, it would be a very formal dining experience, even for the most seasoned Epicurean and bon vivant.

Not being a huge fan of prix-fixe menus, I indulged in the Spring Tasting menu, which, before we received what was actually ordered, a few amuse bouches that challenged our gourmandizing bellies arrived. A frog-leg in green-garlic sauce and a foie gras mousse tartlet. I neither enjoy frog or goose liver, but I couldnt turn down the gratuitous delicacies. The frog was ironically served on a silver lily-pad with a silver little frog, which seemed to be enjoying its wee green life before being slaughtered, dismembered and dunked into a zesty, verdant sauce.

Our first course was a spring-pea soup with fresh shrimp and a seafood gelatin. The latter was an odd, unnecessary and untouched addition to what could possibly be some of the most fresh-tasting, velvety soup Ive ever had. It was a nice start with exception of the shellfish jello. Our second course was a wild-salmon with fresh fennel and Meyer Lemon sauce. A very moderate portion that, at first, had me jumping to a typical American reaction, Thats it? In any event, I got back to the matter at hand and enjoyed a succulent piece of salmon. Next was Spring Lamb with an eggplant puree and rosemary. Im sure Im missing some flavors that graced the meat, but it sure was delicious.

Dessert was a toasted brioche with lemon sorbet and fresh lemon wedges on a passion-fruit puree. It would not be the dessert I would order off the menu if I had the choice. Unfortunately, I didnt so I sucked it up and ate every last morsel from the plate, exclaiming how light and delectable it was.

We dined at the cafe on the ground floor of Country and the entire experience was overall a pleasant one. The interior sets a dark mood with wooden tables and booths. This would be a great spot for a romantic date. The bar area was definitely the most happening place and the wine list did not disappoint. Now for the misses.. the food was extremely ordinary. For a restaurant of this caliber with a great chef backing it, we expected more innovation food-wise and for the prices we paid. The food tasted fine but it just wasn't right on. Perhaps we were looking for a dining experience and Country didn't deliver. When the evening ended, we left a little lighter but not happier. I would not revisit.

I stayed at the Carlton, the hotel in which the Country reastaurant is located. First night I was tired so I ordered room service. The girl that took my order, Gabrielle, was absolutely amazing in helping me with my choices, and let me tell you, when the food came, I was amazingly surprised at the taste and quality. Second night I went back for a drink and had something there to eat again, even though I was going to another restaurant later for dinner. Amazing food and nice atmosphere, I highly recommend it!

Four of us who eat out pretty much every night of the week went on a whym to Country tonight. Aside from the fact the maitre de claimed the dining room was 'full', we were seated at a great table overlooking the lobby of the hotel and ordered the 5 course tasting menu. Though expensive (which every new joint seems to be these days), the experience was more than fantastic. We requested the 'surprise' tasting menu, everything at the decision of the chef. The service, the settings, the courses, the sommelier, the atmoshphere, all were top notch. An absolute delite for clients and parents alike. Every staff member was knowledgeable of their service and product. Every dish true to it's form and taste. Truly a satisfying experience. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone in search of a culinary experience.

My friend and I went to have brunch at Country a while back and it was an incredible experience. We have a couple of friends coming into town next week and we thought this would be the best place to show them a truly NY experience. The ardently decorated cafe matches their alacrid service and invigorating menu.
Everyone has too at least try it once if not for the menu, then for the atmosphere. An absolutely wonderful new restaurant.

Being a fan of Chef Zakarian's Town restaurant at the Chambers Hotel, I was anxiously waiting the new Country to open it's doors at the newly renovated Carlton Hotel. When they finally opened after some delays, the wait was well worth it.

Madison Square park area is becoming the new Restaurant Row. The Country fits perfectly to this new wave of fine restaurants. Cafe downstairs gives a casual yet refined dining and the main dining room upstairs gives you an elegant and upscale dining experience. Even the prices and the food ingredients and preparations are quiet different on each floor, the overall feeling is the same; extremely satisfied with the ambience, service and the food.

I dont know what yall have heard of this place but i was a bit disappointed upon arrival and throughout dinner. Firstly this is nothing more than some wanna be upscale food bc its really just seats next to the bar. the beet salad that i had for appetizer was waay overdressed w vingearette and the cod i think it was, was bland bland bland. dont bother w dessert bc it was disappointing as well. i had a pineapple turnover cake type thing and it was blah to say the least. dont go. the decor isnt all that, its loud and the seats are not plush or comfy by any means. disappointing indeed.

The bar was cool and so was the scene, but I tried to order a bottle of Vueve Clicquot and they didn't even have it. What kind of champagne bar doesn't have Vueve, that was annoying. I got something else and tried some cocktails which were good. Next time I hope they have some.

Very disappointed. I had high expectation since I'm a regular at Town. But food was good, but service is someting that needs huge improvements. First, front desk people were bunch of snobs, services uneven, food came out very fast(even before we finished our appetizers). These little things differentiate from the great restaurant to just another good restarant. I'm sure hotel crowd will help, but wondering with so many other great restaurants, why this one.

I went to Country with my boyfriend on a Friday night after work. We were looking for something romantic, but more importantly, we were looking for great food. We found both at Country! I have been a fan of their sister restaurant, Town, for many years and was looking forward to trying the new place. It really exceeded my expectations! The food was amazing especially the ribs and the roasted artichokes (a side dish) and the staff was great! Dont forget to ask for their sommelier! He made great recommendations. I cant wait to go again!

I could not believe how special the staff made me feel. We went there for my b-day and I was treated like a princess though I dont think they would have acted any different towards us if it were not. The food is great to. This is the first restaurant I have been to in NYC that I can truly say it is worth every penny! I must say, skip the cheese plate it was not that good and trade it for another glass of champagne!!

Best of all possible worlds: Brand new modern blended with old fashioned romance. A great bar tender willing to recommend and to get creative. The ambiance is why New York is the coolest. We just spent a long weekend at the hotel and the champagne bar was a fantastic serendipitous add-on. And I'm in love with Sara.

What a wonderful place! It is really luxurious and comfortable and one of those places you could hang out all night. I have been twice (to eat), sat in a booth for dinner and at a cafe table for breakfast, both experiences were really great! The food is such that you can keep coming back, and you can tell this place is designed and built to last! Loved it, great for dates, too.. I recommend the "Niagara" drink or the "Sweet Marie" :)

The food is such that you can keep coming back, and you can tell this place is designed and built to last! Loved it, great for dates, too.. I recommend the "Niagara" drink or the "Sweet Marie" :)

Pros: Atmosphere, Ribs, Desserts

.

So pleased to have this restaurant in the neighborhood. Finally, somewhere to eat that puts out great food in a grown-up yet cozy ambience.

Pros: Desserts, Music, Great Crowd

this place is special and fantastic, the food is original and fairly priced and the place is just dripping with romance, while only open two weeks , it is showing early signs of brilliance, the combo of psaltis and Zakarian is a knockout.

Pros: warm , freindly, delicious

Cons: can get crowded

.

The space is pretty but it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The menu was limited (and bizarre: soft boiled eggs?) and the service was horrendous. If the staff learns to serve in a timely fashion, perhaps it will become more tolerable. The neighborhood sorely needs a place like Cafe at Country.
