I brought three items to this store in November. By early February, I had been paid for only 2 of the 3 items. I emailed the store on Feb 6 and received a reply that management will look into the matter and get back to me. After not getting a reply, I went to the store on Feb 21 and spoke with Antoine on the front desk. He said I was "lucky" that I had been paid for 2 of the 3 items because many people had not been paid due to a change in management. He then looked up the item, a vintage Singer sewing machine, and said it had not been sold. He asked me if I wanted it back and I said yes. He then called the guy working with the stock and this person said the item had been shipped by him just a few days earlier!! Antoine said he couldn't find it in the database which is odd because to what address was it mailed. He then said he would tell the owner to send me $48 that same day. Once again, I have no idea where this figure came from. I waited one week and called the store on 2/27 because I did not get a check. Antoine answered the phone and said the owner was out to lunch and would call me back. I called again on 3/2 because no one had called me and Antoine hung up on me after saying the owner was out to lunch. I called him back and he said he'd tell the owner I had called. It's obvious that the owner is 1)not going to call me back or 2)pay me. I wonder how many other people have trouble with this store--especially if the store's own staff says customers are "lucky" if they've been paid. I filed a complaint with the BBB/NYC.

Cons: Store does not pay you for the items it sells on your behalf; staff is rude; store is disorganized
