This guy calls me out of the blue. He tries to sell me a 1904 $20 Gold coin in MS64+ CAC for $2850. The coin is only worth $2010. And I asked him what an MS65 would go for. He said it was a $10,000 dollar coin. As I look it up, its only a $3800. So what he was trying to do was get $2850 for a coin worth about $2050. The CAC sticker is only a $40 dollar sticker. This is a very common coin. The population on an MS64 is 32,142. And in MS64+, its 788. And in MS65, its 4,649. So do I want to be buying common gold coins for sky high prices? NO. And then he tries to sell me Morgan dollars. He says they are in BU condition. But, who knows what they are. No pictures or anything. He wants $32 dollars each. They go for about $31 to $32 dollars each. And thats retail. However, I would not think that he had them in BU. More like AU. And I asked this guy for an email. And he told me that he was having a frustrating day. Earlier 3 people asked him for an email and pictures. But, 2 of them only wanted to get off the phone, and werent really interested in the coin. Im thinking, SO WHAT? They didnt want the coin and wanted to get off the phone because you are calling them out of no where. Well, how do you sell a coin without pictures? This tactic was designed to get them to buy the coin without being able to do any research or homework. They even try to get you to send a check. DO NOT HAND YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THEM. These is a complete scam, and I know what Im looking at. They wont be selling you anything expensive. And not to mention, this guy is not even knowledgeable on coins. Hes just a salesman. I could tell because he couldnt answer any other question besides what he recited. He didnt know what the book value was for the coin in MS65. He didnt know the population. He didnt know the CAC population. He didnt know the mintage of the coin. And any other basic stuff about the $2850 dollar coin he was trying to sell. Im sorry, but this company will net alot of money at the end of the year. It will all be from people who got suckered into paying $4000 for a $2500 dollar coin. DONT BE ONE OF THEM. COIN SCAM COMPANY!!!

Just got a call from Nick out of the blue. I've never heard of Premier Coin before and wanted a little info about the company prior to a blind purchase. When asked if he had a web site he stated, ' Yeah..a little one I guess for what it's worth'. I then asked for the address and he said 'I guess premiercoin.com or something like that'.

During this conversation he tried to change my questions to his...Do you collect gold? How about silver? We have PF Franklins for so much, but you have to buy 50. I said 50? Then he said he could get me the same price for only two.

I again told him I've never heard about his company and could he please tell me a little about it before I make a purchase of a coin unseen. He became irradiated and said he had better things to do. He hung up right after I told him ok, please take my number off the list.

I have never heard of these people or bought from them, but the minute and a half conversation I had with Nick tells me that I would never buy anything from them.

He was fast talking, deal making, secretive salesman. Not the people I would ever deal with. I even believe the other reviews may be bogus.

DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU CAN SEE THE COIN. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE FROM SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW EVEN IF HE SAYS THERE IS.

I delt with a gentleman by the name of nick alfano on two seperate occasions. He was very helpful and delivered exactly what he told me he was going to. I picked up on a roll of gem proof washington quarters and then a few weeks later i picked up a 1911 gold indian . Very impressed with both pieces. Will definately be doing business with him again in the near future. Its nice to find a great company with a salesman I can trust. Thanks Nick!

I met with Chris and Rob to Buy Coins In Person. I bought some Cival War gold. The specimens were even better than were explained to me on the phone. The prices were very fair and their knowledge about numismatics was impressive. I intend to complete my collection and I will give these guys 1st shot to do that. I read some of these other reviews and I see that there must be alot of idiots out there a company has to deal with. Thanks again for some great coins.
