.

A close friend and business associate of mine booked an appointment for me and a client to do an informal business meeting here, while enjoying a 'full service' treatment. Pool table, bar, lounge...seemed like a great idea.
We had some difficulty finding the place so we called ahead to let them know we were a little lost but would be there shortly. When we arrived and apologized for our tardiness the welcome was nonchalant and frosty, and the girl behind the front desk took pains to point out that we were actually '23' minutes late (for 2 'full service' treatments which I assume are not cheap and probably last 1-2 hours minimum).
I interpreted her defensiveness as a sign that she had probably given one of our appointments away to a 'walk-in' customer, and was now trying to defend this decision. As we stood awkwardly in the foyer waiting for the team to work out what should happen next (no management to be seen) a guy came over and offered us drinks. I ordered water and my client a beer, but the drinks never came. Without even managing to be pleasant about it, the girl suggested that one of us did the treatment while the other wait, or that perhaps we should come back again another day...not what we needed to hear, and certainly not what I expected from this level of establishment.
We conducted our meeting over lunch instead at The Odeon nearby. Now, call me old-fashioned but thats what I call Full Service!!!! Different class altogether, although, they don't do hot towel at Odeon. Lol.
