It's the worst shipping experience I ever had, but the least rating I can give here is 1 star, which I am not willing to. They deserve much lower than that. I shipped my package from this store and the guy who was working on it took his own sweet time to do multi tasking. My receipt shows the name of the guy as Gabriel. Generally with a belief that they do deliver the stuff on time I do not insure the packages, but this time I somehow went ahead to insure it, but not its actual worth, but a bit lower amount just to be on the safer ground. And on the estimated delivery date when I had tracked the package it showed that they had received the shipping information, but yet waiting for the package to be received at the origin facility. I had delivered the package myself and this is what it shows in the tracking. And one more thing I had to add, I had to get that items packed at the store in a box, as I didn't have the appropriate box that fits for my items. They said they are going to pack it and send it. I waited for them to pack it, but they said it will be taked care of and I do not need to wait. But I thought to stay and they were taking their own time to get onto it....so I thought as I had insured I should not be worried as they would deliver it. But all my assumptions had been proved wrong. So once I had saw the tracking update I rushed to the store and they track it on their system and says it shows on their system that it is out for delivery, and when i question it doesn't show me the same, they reply but it does on our system. And as i started to ask more questions they said contact 800-PICK-UPS. They just didn't want to handle the questions. When I contacted the customer support for couple of days and they had confirmed that they would start an investigation. After the time frame said for the investigation has been completed, I was told to contact the UPS store from where I shipped for the conclusion as it is a franchisee. When I contact them they ask to contact some other person, who handles these issues. When I tried to reach them they say she (Nancy) has already left at 4:00 PM, as her work hours are 8 hours a day and leaves at 4:00 PM. So when I tried on the next day they say they don't open the store before 9:00 AM and Nancy only comes in at 10:30 AM. Look at the work ethics they have 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM is 8 hours shift. So I had to reach her back after 10:30 AM and she says as per the details I had insured the package for $200 only, so I would get only the $200. But the package is worth $300-$400 (as I do not remember the exact figures), and I had mentioned these details to the agent who opened the investigation, and they told if the package is lost I would get the amount that I had stated at the time of the investigation. Now she says its only $200 I get as I had insured only for that much. Then I asked her what about the shipping charges, she said you might LIKELY receive it, which means she is not even sure of it. Their responses are very naive. And based on this I have lost a lot both money and time. I had also asked that if I had not insured the package, I would not even receive that amount, and she said you would only receive $100 if you had not insured and thats the policy. So look at the way they handle their business, you have to trust and risk your packages with these clowns. The bottom line I would never ever ship from these guys, and to that matter I might not ship with UPS ever again.
