We went to angelo's a few days ago to have some of their faboulous pizza. The place was kind of busy, but there were still many tables left. We sat upstairs on the firs table that had a sofa. All the time , we had to speak over the manager (blond lady) screaming at the staff. Sometimes she spoke engish with some heavy accent, sometimes in some different language. The staff looked unhappy and stressed (I don' t blame them, I would be too). The lady was sendind different servers to our table, even though we were completely fine with our original server. The whole situation was very chaotic. I have never seen the manager so unwelcoming and pushy. We felt the tense atmosphere and we did not stay long, even though we originally planed to have some desserts. I just can not understand how come a great place like this, with this incredible food, has such a horrific manager.

Pros: good food

I cannot recommend Angelos enough. It is by far my favorite pizza place in New York and I've tried plenty! The staff are the nicest you could possibly meet, especially the Boss Lady who could not be more attentive and dedicated to making the customer happy. Their menu has lots to offer and the prices are reasonable too .Also, make sure to try their tiramisu- it's to die for!
Pros: great food & service
Cons: none!

Pros: pizza, pizza, pizza...

Not only did we get charged for something we didn't order, when I checked my bank statement a couple days later, they charged me more than what I signed for. The waitress was totally rude and the manager was even less helpful. They tried to charge us 17% gratuity. I told her to take it off and she gave me a BS excuse about "tips are like presents, it's nice to give them to people." I wanted to give her a swift kick as a present. I will NEVER go back and I will tell anyone that goes to NYC to avoid this place.

Pros: Food

Cons: People working there, and the manager!
