Absolutely fun time here. D&B on 42nd Street would always be in my memories; spent a lot of time with my girlfriend at this restaurant when she was an undergrad and I was now starting grad school. Burgers are awesome, deserts are unbelievebly delicious and for a good price. But their creme de la creme HAS to be the chicken alfredo; a lot of food for a good price and very filling. You don't need appetizers for some of these meals. And what do you do right after? Go play games of course! Stereotypical arcade games but if you have a loved one or a group of people, it makes for a great evening. The atmosphere was really nice especially the dimly lit room with stained glass; modern yet with an antique feel. Keep up the standards guys!

Dave and busters is a really great place to enjoy with your friends. I always go there and its a blast, deff a place worth visiting. UNFORTUNATELY the last time i went, this very RUDE employee, LENNY, was just plain ridiculous, on west 42nd st. He was sooo full of himself and was laughin and fooling around with his buddy on the JOB. He had an attitude and everyone was looking at him like whats his problem?? IDK how they HIRED him, but everyone else I met was great, as long as you DONT run into him, your good. Dont want your night ruined.

A sports bar, restaurant and arcade in one! If there's a wait for a table, you won't be bored for a minute since you can spend your time playing games and winning tickets. The restaurant service is shoddy, as it can sometimes take quite a while to get your food. When you order a dish eligible for the Power Combo you get a $10 game card, but know they automatically charge 18% gratuity on it. I recommend the veggie burger with cheese or the chicken tenders. You need to be 21 to enter, but if you're 25 or older you can bring in someone any age.

Went there with a few co-workers. We ordered drinks when we sat down. The dirnks came 30 minutes later.
It took us 45 minutes to get our food. The food arrived at our table in a very rare combination both burned as well as cold.
I'm a very easy guy to please but that was quite possibly the second worst burger I ever had.
Best bet, eat at Applebee's and then go to play.

This is a really cool place to go. The drinks are cheap being that your in the city. The only complaint I have is that I went with my five friends well over 21 but under 24 and we were with two 18 year olds. The wierdo at the door was telling us that they couldn't let them in we needed to be 25 mind you they were strollers and 5 year olds running around, long story short I asked to speak with the manager and they let us in. The secruity guy at the door was being extra. But other than that I had a really good time and the food was awesome

We just had a birthday party on Saturday in one of the private rooms for 15 kids (6-7 year old) and 15 adults and given that we are a frequent visitors during regular days here is what we can tell you:

1. Place was extremely overcrowded

2. Extremely noisy

3. Even though we booked through special events coordinator, there was no coordination inside at all. Make sure you meet your guests at the entrance since some of our guests had to wait in a 40min line and then none could help them to find were the party was. So they left.

4. Food was fair and alcoholic drinks were overpriced (around $10)

At the end this is a great place to come during the week when its nice and empty and you can get some discounts. NOT a place to have kids birthday party.

Half Price Cocktails in Midtown right after work? With games? This place is terrific!
Great service! You can't beat their finger foods! Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Fried pickles and Mini Burgers, yum! An after work must! (if you have the next day off try try the "Walk the Plank" cocktail!)

I went here to play a few games and have some drinks and I was appalled at everything. A) It's too small/not enough games and B)the people who go to D&B are trashy beyond belief. I was really disappointed and will never return again.

All the people that say the food here is good must be from some podunk town and here in NYC on vacation. I've lived here for nearly a decade and was hungry after a movie. Thought we'd grab some chow here since everywhere else was closed. The food was absolutely disgusting, the fries weren't even done, chicken wings were half-assed and the pasta chicken parm was like eating cardboard. If you wanna get drunk and play a few arcade games then maybe it's ok but DON"T EVER COME HERE FOR THE FOOD!!! There are FAR BETTER PLACES in this city for food that are similarly priced. I'm surprised they actually have the nerve to serve such lousy food at such riduculous prices.

Pure and simple, D&Bs is a blast. Whoever came up with the idea of having a bar and restaurant in proximity to 100's of video games is pure genius. I've brought many of my friends there after work to have a few drinks and play games, and I think its our favorite place to go. The drinks, while not cheap (think $8 for for mixed drinks, more for martinis), are fantastic and made with TLC by bartenders who actually know what they're doing- and they care enough to ask if you like it!! Here are three things I recommend:

1.Goldfingers platter w/ the $10 Play Card
2. Apple Martini w/ sugar rim
3. Harvey Wallbanger
4. LONG ISLANDS!!

The bartenders and staff are beyond measure- particularly Dave & Teddy at the midway bar, the 2 Adams in the restaurant, and Amy who sometimes works the door. The people at D&Bs always take care of you, and there is NO stuffy air about this place at all- its all fun and games; literally. I go almost every week, and its always a blast.

dave and busters is a really fun place to play.
the games that are included in this extremely fun place are very fun and not to hard to handle for younger kids.

i would reccommend this place to many familys That have kids because i know that everyone in that entire family will be thrilled with the excitment of dave and busters.

After a so-so overpriced meal at their eatery, I stepped into the kiddy play area. I never realized video games were so expensive. It seemed like I woul be paying at least a buck a pop, so I didn't even buy a card. The atmosphere reminded me of the chintzy arcades of the 80s.

My fiance and I were enjoying family gathering at Dave & Buster's. Food was good but the service was little bit slow. Over all, I was happy to see my family in NYC (My fiance and I are from Houston, Texas). It's a fun place for family gathering.

Man, this place is spendy. The games go so quick and the drinks go even faster. Yet its a nice alternative to those folks who are searching for something different and what is more different than a bar with arcade games with gourmet TGIF quality food? Okay, don't answer that but most D&B places are fun.

I went to Dave and Buster's with a friend last Friday and we enjoyed ourselves. The place didn't start getting crowded until about 6pm. Our bartender Brian hooked our drinks up and the appetizers were scrumptous. Joseph was another guy that worked with the staff and very pleasant. Happy hours is a must 4-7, u can't beat it. We didn't get to play any games but maybe next time.

A mini, overpriced Casino. When you buy the card to play the games they charge 3 bucks for a lousy piece of plastic. I went to spend 5 bucks with my kid and only wound up having 2. Cheap, cheap and I will never be back.
Plus the video games are way overpriced.

Finally, a D&B in the city. I went this past weekend with a group and had a great experience. We were seated promptly, no wait. They did stop and ask for I.D. So if you look young be prepared to be stopped. The service was great well worth leaving a large tip. Tables are not on top of each other good amount of space. Decor is okay - Keep in mind this is a tourist location. Food was good not great but I have nothing to complain about.

I've been here about 5-6 times and didn't have to pay a cover charge. The first time I went, I just wanted to check out the layout and didn't have to pay a thing. Since I work right down the block my co-workers and I go for lunch and it usually isn't crowded around then but after-work there were a lot more kids. We couldn't really enjoy ourselves since alot of the games were taken. The drinks were a little overpriced, I paid $11.50 for one drink and $7.50 for another (the prices aren't listed). The serives is great, the staff comes to you; wherever you go, they go and bring you your order. The staff are young and friendly, the games are great, and I enjoy myself everytime I go.

I went to Dave and Busters with a friend a I feel that the cover charge is completely unecessary. I went back during the day on Saturday and we had a great time. The service was very good, the food, unremarkable but fine as "pub grub" goes. The specialty drinks are handled with care but if you want a regular mixed drink stick with rum and coke or some derivative (7 and 7), etc....

The game room was the highlight of our visit. The games are fun and the staff really helpful when it comes to figuring it all out. We really had a blast and I would recommend it if playing games will be the most important part of your visit. ENJOY!
