I recently purchased a Honda Accord at John Holtz Honda. I had such a pleasurable experience from the moment I walked into the dealership. The receptionist greeted me right away and directed me to a salesperson who could further assist me. I was than introduced to Gary Wurth who exceeded my expectations. He took the time to talk about the vehicle with me, take me on a test drive and showed me all the different features the Accord had. He made me feel comfortable with him immediately. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time and never gave me pressure to make a quick decision. He discussed the different finance options I had and answered all my the questions before I made my final decision. I was really impressed with the overall experience and with everyone who helped me at John Holtz Honda. I plan on buying my next vehicle at John Holtz and would recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a Honda!

My wife and I just purchased a Honda CR-V from John Holtz and truly had a great experience. As a salesperson, Geoff McKeown was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, accommodating and very personable. He made the entire process very easy from the sale of the car to the day we got to take it home. He even took the time to show my wife and I all the features in the vehicle and answered any questions we had. I was in the market for a new vehicle and a co-worker of mine recommended that I go to John Holtz Honda. As soon as I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by their friendly staff and was introduced to Gary Wurth, a sales advisor at John Holtz Honda. Gary was very efficient, knowledgeable and was not pushy at all. He made the entire car buying experience enjoyable for me, which was very unexpected. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership, so I walked in with a little hesitation and with my guard up. Gary took the time to talk to me about what I was looking for and what budget I was working with. He was very patient with me while I made my decision and made himself available if I had any questions or concerns. He was able to find the perfect vehicle for my needs. He even introduced me to the sales manager, Kevin Dillon, as well as John Holtz. John took the time to talk to me about what I was looking for in my next vehicle and even told me about his experience driving the Honda CR-V.

When I look delivery of my new CR-V, Gary took the time to go over the features of my new car and made sure I was comfortable with it all before I drove away from the dealership. I will be purchasing my next vehicle at John Holtz Honda and I plan on recommending my friends and family to the dealership as well. They truly valued my business and the customer service we have received always makes us feel welcomed.

John Holtz Honda Service is tremendous. There's never a waiting list or By Appointment Only. Just drive in and tell them what you need done. The rest they take care of. The person who wrote that nobody was there didn't drive into John Holtz Honda in Rochester NY. I don't know where they got their service done but in my Long association with John Holtz... Their service organization has always been Top Notch, I have never been turned down for service nor have I ever left the repair shop without having my vehicle repaired to my satisfaction and I'm picky. They are fair and very customer oriented. They take the time to make sure your car is repaired correctly and you are 100% satisfied. It doesn't get any better than this. Go to John Holtz Honda for repair... You'll thank me later.

Let me say that if I could have zero Star I would. Here is why

I have heard SOoO Much about John Holtz Honda and I was very excited to take my Honda in today. I arrived at 1:00 pm on Friday. No one was there and no one came out to greet me. I don't mean to sound like a brat I just mean there wasn't any instruction, sign or people to direct you where to go. After about 5 mins a man walk by and signal me with his index finger (like a dog) to come to their 'service/reception' area. As I walk in no one acknowledge that I was there and no it was not because it was busy. There was two people behind the counter and one lady before me. The man finally ask what can he helps me with. I approach him and said I need an oil change and my engine check out because it has simply died on me while I was stopping in traffic. Before even hear me out he simply said why our schedule we can't accommodate that and you will need to make an appointment. I told him that I am nervous about driving because I don't want it to die on the highway and offer to leave the car over night. He simply shook his head and said he is "unsure" about tomorrow schedule either and I will have to come back on Monday. I told him I am sorry I have to work on Monday and my schedule is crazy. He simply shrugs his shoulder.

Now I realized that Holtz is the biggest Honda dealer in Rochester but are they really doing THAT well to be able to turn down customer? I understand if they are busy but he could at least mutter up an apology or something more gracious than a shrug. But I can't imagine a place that is so busy that they can't perform a oil change and check the engine in over 1 and a half day.

It is a shame though because I am in a market for a new Honda because my current one is been acting funny. I would have buy a new one if they checked my engine and quote me more than $600 in repair.

Overall, as a new customer I am not only not impress I am highly disappointed. I won't be coming back to this dealership and needless to say I won't be purchasing my new Honda at this dealership. What good are all the promises if you can't get good servicing for your Honda

Everytime I want a car I go to John Holtz and look for my salesman Ken Strimple! He is easy to work with, honest and very informative. He knows exactly what he is talking about and spends the time with you to help you make the best choice! He has sold cars to myself, my mom and my sister, we absolutely love him! He calls to check up on us from time to time even now!
