Great place for a facial!

by villagepeople

I recently had an IS Clinical Facial with Jillian and I left the spa with an amazing glow. I swear, my skin looked about ten years younger and it felt cleaner, fresher, smoother, and refreshed. Jillian really knows her stuff !
The spa is a soothing place and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The fact that the spa is supervised by a doctor really shows in the more advanced and thorough services they provide.
I will be back ! Very pleased with the facial and the results. Jillian also introduced me to the IS line which is amazing. Again, my skin looks better than it has in years!

Pros: Excellent facial w/attentive professional staff

Cons: none!

great service

by def456

Visiting new york on a quick trip, my friends took me to Soho for some shopping. We decided to walk down a quiet street to get away from the huge crowds on Broadway and came across this spa. Luckily they took walk-ins and I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful this place is. I had one of their specials, a deep pore cleansing facial and my friend had a massage. We didn't want to leave. I'm definitely going back next time I'm in town. Look for it on Crosby...between spring and broome. Ladies its 2 doors down from bloomies!

Pros: friendly staff, located on a quiet street

Great medical pedicure and bikini wax!

by sohomom

I am now a regular for the medical pedicure with Marcela - a professional who is really committed to her work and her clients' experience. She is professional, calming, thorough, meticulous, and you never feel rushed or like you are a number. It is truly a stress relieving get away and my feet emerge soft and lovely. I added on a bikini wax last time - almost brazilian I'll call it -- my first to that extent - and again, I give Marcella an A+. The waxing room is spacious and clean - Marcella once again is extremely professional and makes you feel comfortable. The strawberry hard wax was used on the bikini - very little pain and redness - with great results. My hubby is happy with the results too !

Pros: Great work, clean, Marcella is the best

very relaxing

by bxqueen898

My husband gave me a gift certificate for valentine's day for a Mezzage and a Micro Derm Peel. I was scared at first because I never had this treatment, but my skin felt so soft after the micro derm. I didn't want the massage to end! I am definitely going back for my birthday.

Pros: very professional

I have lived in soho for 7 years and didn't even know about the spa until I heard about it from my neighbor. I was very happy with my deep tissue massage and will definitely be going back for more. It was a great massage and so close to home!

VERY NICE SPA

by happyclient2008

I like to get my waxing. I have been to countless locations and been through hell more times than I care to remember and Marcela is by far the best I've ever been to. She is friendly, professional, funny and might I add damn good at her job. Other seem to just want you in and out quickly, not caring about your threshold for pain. Marcela , she'll make sure you're comfortable and not make you squirm. I used to have a problem with breakout after waxing, but that hasn't happened once since I' haven been seeing Marcela . Regardless of all the queries I've made to other groomers, she seems to be the only one who gets it right. I can not say enough about Mezzanine Spa. The medical pedicure was so relax my feet are very soft and smooth The location is convenient .BIG ROOMS NICE MUSIC GOOD WAXING AND MEDICAL PEDICURE.

medical pedicure and brazilian wax best exp. ever

by Colorsearch

This is the only place I would go for a Brazilian bikini wax in the city.. Brazilian's cost $70 here, but I don't care if some think that's pricey. You pay for what you get. One of my girlfriends pays $23 for her Brazilian , I'm scared to go there. She can't even remember if they wear gloves while doing her wax.!!!! Mezzanine Spa is clean, gloves are worn, Don't Double Dip the wax is a special, chocolate hard wax .
Marcella is the best. Oh the medical pedicure is very good to . My feet are very soft now and no callus. Very good exp.

Best brazilian with chocolate wax.

by martha2007

I usually get my brazilian's at Chill Spa on 33rd and Park until they ripped my skin off! I was red and bruised for days. My skin was so irritated, I had to skip my beach getaway. Then my friend told me about the brazilian chocolate wax at the Mezzanine. Naturally, I was hesitant but so happy I did. Marcela was great! She did it in half the time and ladies...absolutely no pain! With the yummy scent of the chocolate, I didnt even realize she had finished. Absolutely loved it!

Pros: it smells divine

Best spa in experience in NYC

by spaaddict08

Getting married in NYC is hectic as it is, so when my girls decided to throw my bachelorette party at the Mezzanine spa, I was ecstatic. I had a wonderful aromatherapy facial and one of the best massages I've ever had. Not to mention an incredible medical pedi and mani that still have my nails immaculate. I can't wait to go back. All of my friends had wonderful things to say about their therapists. Well worth the trip!

Pros: great ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff

Cons: you lose track of time

best medical pedicure and brazilian wax

by marcelacor

Great Brazilian bikini wax with the wax tech
She was very calming especially since this was my first time in a few years.
She was fast and did a great job! She use chocolate hard wax . I was shocked how easy and fairly painless it was(considering where you are waxing). I would highly recommend this Spa, I Also Love the Medical Pedicure.
I will now be a regular. Thank you! Mezzanine Spa

Best spa in NYC

by michiepoo

I just had the best experience at the Mezzanine Spa. My wonderful boyfriend treated me to a relaxing Message, facial, and a medical pedicure. The proffesional staff and enviroment made it easy to relax, and enjoy myself. I enjoyed the services so much, i bought several gift certificates for Mothers day, and decided to treat myself by booking another appointment for next week. Conviently located in Soho, The Mezzanine Spa is easy to get to. I've been to many spa's and The Mezzanine Spa is by far my favorite

Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, super nice staff, many great serviced available

Mezz. Spa, great workers! Excellent results!

by SophieLo

I use to be a regular client at the Mezzanine Spa with Maria but unfortunately she left, however I went back not two weeks ago and to my suprise she is once more back! I had the most comfortable and well-made medical pedicure ever, and I'm happy to hear my pedicurist is back on the job.

*I am in no way related to Maria, I just enjoy receiving excellent service for my money.

Pros: Excellent staff, very pleasant and down-to-earth

Cons: Can't think of any.

Medical Pedicure

by tonyz47

I just had the best medical pedicure. The staff at the Mezzanine are so polite and charming. I was treated with care and attention. The pedicure TABLE, yes Table reclined to my comfort and the technician made sure of that; I fell asleep. They told me of their Tuesday 20% off special this summer '07 " WOW " - so i plan to sample of their treatments.

Its on the most calming block - Crosby St - between Spring and Broome.

Go for it...

Pros: great location - Quit block

thank you mom

by arijoc

as a teen i am always a little shy and afraid of these experiences but the Mezzanine Spa made me feel so good and comfortable. it was a present from my mom. but it was not bubble gummy there, it was sophisticated so i did not feel treated like a kid, but like an adult savvy new yorker. they even called the doctor in to ask a question and she was sooooooooo great and so nice and so smart. she knew exactly what i had been doing wrong that i could change and worked so well with the staff to clear up my skin which is now beautiful. besides the facial working great, i relaxed more than i have in ages. i am bringing all my friends.

Pros: great doctor director, friendly , available, treatments work!!!!

Cons: wanted to stay all day but had to leave

by woodmusk

great massages... but that's it. Just had their hot stone massage and it wa amazing...

I found the facials so so... They do not have steam room nor a Sauna.

They don't even provide body lotions for clients? What gives?

Pros: great massage, nice staff

Cons: waiting room, no body lotion, no wet/dry sauna

A perfect day

by snowflakebride26

I went to the Mezzanine spa with my mother on 3-18-05. We had a perfect day. We had several treatments scheduled and each one was better than the next. The environment was soothing and relaxing. The staff were all very caring and professional. Everyone took their time and we never felt rushed. The massage by Jason was out of this world. I then went for a custom body scrub and body polish with Vilma. The treatment is awesome, but it's well worth the price just to be able to get into the monsoon shower! The custom facial was so relaxing, I wished I could stay on the soft heated mattress forever. The ancient chiropody pedicure was well worth it and Marie was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I can't wait to go back!

FANTASTIC

by laetizia123

I've been here about 3 times and every time I go its pretty great! I usually treat my mom and she loves it as well. It's very small, intimate and calm. Jason is usually my masseur and he's great! I even got my mom to get a massage from him and she's shy. Once out, she was like it was the best massage ever and I agree!

Pros: Friendly, intimate

My New Favorite

by lissa2k

Went for a massage and a facial and both were the best I've ever had (and I'm a massage addict). Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and no hard sell on the products. I was melting by the time I left.

Pros: Beautiful, Peaceful

Cons: Expensive

simply fantastic

by professor32

A friend recommended this place and I almost didn't go because I already go somewhere else for facials, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. My esthetician was one of the most talented I've ever had! Plus, everyone was nice and I was not "rushed" like at some places. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I'll be switching to this spa.

Pros: attentive, talented, quiet

This place is tucked away on a little side street in soho--I had a massage with Jason and it was the best I'd ever had. Heating pasd were used, and it was easy to drift into another world! The waiting area is dimly lit and peaceful, if a little small. I highly recommend the spa.

Pros: skilled therapists, tranquil atmosphere, professional

Cons: small, no steam room
