Loved the food. Everything we had for lunch (party of f4) was just delicous, including appetizer called, I believe, Shrimpcargot. SO good.

The waiter was a real professional, and made great suggestions.

The restrooms - best we saw in NYC in a 7 day stay - clean, classy, nicely appointed.

The hostess - a complete nightmare. First, we asked for a booth next to a window. She said 'that section is closed'. Then, after seating us, allowed the next party, 3 ppl, to have a booth near window.

Never mind, we liked the food, went back 2 days later for breakfast. Walked in - saw her - she saw us and looked down. It was 11:15 a.m. on the dot.

We asked to be seated - party of 4. Her reply "Breakfsat is over at 11, lunch doesn't start until 11:30". Made no attempt to seat us; offer a water or menus, nothing. So are we to assume that this restaurant is doing so well, they can ignore all -comers between 11 and 11:30 a.m.? Apparently so.

We went across the street, to the very diverse food court at Grand Central Station; all had a choice to get food from different vendors; and were all pleased with our food and our service.

This young lady needs more training. Management, take note. I run an award-winning hotel. This kind of service is unacceptable any way you slice it.

Busy with business people and tourists, right across the street from Grand Central. Cool location, under the Park Avenue overpass, but definitely overpriced for average food & drink. Claims to be the "busiest and best breakfast" in NYC, but I don't buy that on either claim.

I love the location of this place, right across from Grand Central. Great views and people watching. Food is so so and definitely overpriced but it is a nice civilized place to have a business lunch and a glass of wine.

Short wait and great food. The mimosas are great and the eggs are amazing. I love this place and it is deceiving on how big it is. Try the pancakes and the hash browns and you wont be disappointed!

A lot of business people and tourists here. The prices are steep for the kind of restaurant it is, I would go to Capital Grill if I really wanted to spend a lot.

Pros: Straightforward

Cons: Expensive!

We complained to Katie (blonde), the indoor bar "manager", about the horrible service... she gave us our dinner and drinks for free.... (over $200's). thanks katie!!!

Pros: Close to Grand Central, People Watching

Cons: Wait Staff is slow and rude!! C'mon people this is Grand Central Terminal.... not Park Avenue

The only reason to eat at this place is because you're at Grand Central and feel like being a tourist, or just don't feel like going anywhere else. The food is fine - I had a Cobb salad. It tasted a lot like the Cobb salads that I've had at other places. However, it cost a lot more than those Cobb salads did. Why did it cost so much more? Probably because I was seated steps away from Grand Central, one of the major tourist destinations in New York. With its big green letters, this too is a tourist stop.

The food is fine, but that's about it.

Great location, decent food, but the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. This is a great looking restaurant and the food was fine, but I have had better service at a McDonald's drive through. Had it been busy I could have understood, but a quiet late morning breakfast? It was so bad we nearly had to leave without paying as we could not get anyone's attention even to get the check - _finally_ a busser came and he was kind enough to track the server down.

Pros: Location, Architecture

Cons: Service

.

The design of the restaurant is so cozy, also very pretty. The prices were a bit high for dinner and there is not that much selection but the service was pretty decent. I would definitely come back, probably for the breakfast which they advertise as being very good.
