I was shocked to find on my most recent trip to NYC that it took me 12 blocks to find a bagel shop. Is this the consequence of the anti-carb revolution? I was incredibly pleased to find Gramercy--classic NYC bagels, wide variety of cream cheeses (including light), and from the looks of it also a great place for a sandwich or sweet bakery item.
