5 Stars: The Best Thai food in New York!! (by Bridgetann)

I honestly believe Thai Elephant has the best Thai food in the City. In a city filled with Thai restaurants that is saying a lot!!! But it is true the food is delicious!! I came here with a friend about three months ago and I have come back several times since. It has been consistently amazing!! As if the delectable food is not enough the staff is probably the sweetest staff of any restaurant I have ever been to!! They are so friendly and kind. You can truly tell they are good people who love their restaurant and their customers!! I love this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 Stars: Amazing Place For everything! (by xKaitlynx)

This place is one of my favorite places in the world! The elephants hanging all over the place brings me closer to the aroma of the mouth-watering food. I love everything about it and it has to be the most authentic Thai food in New York. Everything is amazing! The service, the decor and espicially the fast delivery! No complains whatsoever!

5 Stars: Best Thai Food in Queens (by Hartadinata)

Thai Elephant has definetley been one of the best thai food I have ever tasted. It has the flavor of authenticity such as the Pad Thai was made so that every bite was flavorful; simmilarly found in Bankgkok. The staff were very polite and friendly, however the best part was the amazing food. The curry puffs were so juicy and delicious. Then there was the Pad Thai which was undoubtly excellent and for dessert,. Fried Icecream!

5 Stars: Excellent Thai in Astoria with stellar service! (by ciaolynn)

There is most certainly an unspoken rival between Thai Elephant and Wave Thai as the restaurants are on the same block, just a few store fronts down from each other. However, Thai Elephant has the most wonderful staff--they are friendly and polite and timely--and the food is delicious authentic Thai. I was tired of witnessing fights among the staff and forgotten orders and endless waits for the bill at Wave Thai and found Thai Elephant to be my new favorite go-to Thai restaurant in Astoria. Thai Elephant has hands down the best food and service!

4 Stars: Great spring rolls, very good service and prices (by beckstergirl)

Everyone has taken their sides in the Thai Elephant vs. Wave Thai debate. Obviously I've chosen Thai Elephant. The service is wonderful, the delivery is quick, prices are good, and so far I haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious. My favorites are the crispy spring rolls and the sweet and sour chicken. I order from here regularly

5 Stars: Great Friendly Service (by chefatheart)

The first time my husband and I ate there was after a long day of moving and our first night in Astoria. The food was great, and the waitstaff was friendly and gracious. The food is standard Thai, but they have some great specialty dishes such as duck and red snapper - and if you're in the mood for a standard, the pad thai isn't bad at all. Since then, we've been there several times and ordered in quite a bit. Wave Thai down the block might look hip, but keep walking a few storefronts down for a great meal - it will be less crowded, and the staff can't beat.
