This is too awesome for me. If I had money and saw Pinkberry, I would try to buy as much as I can. Peace out! If you never ate this FROZEN YOGURT, you better be there or Chuck Norris will get you!!!!!

I just went into pinkberry's for the first time. first of all the weighing thing was obnoxious. and yeah, it tasted ok but seriously, it was 5.90 for a SMALL! who can afford that? people are out of work in droves and I just spent 6 bucks on a couple of ounces of yogurt?!?!? I couldn't stop thinking that..definitely a company that is blatantly ripping people off.

Pinkberry is the best! The have so many fun and interesting topping choices. The prices do tend to be a little pricer than others but their yougurt is well worth it. Every time I leave Pinkberry, I am always stopped by tourists asking for directions so be ready. All in all, this is a must stop for anyone looking for a quick and healthy snack.

Pros: your choice of almost anything on a yougrt

Cons: prices

As I walked away from pinkberry, I had about 2-3 groups of tourists notice my cup and ask me for directions to pinkberry. I personally love the yogurt but it's not for everyone - had a few friends tell me they just don't get it. Try it for yourself - if you don't love it, try a few other options like Red Mango. There are so many of these places popping up everywhere. In brooklyn there is Blue Mango, Yogo Monster, and Oki just to a name a few.

Pinkberry seems to be one of those things everyone either LOVES or HATES. I personally love it, but you have to be prepared for YOGURT, not an ice cream imitation, a la Tasti D Lite or your typical "frozen yogurt" from the grocery store. Pinkberry IS, and appropriately, tastes like a creamy, cold, delicious yogurt. I usually get it with lots of fruit toppings as a sort of meal replacement, and it's awesome. It's not super-sweet and I don't treat it as a dessert (I find it too filling for an after-meal thing anyway), but it's great for a pre-workout snack, a light breakfast, and is much healthier than a frappuccino for a little cold treat on a warm day. Also, the staff at every pinkberry I've been to - especially the 59th street and 14h street locations - have been really upbeat and friendly. It's a whole enjoyable package, and Red Mango just doesn't compare.

The yogurt is REALLY good and I'm all about the fresh fruit. Don't recommend the shaved ice though...

If the cup came filled with mainly fruit or toppings and just a little bit of yogurt, it MIGHT be okay. Seriously, I don't understand the obsession with this place. I'm a 23-year old who moved from sunny California to the Upper East Side. I love trying new restaurants and I saw Pinkberry on the American Express Plum card commercial and figured it must be good. Boy oh boy was I WRONG!! It tastes like it's yogurt that sat in the gutter for two weeks (well, at least what I imagine something would taste like after sitting in the gutter for that long). My friend actually said it best: "It tastes like the frozen yogurt that came out when they first tried to make it." Yuck, yuck, yuck. I really don't understand HOW someone could actually like this. ick!

Pros: the cashiers are very nice

Cons: the most HORRIBLE frozen yogurt EVER

I used to like Pinkberry until I discovered Fruplosion cafe inside the Fresh Fruit Bouquet company on 45th and Madison. They have a better tasting plain frozen yogurt ( Frogurt Brand that Bloomingdales and Saks has) and make parfaits with it, it is amazing! Some combos are the plain frozen yogurt with honey, walnuts and bananas. The do caramel , granola and apples to make like an apple pie parfait. If you like Pinkberry you will LOVE Fruplosion. I am hooked and I went on their website they have locations opening all over the country. One justopened in Flushing too. I had Pinkberry today since I was walking by and it truly is lemony and the Frogurt at Fruplosion has a more yogurt flavor with the tang that plain should have.

I thought Pinkberry's concept was rather stupid- only 2 flavors and some toppings- how do you make a hugely successful business out of that?? However, after trying some this past week I can attest that pinkberry really does taste GREAT and was totally worth the wait. I got some of the regular yogurt with strawberries, raspberries and bananas and the fruit tasted fresh and sweet and overall the experience was really wonderful. My younger brother and baby cousin loved it as well. Great atmosphere and frozen yogurt!

Having heard all the buzz, I was happy to see a Pinkberry pop up in my neighborhood and was excited to try it. I didn't want to wait in the long line, so I held back until a random late evening last week when the line was not down the block. The man in line behind me seemed to be restraining himself from cutting in front of the line to get his "fix". He was recognized by the cashier (whom he refered to as "my savior!") when he ordered his "usual". I was excited to try this wonderfully addictive frozen treat, happy to pay too much for something that I might end up craving, and...yuck! It tastes just like frozen yogurt did when it was brand new in the very early 80s: sour and flavorless. They only have two kinds: plain and green tea flavor. Whoopee. The toppings are the same standards you see anywhere else. I tried to like it, thought maybe it was an acquired taste, but couldn't even finish my serving. Sorry, addicted guy...I threw mine away.

Pros: anything cold on a hot day is a pro

Cons: sour, flavorless, overpriced, long lines

The frozen yogurt reminded me of the taste that frozen yogurt had in the 1970's - sour and an icy texture. This place is quite frankly for the 20 something Paris Hilton lookalike crowd who don't care about the quality of the product but only so they can IM their friends to say that they went to Pinkberry. Save your $$, these shops will be closing once the hype wears off.

My first time visit this week was to humor my cousin who's visiting from out of town and wanted to see what the celeb hype was about. I was super skeptical and am now completely hooked- both flavors were great and fruit and cereal toppings were very fresh. Neither of us knew the concept going in, and apparently the staff was less than thrilled explaining to her how everything worked, but they willingly gave us samples of both flavors and the light, refreshing taste spoke for itself! Don't go for the A/C or plentiful seating as neither exist- we parked it on benches down the block.

While the yogurt may be tasty, the service is horrendous. The staff will make you feel stupid for asking if they have chocolate yogurt (which they don't). My friend actually felt compelled to apologize for asking the flavors that were available once they replied that they only had Vanilla and Green Tea. They will also make a big "stink" out of changing your choice of toppings. Don't waste your time at this fro-yo spot that tries to be trendy, but doesn't succeed. All in all, I would not go back, EVER.

My freind was talking about this place like it's the best thing since sliced bread. I got the green tea with mango and coconut. It was not good. The green tea yogurt was very sour. They were stingy on the toppings. I don't understand why this place has a line going out the door.

A friend and I were willing to wait while the two painfully slow and inefficient employees served up the yogurt we had heard so much about. When we paid $6 and change and finally were served our medium-size yogurt, the CENTER WAS COMPLETELY HOLLOW!!!! The yogurt was swirled around the perimeter of the large cup leaving a gaping hole approx 1.5-2 inches across!!!!! When we complained, we were told the yogurt is weighed and the gaping center hole is intentional. If you don't want to pay $6+ for a half-empty cup, save your money and go to 40 Carrots @ Bloomingdales 59th St. Their yogurt is creamier & smoother, and a full-size portion as well. If you still want to try Pinkberry, AVOID THE GREEN TEA SMOOTHIE at all costs! It's so bad, I choked after taking a sip.

I have to admit I didn't like it at first. Initial thoughts were: what's the big deal? it doesn't taste like anything special. But for some strange reason I grew to like it and I crave for it from time to time. Pricey for frozen yogurt but the taste is refreshing.

cute decor! attentive staff! i taste-tried the regular and green tea flavors... both were good but i thought the regular was better. unlike any other fro-yo place in the city (eg. tasti d)... has it's own unique taste. not creamy but icy, not sweet but tangy... very refreshing and lite! i eventually got the regular flavor with captain crunch and oreo cookie toppings... i'd say, give it a try!

I went to pinkberry with a friend just to try it out. First of all, the location is inconvenient for me, but I decided to try it anyway, just out of curiosity.
I tried the plain flavor frozen yogurt... it was tart, and NOT in a good way. I was unable to finish the whole thing. Anyway, I got heartburn from the extreme sourness. The green tea yogurt was even worse -- it tasted like bitter soil. Also the fruit toppings were not great: mango was so mushy, the strawberries and kiwi were really sour.
Cafe Lalo definitely tastes a lot better, and I'm sticking with them. I don't recommend this place for frozen yogurt.

Supposely Pinkberry is huge in LA. So I went to check it ou. However, I was very disappointed for many reasons. First of all, service is super slow for NYC standard. Their original flavored frozen yougurt taste exactely like Cafe Lalo's (my fav) signiture frozen yogurt. Cafe Lalo's is much better in my opinion. So it doesn't seem that special to me at all. And most important thing is the staff actually weighs each frozen yougurt cup to esact 8oz.! I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Cold Stone, Tasti-delite, Dunkin, and any other ice cream shops in NYC do not do that! I hear that if you get even one ounce more they have to scoop it out to make exactely 8 oz. Oh did I tell you how expensive it is? With the same price you can get a nice meal in K-town.
