Hi all. I've been going to Kneaded Bodyworks for 7 years now and I've recommended it to all my friends. Great group of people and vibe. The girls and I have had many a spa hooky day here.

I have been going to Kneaded Bodyworks for about 5 years so when I saw the last 3 reviews about them closing I was surprised. That awesome thai massage I got last week (she was great) is proof enough for me:) I know that they are in a state of transition trying to open a new location and that the owner had some health issues the past year or so and without the owner to run it, not much happens. I believe the owner is back running it now. Anyone who knows this place knows how much its reputation for awesome massage with terrific customer service is what has set it apart from other places. Just read all the reviews from the past 4 years, very consistent. And I know their policy is to never allow a gift certificate to expire (my sister found one recently i gave her in 2007 and it was honored when she went in for her appointment). I am a big fan of kb, to be sure, but i have sent family, colleagues over the years and all had wonderful experiences. I would recommend to anyone with any questions to just give them a call. They text and twitter now! perhaps management can reply to some of the reviews about their being closed. That would help too.

Pros: appointment flexibility, same day appts

Cons: fewer rooms

Kneaded Bodyworks seemed to have been very much geared towards terrific massages and excellent customer service. I have not been able to get anyone to return my phone calls since December 2008. Does anyone know if it is open anymore, as it was a nice blend of reasonable prices and great service.

Cons: No response for months

Excellent massage. It helps this is right near my house. I'm so glad I walked in one day since I've never been anywhere else since! Excellent service... wonderful.

Had been going there for awhile...booked a massage with the owner Doug for a Saturday, showed up and door to building was boarded up more or less. Tried to call them and go not answer. I followed up with an email too during the week to see what was going on. VERY disappointing because I really liked this place - they should at least advise client if they are out of business.

Booked a Sunday morning massage (11am) more than a week in advance. They instructed me to their temporary space at E 40th, and I was there 15 mins early. Door was locked, and no one answered their main phone line. Waited 25 minutes, called again and left a message, then left. No response, no follow up, no thanks.

I was a little bit dissapointed.I was looking forward to it after reading all the great reviews.
The place is amazing, it was easy to get appointment, friendly front desk. I would not recommend my therapist Gabe( male). He was nice but I did not feel any diffrence after it was over. I was sad and dissapointed.I voiced my concern to the receptionist. She was nice. I will give that place another try with a diffrent therapist

My boyfriend has been pretty stressed out lately and since he's never had a massage, I thought it would be a great idea to get one together. Kneaded Bodyworks had great reviews, so I decided to give it a whirl. The massages were amazing. I had Gabe and my boyfriend had Celia. They definitely worked all of the knots out of my back. I usually leave a massage a little disappointed because they didn't work my back enough, but not this time. Before the massage they asked us questions about what bothers us, etc and they worked on those areas. We will definitely be going back there!

My boyfriend and I went here for a massage this past weekend for Valentine's Day. He is not too big on the day as a holiday but he knows it means a lot to me so he does all the right things. Our masseuses were attentive and pleasant and gave us what we both agree were the best massages of our lives. Having that experience made it all the more special. We never felt rushed even though the masseuse told us about all the couples that were coming for Valentine"s Day. Combining a great massage experience with the Valentine"s celebration was great. We will be back next year as a couple if not sooner separately.

I am from Los Angeles and spent a get-away weekend with my husband in NY while my sister cared for our toddler. We were looking forward to a luxurious, relaxing weekend. The hotel where we were staying was remodeling their spa, so I looked to citysearch for a recommendation for a massage. The overwhelming winner was Kneaded Bodyworks. I made an appointment for 3:30. Around 2:00, I received a call from the office requesting that I change my appointment to 3:45 since they were very busy that day. Since we had a dinner reservation for 5:45 in Tribeca, I requested to keep the 3:30 and they said it was ok. I showed up 15 minutes early, which is typical practice, at least in L.A. I waited 45 minutes to be escorted into my treatment room. The staff was courteous and profuse in their apologies, but the seating was uncomfortable and there wasn't enough light to enjoy reading a magazine. I got a headache trying to read in the dark. They offered to discount the price by 50% which I accepted. The massage was good, but I didn't get a masseuse who could do an excellent scalp massage, which was what I had requested. The masseuse explained that they were very busy that day and since one client had been late, it put everyone else behind. I didn't understand why one client's tardiness should impact any other client, particularly those that arrived on time. Although I received a good massage, the experience could definitely have been better. Also, if the seating had been more comfortable and the lighting better, I probably wouldn't have been so irritated at the long wait. The discount made up for some of my annoyance, but I won't be returning.

I've been to Kneaded Bodyworks twice and I don't think I'll go anywhere else. The customer service is GREAT. My first appointment didn't start on time because my therapist was running late, I wasn't in a rush and was in a good mood that day so it didn't bother me, plus the owner kept in contact with me via cell to let me know how long my wait would be. I'm so glad that I waited because my therapist Amber gave me the MOST AMAZING session ever!!! Looks can definitely be deceiving- though small in stature, her pressure and skill can't be beat! My second session was also heaven. I love the ambiance and everyone seems so friendly. I love Amber and will only go to her...though I'm sure the other therapists are great. I'm currently in school for massage and hope that one day I can provide a service as skilled, relaxing, and client based as Amber has been able to provide me!

Pros: Amber!, beautiful room, customer service, hours, last minute scheduling

Cons: room was chilly, but I was given a nice warm blanket

I have been getting massage for 15 years now. And the one thing every place has in common is they think they are the best. And that seems such a simple view because everyone is different and likes different kinds of massage. My wife and I could not be more different. She wants a nice relaxing, other worldly, massage with that gift of touch. I want my butt kicked, deep tissue stuff. Incredibly, we both love Kneaded Bodyworks because we can each get the type of massage we want and both leave very satisfied with the overall experience there. And they always seem to be open. I don't know how but whenever I call whether early in the am or late in the pm they answer the phone and i get to schedule a session. and that is important as both my wife and I have crazy schedules. Bottom line, if you are looking for a place that can deliver the type of massage you request and can do every time Kneaded Bodyworks is your place.

I have been searching for a place where I could always get a great massage. It is hard enough finding just one masseuse who is great and when you do find one they have to be available when you need. so, it is difficult to schedule sometimes. I was referred to Kneaded Bodyworks and was told that all the therapists are great. Well, I have been three times and each time I have had a different therapist and each time it was fantastic. And it is more than just the actual massage that makes the experience so wonderful. i feel very well treated from the initial phone call, to when I walk in and am greeted to when I leave. It takes an awful lot of effort I can imagine to pay so much attention to many different people but I applaud them for that effort and it is why I will never go anywhere else for massage in nyc. Great massage and I feel like queen for a day: Can't beat that! Do yourself a favor book today!!!

I never expected to come out of a massage feeling as great as I did for the next few weeks. When I first went I was wound up and was tight all over from stress and working out too hard at the gym. Isabel was the therapist that was available at the time and quickly examined me and zeroed in on all the really bad and sore spots immediately. I was quickly immpressed. Right away I knew she knew what she was doing and never enjoyed a treatment that much before. She has a keen intuition and one of the best set of hands. If you go to kneaded bodyworks you must ask for her, cause not only does she know how to work but she is also able to put you at ease with her warming and soothing personality.

I have had many massages, and not just in NYC, but Seattle, LA, etc. and I now I have found the best. Matt was a very talented therapist who combines deep pressure, long strokes, and body manipulation (amazing work on the shoulders and arms). By breathing deeply and trusting him completely, I was able to get a total feeling of renewal after this massage. He really knows what he is doing. The next day I was not sore, and that is not usually the case with deep tissue work. I can't wait to go back! Thanks Matt.

I am a physician myself and was told by my doctor that I had a herniated disc in my neck. I was in quite a bit of pain. I was told that treatment ranged frommedical massage to surgery. Obviously the former is better. I was actually referred to Kneaded Bodyworks by my trainer. I went for a massage and have been going for two months now. The pain is gone and I am grateful. I am a believer and would recommend their services to anyone.

In town over the weekend my sister and I were sore from of alll things shopping! Our backs feet and legs were awfully sore. So as always when looking for things to do ina city we turned to citysearch as our savior. A call to kneaded bodyworks proved the answer for what ailed us. On the phone we were asked not just our names but also what kind of massage we preferred. The idea was to pair us with a masseuse that did the kind of massage we liked. We were greeted with quite a bit of hospitality and whisked away to our rooms. the masseuse (sorry I am terrible with names) asked for my wants and needs and I fessed up the reasons necessitating our visit. Well when the massage was over I felt like a new person> And I also felt like I wanted to go to sleep. I met my sister iin the reception area and she was equally satisfied and out of it. we slept like babies and were right back at it sunday with more shopping. Well done folks, thanks again.

Though I find New York a great place it can be tough on a person sometimes. It seems like we have to fight for everything and it can be quite stressful. I found Kneaded Bodyworks on citysearch and decided to give it a shot. It was really easy to schedule the appointment. The place is quite nice with a very serene environment. My therapist was very nice and made some polite conversation before getting on to the massage. A good way to break the ice with a stranger that I was about to surrender my body I thought. The massage was excellent. Deep enough in the right places to get out the knots and soothing elsewhere where my body just wanted to be relaxed. I was very impressed and I will be a return customer. Thanks!!

Hands down the best place in NYC to go if you are looking for a great massage. I've been to some of the "top" spas in NYC, and none of them compare to the impeccable skill, service, and atmosphere that you will find at Kneaded Bodyworks. Doug (the owner) is actively involved in making your experience one you will not forget. He is always present and making sure that you are matched with the approriate therapist for the style massage you prefer. Whether you enjoy deep tissue, swedish, trigger point, or shiatsu, there is a therapist for you. I have never walked out of a massage disappointed (unless it was because the massage was over). The therapists are all really personable, and genuinely care about making sure they meet your needs, not to mention highly trained and skilled. The minute you walk in to Kneaded you feel this sense of peace and tranquility. It has a very warm and inviting feel, with dim lights, the sound of water flowing, and a brand new, sharply decorated space. Kneaded Bodyworks is a hidden gem that I highly, highly recommend. Shout out to Sarah, JP, and Amanda!

I went to this place for a 60 mins massage because my regular at another place was on vacation. Amanda did a decent job and tried hard to work my knots. This was one of the better massages (I have been to many spas in the city), but not the best. If you do decide to go here, I recommend Amanda. I will, however, stick with my regular because she is still the best in NYC.

I've been going to Kneaded Bodyworks on a pretty regular basis since my first massage (and first review here) in November '06, and I'm pleased to report that it just gets better and better (and better). The customer service couldn't be more courteous or accomodating. But what sets this place apart from its competition -- and I've sampled (and "suffered" with) the competition -- are the very skilled, talented and caring massage therapists. They always ask what I'm looking for before each session, make sure I'm completely comforable during the session, and hand me a cup of water after the session (with a smile). They've even taught me some exercises that I can do while in my office to reduce the stress on my body. Caroline, in particular, is a fantastic therapist with a great touch! I continue to highly recommend this place.

I was in pretty rough shape last week and in pain. I went on line to find a massage place. The first two places I tried no one answered (it was early in the morning). But lo and behold I get the owner of kneaded bodyworks live 8am and I get an appointment for later that day. I saw JP. I got a great deep tissue massage that totally got rid of that big knot in my shoulder that was killing me. And it wasn't as painful as massages I have had in the past. So my hats offf to kneadeed Bodyworks. Thanks again and I will be back soon .

I get massages a lot. It's my vice and I can honestly say that Beth at kneaded bodyworks gives the best massage I've ever had. She does fantastic firm neck work getting to all those places you wish other therapists would spend more time on. If you like a deep, firm massage you have to go see Beth. Kneaded bodyworks is just great. The owner is warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is the same. No pretences or over the top bells and whistles but not stark and medical like gracefull services, either. It's the type of place that is just fancy enough to make you feel good about treating yourself to something nice but not too fancy that you feel like you can only go there once a year or on special occasions. Just great.

Just great.

Pros: affordable and friendly

Cons: None!

I am an avid fan of massage and do a great amounrt of travelling. When I get into a city it is so difficult to find a good massage place. You never know what you are going to get. I was referred to kneaded bodyworks and I am glad I made the appointment. Not only was the massage excellent (deep tissue delivered with a wonderful sense of touch as well) but the attention to detail in the custimer service aspect was well received as well. They made me feel right at home and comfortable from the moment I walked in. I highly recomend Kneaded Bodyworks and not only will I go back when I come to nyc but I will make sure my hotel is nearby. Thanks again!!!

I hate spa's. There I said it, ok? Don't hate me. I don't want to change in a locker room and then sit around in a room in a robe, with other people sittting in the room in their robes, waiting for someone in a white uniform to take me to a room where I will lie on a table and wait to meet a perfect stranger who is about to put their hands all over my unclothed body. It was the wellness center aspect that drew me to Kneaded Bodyworks. And a wellness center it is, It is NOT a spa. Spa's are for people who have a lot of time and money to spend and spare. I don't have much of either to spare. A wellness center indicates a sense of care about my well being and that is what I want. So I tried kneaded Bodyworks. There are many massage rooms down two long corridors, and a gorgeous yoga studio overlooking 5th ave. The elevator opens into the reception room that is simple and serene. Candles, a waterfall and bamboo plants set the mood. I was met by a very friendly therapist and taken to my room (which had its own little waterfall and candles as well) and I felt like that was my space for my time there. I didn't have any interaction with anyoone else except for the receptionist when I paid as I left. The therapist talked with me and I liked that I kind of got to know her a bit before we started. I asked for a combination deep tissue and swedish massage explaining that I wanted the knots out but did not want to feel broken. And she complied to perfection. It was very relaxing and the entire experience was wonderful. I have had maybe 50 massages in my life and this was one of the top two or three, They really took care of me and gave me a good sense about them. so, if you are looking to sit around in a robe this place is not for you. But if you are looking for a great massage delivered in a setting that is holistic and has a great aura about it then this place is for you. And I will be back to be sure.

I will try anything once based on faith and then do it again based on belief. That is the case at kneaded Bodyworks. I had heard about their reputation for excellent massage so I decided to give it a try. I read the revies about a mixed bag which said the place was nice except the bathroom was industrial and the room too hot. The bathroom seemed very nice to me it looked like a normal bathroom and the temperature in my room was great for me. Anyway more importaantly was the massage. It was excellent. The masseuse really paid attention to me and made me feel as though I had a say in the quality of the work being done. She finished with some eel good stuff on my face and head. All in all a very professional and feel good experience. Highly recommeded.

I agree with the reviewer who calls it a mixed bag. The therapists are quite friendly but the place is just average, nothing out of this world. I do differ on one point: The room wasn't cold when I was there - it was suffocatingly hot!!! I voiced my concern to the therapist but there was nothing she could do about it except open the door, which wasn't an option. The bathroom also left a lot to be desired - it had more of an industrial feel than anything else.

I was introduced to massage years ago by my parents who pretty much raised me in a commune. I moved to nyc a few months ago and am still getting used to the enormity of the city. I have been to a few places for massage and then was referred by a coworker to kneaded bodyworks. I was actually amazed at the totality of the experience. Very professional but not clinical in any way. Very comfortable. I was greeted pleasantly, taken to the room and chatted with the therapist for a few minutes. I was kind of out of sorts so I was not able to say with any specificity what kind if massage I wanted. As soon as the therapist put his hands on me I knew I was in for a treat. He had an incredible touch and that is something one is born with, can't be taught. I got deep tissue where I needed it to get the knots out, firm pressure on my lower back and that great relaxing touch that makes the chaos of new york go away for a while. Thank you ( I forget the masseuse's name but he seemed to be in charge there) for the rejuvenation and I will return soon with friends.

I've been twice to Kneaded Bodyworks. November and then just a few weeks back. Had different massasues each time - once a man and then a woman. The space is attractive - I wouldn't call it gorgeous. It's clean, uncluttered, in many ways perfunctory. The first massage was really great and the guy went over by about 20 minutes and didn't charge me extra. The second massage was a little off. The room was freezing. Someone tried to enter the room from the outside but the door was locked - that was weird. And the massage lady talked way too much - which I wasn't really into. I guess it's true you never know what you're going to get unless you return over and over again to the same person for massage. I guess I'd recommend you try this place given that I had one good and one not so good experience. It's not a bargain, but it is still cheaper than the big Spas.

Finding a good massage is harder than one would think. There are so many factors that need to fall into place just to schedule an appointment never mind the quality of the massage: location, availability, actually making contact with a place. So I did a search and found Kneaded Bodyworks. My call was answered live and next thing you know I have an appointment later that afternoon Ok, I am thinking to myself, half the battle is over, I have a sheduled appointment. I then made my way over there. The place is very nice with simple but beautiful (and spacious) rooms. And then I had the massage. In a word: awesome. I had requested deep tissue and that is what I got. The masseuse checked in with me to make sure the pressure was ok and I just got this overall impression that the masseuse really cared about the quality of the session. I do not always find this when I go to a new place for massage. On the way out I got some water and a kiss (the chocolate candy kind:)). Once I got the receptionist's attention from her instant messaging, I concluded my transaction and what I felt was an overall great massage experience. Again from the ease of scheduling the appointment to the quality of the massage work to the pleasant surroundings I found it a very hospitable experience. I will be back for sure!

I have been going to Isabel for months now, and she is absolutely wonderful! Besides having outstanding, up-to-date training in skincare, she is so warm and caring that it makes you feel like a close friend is giving you your treatment! She is compassionate and comforting, even with very sensitive skin issues. She also is in love with her work and is continually learning and taking workshops to better herself, and her client's treatments...The good intention behind her work really shows through and makes a difference. She has helped me so much! I HIGHLY recommend trying Isabel first if you are having any sort of skin issues- Plus, she gives an astounding massage!

I have been a faithful customer of Kneaded Bodyworks since their opening and I cant express to you how amazing the experience is that this spa. From the warm and friendly workers, to the peaceful setting, to the sounds and smells that make you feel like you're a million miles away from NYC, it is the complete relaxation needed to survive in this city. You can walk in to the spa with knots and pain all over your body and walk out feeling like you are walking on a cloud with a smile from ear to ear. This is the best massage I have ever received in my lifetime and words really don't do it justice. Please do yourself a favor and book a 60 or 90 minute massage with them, they cater each massage to what your body needs and you will never ever forget how amazing you will feel.

I was literally in a cab going down fifth avenue and I saw the sign for Kneaded Bodyworks. I had just been saying to myself earlier that I needed a massage. I told the cab driver to stop and I went in. I asked for an appointment and when they asked for when, I sheepishly, said next available and that now worked. In ten minutes I was on a massage table.

I had taken a few moments to tell the masseuse what I liked and where I needed the knots removed. She actually paid attention! I extended to a 90 minute session. I got the right amount of pressure, got the knots out and I also got that great touch that I also like in a massage. My hats off to kneaded Bodyworks. I will definitely be back. And it has a very pleasant atmosphere.

I woke up with a really bad back yesterday.I made a reservation and went for a massage. Caroline was excellent, probably the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. I thought I would feel sore today but that is not the case. It seems there was an efficiency to her massage that made it deep to get out those knots but not muscle damaging. I am impressed. And I will be back.

I have received massages in the past and this def tops em! I came in unannounced just to see what KBW looked like and Doug, the owner, was nice enough to squeeze me in right there and then! Sorry for putting you on the spot Doug! He really stepped up to the plate. He utilized all of those types of massages (swedish, shiatsu, esalen?, acupressure) and it was very relaxing! Doug was very attentitive to my sensitivity to any type of extreme pressure (I am a wuss). Hopefully my bfs sched will allow for a great Vday couples massage. I would make this a weekly routine, however seeing as I am just a student this is quite impossible. I would recommend some sort of student discount for us NYU students, then I would def spread the word!

It is always an unknown thing trying a new masssage person or place for the same time. Everyone and everyplace is diffferent . Sometimes it works out and sometimes not. Such was my mindset when I tried kneaded bodyworks.

First, a comment: The place is absolutely first class, beautiful, gorgeous and professional. I don't know why they don't have their website plastered with photos of it??!! For those interested, a description will be at the end of my review. As for the massage: It was perfect. Seriously. I was met by the masseuse. She spent a few minutes talking to me beforehand. It was like she really cared that I got the massage I wanted. She got to all the right spots getting in there deep where needed and then just applying a great touch so that the overall experience felt good as well. I think this place is the answer to the question "where can I get a great massage in New York?"

I referred two colleagues and they both reported back that their massages were excellent as well and were also impressed with their hospitality. Well that's three for three so thanks again and I will definitely be back. And soon!!

Description: You get off the elevator and are immediately struck by the gorgeous plants in the reception area. Lush green, real, Bamboo Plants (big and smal)l, pink orchids and other plants. A soothing waterfall, great music fill the air. To either side of the reception rooom is a hallway. Bathrooms, shower massage rooms, down the left hallway. Down the right, hallway many many massage rooms. all of which are decorated very simply and tastefully. Again professional but not in a clinical way. Just right. And at the end of the hallway is an incredibly gorgeous yoga and pilates room that overlooks 5th avenue. I am not into Yoga as such but were I this is where I would want to go for a class. (I did see a photo of this room on the website on the yoga page)My only suggestion would be a little more artwork but, again, the place is really nice.

I was referred to Kneaded Bodyworks by the concierge at the hotel I was staying at before Christmas. ITHe massage was the best I have ever had and I have had many massaged over the years. The masseuse was attentive to my specific problem (sciatica) and gave me some advice afterwards about things I could do to help myself. I consider myself an athlete though I can no longer do so competitively. Overall, I was quite impressed with the entire experience from the massage itself to the attentive customer service in general. And I will go back as I travel to nyc every few weeks.

I was hosting a lot of my family over the thanksgiving weekend, so lots of stress there. After searching the internet I found kneaded bodyworks. I called at 11:30am sunday and was ASTOUNDED to learn that they could take 6 of us at the same time that day. We were warmly greeted, introduced to the therapists immediately (i hate the waiting room experience), and off to our rooms. I was asked about any specific areas I wanted worked on and again to my surprise it was actually attended to. The first thing she rubbed were my achy-did-too-much shopping feet. The overall experience was fantastic. All that family stress was gone after 90 minutes . And on the way home all 6 of us agreeed that we had just had the best massage we have ever had. It was first thing we all agreed on all weekend so kudos to the masseuses there. I will be going back and should do this more often.

My boyfirend and I just learned we passed the bar exam and dedicated Saturday to celebrating for ourselves. I was in charge of entertainment, he in charge of food. I was referred to kneaded Body works by a senior associate in my office She had been there weeks ago with her bridal party and raved. I did some due diligence of my own and made an appointment for a "couples" massage.

My boyfriend and I were ecstatic. True to the reviews we read, the masseuses were very pleasant, paid attention to the tension in my neck and shoulders and just made the overall experience an awesome one. Quite frankly, it would be wonderful to be treated like a queen like that every day, but I'll take it occasionally if that is to be the case. So, thanks again to the folks there (sorry I forgot their names:( ) and we'll be back!

It is with some reservation that I recommend this spa. The prices are great, the surroundings clean, the receptionist extremely pleasant and there is no pressure to...wait...that's right...there is no pressure. For want of a better word I'd best describe my massage as "weak". I opted for a 90 minute session that turned out to be a little boring. Not to mention only 15-20 minutes was spent on my back. More than an hour was concentrated on the front of my legs as well as my arms. I was getting pretty antsy by that time. It's not to say that I won't return but next time I'd greatly emphasize a "rougher" massage. Maybe I'll give this place another chance and see how things go. I've only gotten a massage once before and it was ,sadly, better (and cheaper) than this.

I've been back numerous times since my first massage (and first review here) in November, and I'm pleased to report that it just gets better and better (and better). The customer service couldn't be more courteous or accomodating. But what sets this place apart from its competition -- and I've sampled (and "suffered") with the competition -- are the very skilled massage therapists. Jessica, in particular, is fantastic. I continue to highly recommend this place.

I have had a lot of deep tissue massages over the years but never with the skill that I had last week. I had a woman named Caroline. I had originally requested a man to do the massage but was assured that this woman caroline was able to do serious deep. She can and did. The overall experience was great as well but I am just here to chime in about the deep tissue session. I'll be back.

I am training for the New York Marathon and was looking to massage therapy as part of the training. I read the reviews here and called Kneaded Bodyworks (and of course the first-time discount got my eye as well). Based on the reviews calling it a hidden gem, I was expecting some secret entrance and a password to get in but the place is right on Fifth Avenue. I was told that they had recently moved. I can't comment on their past place but the new one is great and has a very warm and welcoming feeling to it. And the Massage I had was without question the best I have ever had. I went again after my 20 mile run over the weekend and had a different masseuse and the session was equally as good. My recovery from the run was greatly helped by the massage. I highly recommend kneaded Bodyworks and will definitely become a regular.

I called to make an appointment yesterday (last minute as usual and they were still able to get me in!) and Doug told that they had moved around the corner to a new location. Now for the normal person that is no big deal but I have a certain aversion to change, shall we say. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Their old offices were very corporate in a professional office building that kind of belied their good karma, zen-like approach to massage and business. And the lack of a waiting room was lamentable, though between the price and the skill of the therapists who could complain. The new studio is beautifullly appointed, with great wood and has a very warm and positive energy (and a shower!) . And the massage rooms have been clearly decorated to reflect their spirit and in a minimilast way without too much to occupy or bother the senses. Just right! And of course the massage with Jennifer was fantastic! I do hope that their great rates do not rise as well. Good luck with the new space KBW and see ya soon!

All the therapists I've ever been treated by have been wonderful and for $70 / hour, $100 / 1 1/2 hours, you really can't beat the price. The downside of that used to be the space; you showed up at an aparment building with no waiting area and hoped that when you opened the door no one was on the table. Even so, the masseuses made it well worth it. That's all changed now, and they are now in a yoga studio -complete with self-contained Zen fountain so you know it's legit. Hopefully this won't cause the basic idea of great treatment, friendly people, for rock bottom prices to change now that things are more upscale. The bottom line is if you want a great massage this is the place, and if aesthetics are important to you, now you get that, too. Naada and Naomi - you are both fantastic, thank you!!

Words cannot explain how amazing the massages are that I have received from Kneaded Bodyworks. I am so lucky to have found them in NYC, because I would not be the same without my regular massages. I have a lot of stress and tension in my back and after my first massage I left there floating on air. I was smiling from ear to ear because every part of my body felt better than it ever has before. I have never felt so good in my life. The massage therapists are kind, caring and professional. They have given me tips on how to take care of my body better and I trust them to take care of me. They are very highly skilled and listen to the needs of your body. And in one of the craziest cities in the world, I can go there and completely escape from the madness and have peace & quiet & have time to gather my thoughts. Its so amazing, I hope that people out there read this and run to them, it will change your life too.

Simply the best massage experience in the City, at very reasonable rates, in a perfectly professional setting. I have been a regular client of KBW for quite some time, and take it from me and the many satisfied, repeat clients with whom I have spoken -- no one does it better. Naada, one of KBW's full staff of extremely skilled therapists, is the best of the best. She has solved my back problems, and her skilled touch, stretching, and advice on various health topics enables me to compete regularly in marathons and other road races pain free. Do yourself a favor today, schedule an appointment with Naada and see and feel what you have been missing.

My first massage here was so far beyond my expectations that the great feeling I got from it lasted for days. Gabrielle made the nagging pain in my lower back go away immediately. No need to look for any other business or therapist--KBW and Gabrielle are the best!
