I've been to 67 Burger easily 50 times over the last 2 years and I never cease to be amazed at how awesome the food is. Sometimes the lines are long and you have to wait a while for your food, but they cook it to order, so really, what

I ordered a Turkey Burger, it looked like a frozen processed pattie thrown on the grill. The sides peeled off like wax. I told them I did not like it & they said I can purchase something else. The female cook said everybody loves our frozen patties that is how we always make them.....

4GET 67 BURGER AND GO TO WILLIAMSBURGER OR CHOICE A COUPLE BLOCK UP.

THIS PLACE THUMBS DOWN!!!!

I NEVER WILL EAT HERE AGAIN, I INFORMED THE STAFF THERE AND THEY SAID OK OTHER PEOPLE WILL COME. PLEASE EXPLORE OTHER BURGER SPOTS, 67 BURGER NEEDS TO STEP IT UP FROM WHEN THEY FIRST OPENED UP.

Went to 67 Burger yesterday for my birthday dinner with a friend after going to the Brooklyn Academy of Music , because we wanted something delicious to eat that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Asked a local gentleman, and he recommended this place highly. Boy, we were happy he did! I had the "Parisian" burger (turkey, my personal choice). It was well-done, juicy, with a dollop of Dijonnaise on one-half of the bun, and the utterly delicious burger with sauteed onions and mushroooms on the other half. Also, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle on the side, to layer if you wish.
My friend got a regular chicken burger with sauteed mushrooms, and she savored every bite. I had bottled water; she had Diet Coke.
Their system is very clever; you order, get a number, and the server brings food to you at your table. All in all, we didn't have a long wait, but we were lucky - it got busier there after we sat down. You know what? The quality of food, attitude and atmosphere is all worth it. Mine came to $10 and change; not exorbitant in terms of great eats. I want to go back there sometime soon, and if you're ever in that neighborhood, please try them. You won't be disappointed. Thanks!

Love this place, but wish that it wasn't so crowded.

Pros: Good food, fast but not fast food

Cons: crowded

Have been here a few times and love love love it! The onion rings are perfect. Each bite is a tasty bit of just enough breading and the onion breaks off perfectly. Ok, maybe only onion ring purists will get this but nothing is worse than when you bite into an onion ring and the onion slides out of its breading and burns the heck out of your chin. I don't know how they do it but that's never happened to me at this place. As for the burgers, they've got a nice selection and are quite generous with toppings. Try the 67 Burger is LOADED with bacon! Plus, the beef is incredibly tasty. And kudos for being one of the only places in NYC/Bklyn where you can order a rare burger. A real rare, not medium marketed as rare. Highly recommend their milkshakes too. Overall really a nice spot.

Hands-down the best burgers I've ever had. First off, not many places still serve burgers rare, med-rare, med, med-well or well. Even those that do medium and well get it wrong most of the time, not 67 Burger. I've been there at least 7 times and always spot on. The offer a dozen specialty burgers; I've had their southwestern, parisian and 67 Burger. The southwestern is my favorite: spicy chipotle mayo, roasted peppers, scallions and jack cheese. Only $8.50 and it's a big 7 oz. burger. Also try the beer milkshake - sounds gross, it's delicious. I like their regular french fries but my friends love the sweet potato and curly fries. Also worth mentioning is that I've never had a tomato that's anything but perfectly ripe, 9 times out of 10 I toss the tomato in other burger places because it's just not ripe. Service is very friendly and they have a good selection of beers. I live in Manhattan but have gone to Brooklyn just for 67 Burger. Don't miss it.

I LIKE TO EAT THESE BURGERS BUT MY DAD TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD NOT EAT HERE ANYMORE. HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE WHAT YOU LIKE TO MAKE A POINT. I ASKED "CAN WE NOT TIP THEM?" BUT I LEARNED THATS NOT ENOUGH. YOU SHOULD BE NICER AND MAYBE YOU WON'T HAVE TO LOSE ANYMORE CUSTOMERS.

Matt the unprofessional manager. On 5/1/09 we had a VERY negative experience with manager "matt" who I will refer to as the nasty Manager. The experience was so terrible that after ordering, we had to leave. Specifically, after there being a mix up with the order, he came over in a very accusatory tone, failed to resolve the issue and only aggravated the situation. He insulted my husband and I in front of our family and friends. Mat is simply in the WRONG line of work. He is so NOT a people person. In fact, he cannot handle error on behalf of his employees and expects more of his customers than he expects of himself. he is NOT courteous, NOT professional, and NOT respectful--qualities necessary to the management of a restaurant, especially a complicated burger joint.

I like the food here even if it was a little outrageously priced. The burger was well-cooked and the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had.

I sat for a while after finishing my lunch doing some work on my laptop. The manager eventually came over and asked if he could get me anything. The implication was that he didn't want me hanging out in his half-full-at-lunch-hour establishment.

Then he noticed I had plugged into the electrical outlet. "Did you ask anyone if you could do that?" Me, " I didn't know I needed to - after all I just spend $17 on fast food". He, "This isn't an internet cafe." I smell greed. I won't be back.

Every place is an internet cafe since I'm staring at the manager/owner even as I type this - without his electricity or anyone's network connection but my own. Join the 21st century or get left behind.

I've been going to 67 Burger for sometime and I've never had a bad experience or burger there. I've gone when the restaurant was empty except for me, and I've gone on the weekends when it's crazy crowded. It's pretty simple: you order at the counter, pick a table, and they bring your food over. You can also order to go. When it's busy the food will take a while, but I've never waited an absurd amount of time. You get what you pay for at 67- not some wimpy sad patty and a small bun. My burgers have always been juicy and huge, and I've tried some of the toppings to spicy things up a bit. I recommend this place if you want a burger and want it done right.

I've been to 67 Burger several times as it is in my neighborhood, and recently, it has been HORRIBLE. My boyfriend and I went for our usual burgers and he ordered his rare and I ordered mine medium, WELL apparently it was National Beef Health Week as they did us the generous favor of overcooking our burgers. My boyfriends was more medium (a little pink and only in the middle) and mine was basically well. When we got the gusto to complain, the guy (in a NY baseball cap-his staple), rudely took it away, cut in in half and brought it back saying "we have to cook it a little bit'' in a very sarcastic tone. What an idiot/jerk. Cooking it until its crumbly doesnt mean rare, no matter how inexperienced you may be. Terrible service. Everyone's "too cool for school".

My kids favorite Brooklyn based restaurant. They love the perfectly cooked juicy burgers and sweet potato fries. The Oreo shake is a must have. Great pre BAM meal

To my great expectation, 67 burger has opened within blocks of my work place! Forget whatever I have ever said about any other burger place, this place is great. There are different sizes of burgers (mini, medium, large...they have fancy names but I forget what they are), plus turkey burgers and veggie and whole wheat buns (which I agree with another reviewer are kind of wimpy). Mediterranean salad was large, fresh and chock full of beautiful cucumbers and tomato. The fries are chip-like (in that they are sliced potato) and fried to a nice crisp-soft texture. This place features a lot of sauces and toppings but since I am a simple-burger lover, I haven't tried them. The lemonade is pretty weak. The milkshakes are thick and cheap. Definitely worth a trip to a rapidly changing and probably soon to be trendily renamed portion of the neighborhood. My roommate and I are pushing for 24/7.

I walk by this place every day, and its always packed. People seem to enjoy it a lot, so I was very excited when I decided to finally give it a try. Service, options, atmosphere are all great. Curly fries were hot and delicious. A wide variety of toppings makes it possible to customize your burger. BUT.... the burger itself is pretty lousy. They make a big show out of frying it in front of you, and it takes so long to get it, you would think they were making it from scratch. But in reality, its a 50-cent frozen molded patty -- the same one you would get in a hospital cafeteria or from Costco. With so many great burger places in this town -- and since even some "fast food" joints (Five Guys) use fresh ground beef -- don't waste your time and money here.

Anytime you go to a burger joint and they ask, "Do you need any help understanding the menu?" RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! I mean, what's there to explain about a burger, cheese or no cheese and fries? A lot if you design a menu that looks like a diagram from biology class explaining meiosis and mitosis. After deciphering how to read the manual-i mean menu, I ordered a sizeable cheeseburger that was about as flavorful as a public school lunch. I asked for salt and pepper and was told i didn't need any because there was already sea salt on my fries. Well, since I'm eating and paying for it, I like to decide how my food tastes. I ate half of it, and left the rest for the pigeons; their palates aren't as discriminating.
There's a fine line between good service and harassment. If I say I don' t need anything, it doesn't mean ask me if I'm sure, or come back two minutes later to re-read other menu items hoping that I might change my mind!
I should've known better. It's been my experience that the best burger joints are always low profile. The fancier the place, the poorer the taste.

I don't know where the previous people ate but I had a very bad experience. The bun was over toasted. The grilled chicken was very dry, even with pesto sauce & sauteed onions.Where's the cheese? I was supposed to have shaved parmesan cheese on my chicken- I had a difficult time finding it.

This is a fun burger place with a laid-back atmosphere, creative menu choices, and a firm grip on making a delicious burger.

I've tried The Ranch with Chicken, The Parisian with Beef, a classic burger, as well as a grilled chicken salad. I've been perfectly satisfied with all!

The fries are big enough to share, so if there's only two of you, don't waste your dollars on each getting an order. I prefer the regular french fries, but my boyfriend loves the sweet potato. I recommend at least giving them a try.

Having an outdoor seating option is lovely in the spring/summer, especially considering how lovely a street Lafayette can be during the warm season.

Service is spotty occasionally. I've had to wait in long lines to order while the employees seemed busy staring off into space. But quality never lacks.

Highly recommended!

I dont know what the last guy was talking about, but their burger selection is amazing!! My girl is a Vegetarian and she really enjoyed her veggie burger. I had their Terayki turkey burger. They cook all their burgers to order FRESH so if its busy you may need to be patient. The owners have all the NY papers to read while you wait or you can chill outside at their outdoor dining area. The turkey burger came out fresh and hot with a lot of swiss cheese, and sauteed onions and peppers....I am getting hungry all over again! Trust me I am a big CS user and only leave reviews when the business deserves it and they do. Its worth the trip to see Forte Greene, and eat at 67 Burger if you are coming in from Manhatten. Enjoy!!!!

Worst veggie burger I've ever had. I know, it's a burger place, but if they are on the menu, they should be edible. Service and fries were good, but for 2 people and $30 (at a burger joint), the experience was disappointing.

A good med-rare cheese burger is one of the great joys in my life, and I've eaten them everywhere in New York from high-end spots like Dumont or Rare to Paul's on 2nd Ave to the diner around the corner. Hands down, the guys at 67 Burger serve one of the best burgers I've ever had. The burgers are always the perfect temperature, the turkey burgers are never dry (my new favorite), and the fries are always crispy. AND...they make amazing milkshakes. Beer milkshakes. I dream about them. Grab something off their list, or make up a ridiculous concoction of a burger from the vast selection of toppings they have (avocado, roasted peppers, artichokes, mushrooms, and on and on and on). It's all good. And the salads are huge and the perfect thing for when I've just gone to the gym and feel too guilty to stuff myself full of meat (I love the house salad and the thai chicken salad!). The staff is really friendly, and they play some of the best music anywhere! (really, i mean it. anywhere.) As for the prices, it's considerably cheaper than anywhere else you might go for lunch or dinner in New York. I rarely spend more than $10-$15 on a burger, fries, and a beer, which is amazing given how good the food is. If you don't care about the quality of your food and just want something cheap to eat, there are a plethora of fast-food joints scattered all over Brooklyn who will serve you their far-below-mediocre-fare for $7. This place is worth every cent of the money I spend there and I am happy to walk 10 blocks for it even in the dead of winter. And my friends are happy to take the train to meet me there. My recommendation...go there now. In the 2 dozen times I've eaten there in the past few months, I've never had a bad experience with anyone who works there, or been disappointed by the food.

I just had their signature 67 burger (burger wih lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion and blue cheese). It was great! I took my order to go, but while waiting, I checked out the atmosphere and thought it was pretty nice. It's a cute addition to the neighborhood.
Open kitchen, all types of beers and vintage sodas. The prices were OK. I'll be back when I'm in the mood for a burger.

I live in the 'hood and heard mixed reviews, both about the food and service. Went there recently and had a bad overpriced meal. I think the other reviewers who point out that a burger, fries and drink at a counter service joint in bkln better be the best burger ever or its crazy overpriced at $15 -$18 (depending on your drink) are dead on. Turkey burger was way over done and the fries greasy. Same deal as the other reviewer who dealt with no condiments, rude owner/manager giving the brush off and leaving without eating the meal because we just wanted a quick burger and beer, not a pissing match over whether the food was cooked right. Too self-consciously "cool" to get away with the food they serve. They do have a good beer selection on tap but I will go to Mullane's across the street from now on.

Pros: I didn't actually get sick

Cons: I paid 36 bucks and the best thing I can say is I didn't get sick

.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was excited to see a spot to grab a burger and fries. It seemed convenient to stop in after work and grab something to eat. I guess I assumed too much for this place. My takeout order took 30 minutes to finally get. 30 minutes!!! For a simple burger?!?!?! Then when I get home, I find that my burger is cooked medium rare after asking for well done. Wow! How can you screw up a simple burger order? That's unreal. Needless to say, that was my first and last time in there. Hopefully, they will go out of business and save everyone from wasting time and getting sick from undone food.

Pros: Convenient

Cons: Service is slow, food is average (at best!)

I had a friend in town with a craving for a burger, so three of us decided to try 67 Burger because it's local and we assumed the burgers would be pretty good (mistake #1). So we walked pass the bar and grill across the street (which is pretty good) to go try them out. We were greeted by an order taker who apparently was in a big rush. She told us we should all order together and pay together b/c the kitchen would take too long if we ordered/paid separately (mistake #2). As we proceeded to order, the rushed one cut us off about 12 times. My sister tried to order an RC Cola since they don't have Coke or Pepsi and was repeatedly told that they didn't have orange soda. (What?!?! Who said anything about orange? She finally asked for a Coke and got an RC.) Then she neglected to record my sister's request for mushrooms and sweet potato fries. After our food arrived separately (...so much for the "order together" idea), my sister realized that both her mushrooms and fries were missing. There was a really good server who tried to rectify things until the manager/owner (actually, I don't know who he was since he never introduced himself) came over and rudely told us that it didn't matter what we thought we ordered, we didn't pay for it. (What?!?!) We couldn't believe how rude he was! The ppl at the next table were shocked at this entire exchange. So I said forget it, but the good server brought the 'shrooms/fries anyway. Then we had to beg neighbors on each side for condiments -- after the rushed one assured us that they brought condiments to every table. But we needed the condiments to spruce up the bland food that was obviously just a frozen processed patty. My turkey burger was so mushy that I could only eat a few bites. My friend said the same about her beef burger, but we didn't feel like fighting with them anymore, so we just left. Go to the bar and grill on the other side of South Elliott instead. It's so much better and the staff is great.

Pros: Convenient location, nice building, good onion rings

Cons: Poor service, subpar food

lets see? a perfectly seasoned flame broiled burger, cooked to order, cooked to temp. desired, with a side of fries enough for any one persons hunger, or even big enough to share with some one special ( if your have a meal with someone then chances are they are special) and a shake.........and how much is that worth? i've had enough thoughtless, unloved overcooked burgers at so many burger/faux bistro places I'll pay what ever is asked. and by the way, the prices are in line with the quality and care involved. Micky D's is around the corner on fulton and flatbush...have at it.
keep up the good luv 67!
ps best onion rings ever....( i've yet to find a hand made o-ring worth its salt in this city save a few 3 star type places. and even worse frozen "creations" elsewhere )
pss get your own rings! i'm not sharing....(yes, yes your still special)

Holy cow! i forgot the beer shake, now i don't have to trudge out to shnack. ( nothing wrong with Shnack, just a bit far removed from my locale)

Pros: well cared for food, owners on premise most of the time

Cons: still findind there feel, but thats better than force feed preconcieved notions about what you want.

Good yes..but jeez does it have to be so expensive?
I felt like this place is just too 'cool' to be an enjoyable spot in Bklyn. The entire environment was too much like a Manhattan joint. Please..67Burger go to the Upper West side..

Dining in and ordering a burger, fries and a drink: $15. My recommendation: Get your burger to go, stop at a Chinese carryout for $1 fries and a Snapple: under $10.

here...this is a much welcome addition to the growing and lovely FtGreene neighborhood. I've been to nearly all the recently reviewed / rated burger places in the so-called trendy burger craze, and found myself jostled amongst screaming coeds, eating a mediocre product and much poorer for it. 67 has huge proportions, cooked to consistent temperature, and you can sit and enjoy your company or chat with the friendly staff. I go once a week for the Blue Burger: fresh juicy beef burger with creamy blue cheese and (finally) extra crispy bacon, on a bun that's toasty and pillowy at once. My favorite vices are the absolutely perfect onion rings and thick crinkly cut garlic pickles. I look forward to their always evolving gourmet creations, and with a few more hands this place is going to be nuts. Whether its in the winter for some hot meaty goodness, or in the summer sun chillin' with a stupid fun beer milkshake, this place has the stuff cravings are made of.

Cons: huh?

Not the best burger I've ever had, but it is high grade beef cooked exactly how you ask for it (too many places give you 'medium' when you ask for 'medium rare', etc.), and a decent bun. Nice variety of different kinds of burgers, so overall a good addition to the area.

I've managed to eat at 67 Burger twice now.

Both times the food was excellent. I prefer my burgers rare, and am often annoyed to find that my food has been overcooked. To my pleasent suprise, I asked for a rare burger, and I got a perfectly cooked rare burger.

The blue burger was yummy, good cheese. And the cheeseburger with pepper jack was delicious too.

The onion rings are crisp and yummy and regarding fries, I prefer the curly fries to the sweet potato, but both are good. I need to go back and try the regular ones.

Be aware that on the menu in the burger section are some items where the word garden replaces burger. I thought there might be more veggies on these burgers, but they are in fact, veggie burgers. I'm hoping to get a Greek Garden (feta, olives and artichokes) made with a beef patty. I'll make the special request and see what happens.

The staff is very friendly and seem genuinely interested in your enjoyment of the meal.

I forgot to mention beverages. They have BOSCO chocolate soda! There's only one other place I know of to get the stuff, and it's not anywhere near Ft. Greene.

They have beer too.
