I went to this place for the first time because a friend recommended it and actually ONLY remembered the address. And boy, when you arrive outside, you'll notice the place looks just hideous! It has a huge, white neon sign all around the door, and yes, there are actually FOOD PICTURES printed on it, i kid you not! The name does not really help either. Rio & You? Huh? But fight the urge to run, do go inside and take a seat at the sushi bar. The place is very clean but without any special decoration, quite old fashioned. You might notice the mostly Japanese patrons by now. Everyone orders sushi here. I ordered the $40 Omakase the last 3 times I was there and I can honestly say, sushi does not get any better than this! The freshness, the variety of fish, the presentation, all perfectly prepared and explained, completely unrushed. Simply fantastic. Shige (sp?), the sushi chef, is a true master of his trade. He is happy to explain everything he does to the curious customer. This is a man who truly respects his fish. You can get the best piece of bluefin tuna and next up is a part of the fish cheek you probably never ate before but will undoubtedly enjoy equally. Comes the end of the day, some of the precious unused fish of the day will be wrapped up in a sheet of real wood veneer from Japan, before it goes in the fridge. Supposedly, this is the very best way to keep a fish fresh, if it has to be. I could go on and on raving about this place but by now you should be informed enough to know that you want to go. So - check it out! You'll be in for a treat!

Pros: Better sushi chef than Nobu

Cons: Silly name; hideous, huge white neon sign outside (to repell potential customers?)
