This is just a perfect place for a night out, good drinks, amazing music and a ton of dancing. I just love going in here every weekend and just dance the night away.

I am extremely dissapointed at PACHA NYC. My daughter and her friends were excorted out of the club falsely accused when it was her birthday. Warning to all those whom attend this nightclub. . . You WILL be thrown out when someone trys to

If you know how to have fun and you want to escape into your own little world and dance all night then pacha is the place to go. Im sick of reading all these reviews on how terrible it is and the complaints of drugs and how they rape you of your money. First of all every club and bar has people who do drugs whether thats your fancy or not is your own business. Secondly on the website you can put yourself on the guestlist and it is only $10 to get in as long as you get there before midnight. It does get a little crowded but i would say thats a good thing, obviously your at a hot spot. If people are fighting its because they are obnoxious and cant control themselves and that happens everywhere so for the sob stories of people who got into fights you definitely did something to instigate it. Dress to impress, bring a group of friends, wear your dancing shoes, and dont forget your light up glasses you will have a blast !! : )

I did enjoy my night out over there; music was fine, the service and drinks were not bad at all. Really nice atmosphere. We were a bit skeptical regarding the door policy though..the first time we went there the line was huge, it took us almost an hour to get into the club. The second time we were 9people and we booked a Limo night out package for like $160 , for 1h limo tour and admission in the club skipping the line (limotournyc) that was a pretty good deal! Anyway I?ll definitely go back there!

Had VIP Table service, except no service. Only saw our waitress once over 5 hours. The bar back did all the work. Management was awful and they apparently never talked to our waitress after we worked out the situation with 2 of them. Way overcrowded. They blocked access to the floors at times. We were on the top floor, went downstairs and were not allowed back to top floor where we had paid for a table, but we snuck by the dumb bouncers and got up there after all.\n\nI DO NOT recommend.

I was Assaulted on Halloween of this year, by two other patrons and when I went to report it to their security, they did nothing, they did not give any effort to find them, the two guys were not even wearing Masks, and I gave great description of the Perps and what costumes they were wearing. I was punched several times by two of them and I received several bruises and a broken tooth as well as lost a TapOUT shoe and Bad BOY cap, by trying to run away from them. I was not able to defend myself because there were two of them, and they were much bigger than me. While I was getting hit several times, I ran to the Bar to seek help and even the Bar Maid did not even help, as I was screaming for help. Finally, when I got to the Security outside,in back of the club; because none of them were there when I was getting assaulted on the dance floor or near the bar, they finally attended to me.\n When I requested the security to call the cops they did not, they claimed they will handle it, and I requested several times to call them and they did not call them, I was however seen by their EMT person, (given a Band-Aid and some ICE, ""Big Whop"" although he was Very Helpful and Attentive, ""they should have called an Ambulance"", but after that , the security people encouraged me to go home because they just did not want to help me, or do any effort to find them. There answer was ""It is a Crazy Night"" I wanted to say ""That's Your Answer for trying to find them? REALLY? Unbelievable! I now have a Scar above my nose and I had to get an Extensive Root Canal and a Crown for my front tooth, I am very upset by this!\n When I went back to the club later that night (4:30 AM, because I heard they are open till 7 AM), to speak to the one of the managers, of which did not help, to ask if they found my hat and shoe, (Lost & Found Dept) and to see the status of my complaint , they were closing, one of their junior security people said in a SARCASTIC Manner, ""We did not find a TapOUT shoe, Your HAT or a Broken Tooth"" When I spoke with a Police Officer the next day to file a complaint, they claimed that This Club is known for drugs and other types of misbehavings and that ""they"" (CLUB) do not like when We go there because there is always problems. When I went to Community Board 4 to see if there are complaints about them, I had found various articles and complaints on file about this club, including the New York Post Online Edition. The hotel I stayed at said ""That club is known for problems"" and when I ran into another patron at the hotel who over heard my conversation He said the Friday before, there were several fights and problems. When I tell people what happened, to me, their response is "" What do you expect, many people are high on drugs there, it is known for drugs and problems.""This club is ""Today's"" SoundFactory; (Ironically same location) & Limelight which was known for drugs and problems that closed them down! \n All in ALL, I LIKED going there, music was great, DJ''S were great, Until I was Assaulted!

Went there last weekend. The balcony area was nice, you could see people dancing from up there.\nThe dancing area was pretty crowded, but fun. The small area downstairs wasn't any fun. The toilets are in the middle of a dancing crowd. Not very convenient. The dancing hall downstairs should be bigger.

I was here this weekend, and yeah it was cover charge $10 on the guest list before 12am, I have been to this place before and this time I decided to go with a reviewers mindset. My first impression was the entrance. It looks really outdated, Feels more like a Haunted house were everything is old, rusty, dusty and dirty. The dance floor for the 1st and floor which gets the most abuse, feels like dancing on the boardwalk. The second floor was closed that day but that one feels like walking into my grandmas house which has really old carpet floor. The third level seem pretty nicely maintained and the Basement level is just down right small and shady. I was there from 12am - 5am. Comparing this club which often charges $40 for entrance, and $8 for coat check. I don't know were all the money is going...In the Queens area there are a few much newer and better maintained clubs, I am a mobile DJ so I tend to pay more attention to their equipment, for this review I looked at all of the lighting equipment and it is Ancient stuff, we are talking about just the Scanners and Moving heads, not the Really Expensive LED display on the Wall which is new. In a brief description is a place were you should go online and get the guest list which is Free on Fridays and enjoy. I would like to see the lighting equipment get a serious upgrade to the more new and sophisticated stuff out there....

Not even worth one star unless you enjoy a club run by money grubbing NAZi's. They will look for any way to get money from you. \nUnfortunately, many awesome DJ's play at Pacha so my friends and I are always reluctant to go. And each experience gets worse and worse. Partying at Pacha kind of reminds you of Schindlers List. \n\nThere are times you will go to the bathroom or another level and not be able to go back to your friends because they lock you in an area due to crowdedness. You might get stuck in an area or level for at LEAST 30 mins and even the whole night! leaving people no choice but to push and shove, get out of control and that's when fights break out. \n\nMaybe you'll wanna go have a cigarette in the normal smoking section only to find out, that specific night, its NOT a smoking section but an all exit door and will not let you back in.. no matter what. Not even to get your stuff or tell your friends. You just have to go back around and pay another entrance fee. \n\nPerhaps you won't want to deal with the ridiculous lines at coat check, or you can't even get down the stairs to get to coat check. So you decide to carry your sweater, put it down on top of a speaker to dance a bit and without warning have it taken by security and will not give it back till you come back the next day to pick it up.\n\nIf you are just standing and enjoying the music, you are most likely considered a drug dealer and will be watched and pulled aside. And hopefully, in the eyes of their retarded security, you don't resemble someone who got caught with drugs sometime before or you will get pulled out and humiliated, wrongfully. Oh and make sure you don't have any cash on you in case you are pulled out and checked for whatever reason, cuz yeah they might let you back in (which is unlikely) but not with your cash. And if they send you home, still.. not with your cash. \n\nEveryone enjoys lights but partying at Pacha, you get lights and flashlights shined in your face constantly.\n\nAnd GOD FORBID you are a perfectly normal human being, sober, club-rule abiding PAYING partier wearing a plain white tee shirt, you are not allowed in. WHAT KIND OF CLUB DOES NOT ALLOW PLAIN WHITE TEE'S IN?! PACHA NYC! oh BUT if you buy a $30 product from Pacha.. ON TOP of their $40 entrance fee, then your dangerous and law breaking white tee is magically allowed to come in their royal, grand dickhead club. What's funny is that KNOWING pacha is run by cocksckers, I called in advance to ask if girls were allowed in with flip flops. And to my surprise they said yes, it is allowed. But who would've thought plain white tee's weren't?! SO IF YOU WANNA PARTY AT PACHA, CALL IN ADVANCE AND RUN YOUR WHOLE OUTFIT BY THEM, cuz with them you seriously never know! \n\nI have never written a review, nor do I ever care enough to publicly bash a place but people need to know how HORRIBLE this place is. A club is supposed to be a place where people are excited to go and have a good time. NOT a place to fear, hoping to be able to stay till the end if you get past the entrance door. \nTHEY ARE MONEY STEALING NAZI'S.\n\nother than that, i hear the burgers outside the exit are pretty damn good.

This was by far the worst club I've ever been to. I came from central PA to see Avicii and left EXTREMELY disappointed and irate. About 3 months before the show, tickets on their website were $10 and I would've gladly paid $10 to see Avicii, but I saw a link that said if you signed up for their eNewsletter, you could get 2 free passes to ANY show, you just had to choose which date when you signed up... did that... got an email saying my name was on the guest list for the night of Avicii. When I got there (before 11 as the passes said), I gave them my name and they said it would be $50 a piece. I explained that I was on the guest list and showed them my email and they said that their manager changed his mind and he was not honoring the free passes for the night, so the $50 was a reduced ticket price. After causing a mini-scene they told me the best they could do was $40 each and I could use my passes for another night. I don't mind paying $40 or even $100 per ticket to see Avicii, but the fact that I was emailed free passes specifically for that night and they didn't notify me until I got to the door that they weren't honoring them is unacceptable. When I finally got in, the dance floor was so crowded that it was uncomfortable (and for someone like myself who frequents dance clubs like this, you know it must've been ridiculously overcapacity for me to feel uncomfortable), I decided to go up to the 3rd floor balcony to see if that was any less crowded... it wasn't, and to make it worse, the actual space that overlooks the main floor is only about 8 square feet and is directly above the lighting so all you could see was the top of the lighting brackets. Then, to get back down to the main floor, I had to wait over an hour in line because they were only letting 5 people down the stairs at a time. By 12:30 the dance floor was so crowded that I wasn't even standing on the floor, the people around me were so crammed together that they were suspending me about a cm off the ground. I'd say they were AT LEAST at double maximum-capacity. Avicii didn't end up coming on until 1:30am, so I was already dead and I was so annoyed with the experience that I left by 2am. Pacha NYC is taking full advantage of the brand name ""Pacha"" and ruining it. Only Pacha NYC can make Avicii a bad experience. And for the record, I will not be ""using the free passes for another show.""

Gone are the glory days of megaclubs pumping house music every Friday and Saturday night...Pacha is the last of them. While it may not compare to most of its legendary predecessors, its the best NYC has to offer if your looking to get your dance on well into the morning (and afternoon...depending on which DJ is playing).

The wait t oget in wasn't too bad, there were a ton of people there. I went when cosmic gate was playing. I dont know if the kind of people change depending on whose playing that night. The cover price and the drink prices were comparable to other clubs in the city. The club has a decent layout. But my biggest problem were the people. Now like I said the people may be different depending on the dj/artist who is playing. However there were a ton of fat chicks, guys, and asians. There were easily twice as many guys than girls. There were a few hot girls we met and danced with. When we tried to talk to them they could barely speak english. If you are just trying to rave and enjoy yourself then this place is good. But if you are trying to pick up girls, I would suggest somewhere else because the only chicks at pacha are fat chicks or drugged up hippies. But the djs they got playing are top notch.

This place is horrible place. We were about 25 people to celebrate my friend's B'day and thought may be it is really good place to go. But after getting in, we all felt that we made a mistake to come here. Overly crowded and people were wearing shorts, sneakers, and what ever. Do not spend your hard earned money.

This was my first visit to Pacha in NYC with my frnds. we had to pay an entry fee of $50 due some event at the club, which nobody knew really what the event was !!! \n\nThe drinks are way too costly here. Even a bottle of water is for 7 bucks. \nMusic played was techno, not that fun..... !!! Sounded like same music was being played over and over again.\n\nThe place was too much crowded.....! Its impossible to walk around with a drink in hand...and you are almost certain of spilling your drink on someone or yourself if you are that lucky !!!\n\nand Beware..... lot of gals dancing around are trans-sexual males..... !!!! so watch out !!!\n\nall and all, the placed seemed to me overhyped in NYC, I would suggest Webster would be better option ..if you are looking to have good time !!!\n\n

I've gone twice, and both times were for friends' birthdays so I've only dealt with the advanced line. We waited 10-15 minutes and then got right inside. Security wasn't bad, got patted down but no groping went on. First time around the security woman threw my gum out but it wasn't a big deal (I was drunk though - at that point all I cared about was getting inside to pee).\n\nI paid $20 the first time, and $10 the second. I've only been on three floors so far: the main floor (electro/techno music), the ""Funky Room"" which apparently either has its own music (top 40/hip-hop) or music from the main floor, and Pachita (hip-hop). I had fun on all three.\n\nThe last time I went, the crowd was pretty good - a lot of well-dressed and decent people. However, you do have the exceptions since the dress code is actually kind of lax. A LOT of guys but that was okay - more choices for me. But with that said, some of them are creepy and/or aggressive. I was heading to the staircase up to Pachita and some guy grabbed my ass. By the time I turned around to react/snap at him, there were too many people between us.\n\nBasically, find a way to get a cheaper cover price (to be honest, I'm not so sure if I'd be willing to pay $40, even though I did have mostly positive experiences there [then again, I'm a nearly broke college student]), go with people you know you'll have fun with, be open to meeting other people, pregame if necessary, and don't let little things ruin your night.\n\nDownsides: When there are a lot of people, it gets really, really hot so you'll want some water to drink BUT regular plastic water bottles are $5; the guys can be grimy.

Went to Pacha NY for the first time tonight and saw Will.I.AM. The music was great, the sound system rocks. The lighting was even awesome. In terms of music, it was totally worth it. If you want to go to a club for the experience, this is the one to go to, its massive!\nBUT....\nI heard that the club cliental is mostly men, which is true, but a lot of the guys were really, REALLY grabby. I was not impressed. Just because I go to a club, does not give guys permission to grab my ass and crotch at will. \nThe drinks are really pricey, and they're nothing fancy. Also they don't give out free water, you have to buy a small $1 bottle for FIVE DOLLARS. \n

So I was in new york for the weekend, and someone suggested that i try out the pacha. I am so glad i did. I got there a little bit early, there were only about 30 people on all the floors combined, so i just went down to the main dance floor and started drinking.\n\nAround 1130 or midnight it really started getting busy there. Hundreds of people. Judge Jules was the DJ of the night for the dance floor, and he did a fantastic job. There was another dj on the floor below, but i didnt spend enough time down there to comment on it. As for the dance floor though. Amazing time. The music was loud, the music was hot. The crowd was very friendly. No one gets pissed if you bump into them or accidentally step on their feet while dancing. There are the ass-grabber people (I was one of them) but that comes with any bar/club environment. What can you expect when you get people drinking. This club seemed like a good place to go to hook up and have a good night, but beware: The guy to girl ratio is not equal at all. bout 70% males, 30% females. If you dont have game, you might not want to go for that reason.\n\nBut thats enough of that. Go to the club, decide for yourself. 30$ cover charge for guys though (not sure about the ladies). Personally, it was the best i've ever been to.

Pacha is not a NICE club/bar scene at all. It attracts a crowd that lacks any substance. \nWe went on a Friday night ( not my choice -we were dragged there by visiting friends). It was packed full of 18-yr old kids who were trying too hard to impress, smoking in the club, and some disrespectful patrons who felt the need to grab our friend's ass as she walked by. We left (out the back entrance) after 10 minutes and went to the Meatpacking District where we had great time. \n\nIf you like this type crowd, then go. But any guy that brings his lady here is asking to be an idiot for the night. \nOnce you enter you'll find it to be a dirty building that is falling apart.\n\n

First time to New York, had to see Pacha as i heard about it when i was in Barcelona Spain. First of all I wanna say that its experience will be different for everyone, i may love it you may hate it for different reasons. Before i came to New York i read many reviews about Pacha and Cielo night clubs and was a bit concerned about getting in, as many say its hard and bouncers are pretty rough at times. When we got there (me and my wife we'r early 30's) at around 23:30 on Friday there were not more than 10-20 people in line and we got to the front in minutes. Guy at the door asked us for ID my wife had her drivers license and i had no ids as i figured i dont look younger than 30 for sure but i guess its not just age that they look at so we were turned away... Came back around same time next day on Saturday, showed our IDs got in got searched pretty thoroughly went upstairs i told the girl i was on a list, she asked what list i said a web list on the web site she gave me 2 green tickets and said to go to pay at the box office 5 feet away, payed $20 for 2 of us, went inside. Smokes are $15 a pack. Right from the start we loved it, music was nice and the more drinks we had it sounded even better. Regular vodka+cranberry $10 i also got Red Devil later on for $14. A bit too crowded but people don't mind when you walk by and may accidentally bump into them. Nice touch go-go dancers... We especially enjoyed watching groups of good dancers who got into circles one by one or in pairs danced in the circle really good. In all we had a blast, didn't wanna leave. When we got a bit tired we just went right into this area where there were bunch or couches with little tables around, i guess some sort of VIP area but i didn't care i just went in and crashed for like 15 minutes, no one said anything.

I finally went to Pacha's although I have been there several times when it was SoundFactory. The DJ was amazing and very into the crowd. The drinks were strong which was suprising since I am use to getting a water-downed overpriced mini drink at so many other places. The place is beautiful and the club will stay open after hours if the crowd and vibes are right! The House music is mesmerizing and you never wnt to leave. Do not be suprised to see a celebrity in one of their many funkadelic trippy rooms! All in all it is a must for any club goer or party monster!

Pacha is the best house music club in city due to their hosting of the worlds best dj's and all night theme parties. They club doesn't get pumping until around 3 am so don't expect much if you get there before 1. The early crowd is made up mostly tourists who are just there to get drunk. The late crowd is made up of serious clubbers who are there for the music and djs. The energy totally changes at 3 am when the main dj goes on. I went this past weekend to hear Victors Calderone (who was amazing) but I have to say I will have second thoughts about going back to Pacha again. The Pacha security was horrible. They put a downer on the night before you even walk in the door. They are super rude and basically strip search you. I don't mind a pat down, but now they are now grabbing and feeling around your crouch. Thats where I draw the line. I happened to get caught with gum in my pants (not allowed) and they made me feel like I had just committed a major crime and yelled at me. Give me a break. A few weeks ago I would have given this club 5 stars.

I had a good time the last time I went to Pacha. The music is not that good but the club is beautiful inside!. It is three floors and the second floor is the main floor for dancing. The music was all techno when I went so I do not know if it is different other times. Try to find out about deals when it comes to cost because if you don't get a deal, it can be kind of expensive. Also, it is not in the best neighborhood so be careful when leaving and take a cab!

It is a pretty typical club. The space is not necessarily great. If you are looking for hardcore house dancing after 4am, this works. But I have been to better.\r\n\r\nBut the experience at the door was very annoying.\r\nFirst the guy at the entry who is checking the IDs asked us to pay 40$ for each at 4 in the morning. We were a group of of 6 girls and 2 guys. Then my friend somehow managed to get a deal of 10$ per person after talking to another guy at the main entry. (double standard, unfair pricing)\r\n\r\nI had a water bottle in my pocket and the guy at the door took the bottle off my pocket and threw it w/out even asking me to throw it . Then I told him, i want to drink it before I get inside as I am thirsty, He blackmailed me saying If I drink it, I am not getting in. So see another nobody w/a big power trip. I understand not letting the water in as I guess we are supposed to buy the overpriced water inside, but how dare he can dictate what I will drink before I get in. I did not say anything since most of my friends already got in and also it is known that people at the doors of this kind of clubs tend to enjoy their ""oh so important power of letting people in"" little too much.\r\nBut I dont want to support this business again by going there.

So, I went to this place last night upon recommendation of the other positive reviews on the web. I got there early....it was just after 10pm. The club was pretty empty inside...so why did the proud guys at the door make us wait almost half an hour? There were a total of 5 people in line by the way including myself. And these jerks have the nerve to make you wait in line for half an hour at 10:00....I chose your club over all other clubs/bars/lounges....so wouldn't you want people to go in asap? And then they really try to milk you with the $30. (yes $30. per person) cover charge!! My man and I are not going to pay $60. just to get into a place that made us wait at 10:00 for half an hour and for no reason. We went to another place - with no cover charge - and spent the $60 we would have to just get INTO Pacha on...hmmmm... about 5 drinks!

Pros: None that I can think of...

Cons: They are not as good as the staff seems to think they are

Me and my friends went there last night for the Marcus Schulz performance and it just insane. We first walked in and it was the lower level floor where there weren't many people so we kinda thought it was going to be bad but as soon as you go upstairs its just insane. Everyone is dancing, lights are going on and off, just a crazy atmosphere. The music was unbelievably great and just went on and on. To get in is a joke, me and my friends were kinda overdressed since we had heard rumors that you had to be dressy. I saw some dude wearing running sneakers and a hoody, its a joke to get in. Even though I had a blast and would go there again, some negatives are present. The prices are insanely high, we paid 30 dollars to get in and the drinks were uber expensive! Also, the guy to girl ratio wasn't that great but you will manage. The crowd is pretty chill and alot of tourists but sometimes a little too chill since you had a bunch of people smoking w ee d which isn't my thing. All in all I had a great time and plan on going back sometime soon.

We entered before midnight and there was no cover! Club was amazing with 3 different levels and 1 balcony overlooking the main dance floor. Interiors were attractive too and lights and lasers were impressive! Hip Hop/Top 40 in the basement and Techno on main level and upstairs dance floor, Pachita. Drinks were expensive ($10 for whiskey sour, $14 for long island iced tea) but this is NYC let's face it! The music was awesome! We left at 4:30 and the club was still hoppin'! Awesome night! No complaints.
