AWFUL SERVICE! Without a doubt my worst ever shopping experience in New York! In late 2007 I purchased a winter coat from Bei Q. After very little wear the belt started to fall to pieces, in particular the buckle which I had originally presumed to be leather (coat cost: $400) but appeared to be papermache or something similar. As I was due to leave town for a week and wished to take the coat with me, I attempted to resolve the matter by calling to store to see if they could offer any assistance. Over a three day period I was informed by various assistants - Lilly, Erin and Vandan - that Shirley, the store's Owner/Manager, was out and that I should call back. I called the store five times as well as leaving a message for Shirley to call me. FInally I managed to reach Shirley on her cell, clearly she was not happy to be speaking with me. Not only did she refuse to offer any assistance whatsoever but her unprofessional, curt, monosyllabic manner and blatant rudeness left me in absolute disbelief, following which she actually put the phone down on me! I will certainly never shop at this store again. PBNOV
