We were duped into this guy Brett or Joe (same guy) telling us he knew what he was doing. The work had to be redone as there were cracks all over the work a few weeks after he was done.
My friends said that this is the worst masonry job they have ever seen. And I agreed.

Please look into this review it is tarnishing our reputation. Our company is owned by Brett J. (Joe) Melelli and Joe G Melelli Brett and Joe are two different people.Joe Melelli was very difficult to deal with. Work was shoddy. All the work JMG did needs to be re-done. Save yourself the legal bills and just use another contractor. Melelli will do a patch job repair on his shoddy work to get your money and make you think you're happy. Then a few month's down the road you'll see what he really did.

Business Response:
This difficult client has not only made an attempt tarnish our online reputation, he has also made an attempt to go after us via Nassau County Department of Consumer Affairs. They have rejected his claim for unsatisfactory work. The home owner has now taken the matter to Nassau County court where we are currently in a trial process. He is attempting to sue us for three times the amount of his contract. We will not surrender to people who are trying to financially benefit from our company and will continue legal litigation not matter what the expense may be.... Principal is by far more important to our company.I was happy with the finished product. But the work was completed late and had to be redone. Mr. Melelli was difficult to work with. I will not use him again.
