I'm writing this review after being in the store twice and the experience of my friends purchase we made together a couple of months ago. I would have to say that I completely agree with the negative reviews that have seemed to plague this store for years. O have sat here for a few minutes and it is blatantly clear to any who read these reviews that when more than 50% of purchasing customers are complaining about service, that there is something seriously wrong with this establishment. I would have to say, when a store employee or owner replies to his or her own reviews, it does seem to show an air of arrogance and instability. Usually reviews are left for customers, not the combative owner, who seems to have some sort or egomaniac/inferiority complex that urges them to reply to posts whereas a stable confident individual would disregard a negative post. I find it quite amusing as a matter of fact. Anyway, fine puppy we got. Then again I say fine as in satisfactory. Nothing more. But what would you expect from a store that sells baby clothes too. Odd like a garage sale combination. How many years at this, and the owner is STILL trying to establish rapport? Quite sad really .....

What a great puppy boutique! I stress the word "boutique" because this place is unlike any pet store I have been to. I purchased my maltipoo puppy "Stella" from RR over a month ago and she has been nothing but a joy. Wherever I go people

This is one of the best stores in NY. It's the cutest store I have ever seen. The puppies are playing with their toys, they are clean and happy. I wish my building would allow dogs as Raising Rover would be the the only store I would go

BUYER BEWARE - Please everyone who buys a dog in a pet store is feeding into the worst animal cruelty there is. If you buy a dog via internet that is shipped to you, you are supporting puppy mills. If you love your puppy there is a big chance their mom is breeding every six months in poor conditions. These breeding females can have over 200 puppies. They breed for life in a cage.
GO TO PETSHOPPUPPIES.org get your free puppy report. Find out where your puppy was bred. Get the breeders name before you purchase a pet, research the breeders kennel, be wise. 98% of the dogs sold in pet stores and on line are mill dogs.
Think of adopting. There are pure breed rescues and some great mixed breeds out their. Designer dogs are mixed breeds. There are thousands of morkies, yorkies and all other breeds waiting to be loved. Puppy Mills are horrible places. Help a breeding female get out of her cage, Puppy mills are real, legal and there are thousands of them. Thousands of ppl earn a living from these poor breeding females.

I want to tell you what a wonderful experience we had purchasing our French Bulldog at Raising Rover (Lex@ 94th) NYC. In advance, I had researched the breed but Jeff reassured me of my decision since he knew the breeder was wonderful. Jennifer then guided us as to what holistic foods ro feed our new puppy. She recommended us to the East Side Animal Hospital, 52nd Street) and Dr. Reid who is a professional caring vet. As I said, our experience could not have been more positive. Maybe we should consider a sibling?

we all call my little girl, Teapup. she is a very tiny maltipoo which is exactly what the salesperson Jen told me. Teapup weighs about 3 pounds and she looks like a stuffed animal.everywhere i go people stop me to touch her, I am always carrying her because she is so tiny. at this point she loves her table food and i mix it with dog food because she is so fussy. This is my first pet living on my own and I want to thank Jen at raising rover for taking the time and talking me through all my questions.I love my Teapup.

I was in this shop 6th of October 2010, me and another lady saw this cat that was in the back of the store that was full with flees and parasites in the ears. We told the people that worked there, which didnt do anything about it....

If the cat has flees and parasites, most likeley the puppies has it too! And I would NOT buy from this store when they are not taking care of their own animals!!!

After losing my shepherd/husky mix at the age of 15 1/2, he was an amputee for 11 1/2 years, I wanted to go back to a small dog again. I grew up with poodles. After much research and a reference from a friend, I contacted Raising Rover and went to see their puppies with a friend. I was very pleased with the courtesy and accomodation of the staff in finding "my puppy". I saw her big black eyes, a maltipoo, and fell in love, and so did she. She is my baby, as I only have a grown child, and she is just a pleasure. I look forward to seeing her at the end of the day and she sleeps with me.
Thank you Raising Rover for a healthy, happy and beautiful Maltipoo. I couldn't ask for more.

In the past 3 years we have lost our 2 Labs.,both of them reached the age of 11 ( by the way were 2 of the best dogs anyone has ever had) We have never had a little dog before. but being that I have my elderly parents around all the time, I could not risk having a large dog jumping on them. So I did my research for a small dog. After much searching, I finally found a good breeder for Maltipoo's . I made my appointment and took off to the upstate area. 2 hours later I got there to meet her and her puppies. I was hoping that I would find my new love there! This breeder had been on a news channel because the news broadcaster had bought her dog there. So I thought how wonderful they must be! Looking at her website I saw a beautiful puppy and inquired if it was still available, she said yes. How exciting! Once I got there she was very nice and let me into her home. She let me in the back and showed me where the puppies were. Lets just say I was a little shocked. There were 5 to 6 puppies in 3 large crate with wire bottoms that had piss and poop all over them and the bottom of the crates.I had bought one of my Labs at a breeder and her dogs had the run of a closed off area and a yard, never in a crate with a wire bottom. Lets just say when the breeder took out the puppies they looked and smelled so dirty, so much so that I hesitated in picking them up. By the way the puppy that I had inquired about had just been taken home, imagine that! She took out 2 puppies for me to see and I asked to see another 2 hoping that I would feel something. No, I had a bad feeling. Once she realized that I wasn't buying a dog right away her whole attitude changed. Okay now I knew I was in the wrong place. Also, from being in the city a lot I had stopped people on the street who had small dogs and a few told me about Raising Rover. So from upstate New York I drove to Manhattan. I called ahead because now I was going to look at a different breed a King Charles , yes they had one. Great. I entered Raising Rover and everyone was extremely friendly. I didn't even say that I was looking for a dog. I spotted the beautiful King Charles. After disinfecting my hands I was looking at these beautiful puppies. Clean, happy and well taken care of.!I never wanted to look at a puppy store, but after that breeder! Well, I didn't get that King Charles because this little black Morkie looked at me and it was love at first site. We bought him the day before Father's day. Its been nothing but a love fest here. What a beautiful, well adjusted health puppy we have! I have never written a review for anything before. But I felt like I wanted people to know that some of these breeders out there have worse conditions then these puppy stores. Just like everything else you have to check around. I walked into some puppy stores and it pains me to see how the puppies are being taken care of. I walked into one puppy store in Manhattan , small place who had about 20 clear plastic , whatever you want to call them and almost every puppy was sleep maybe one was awake. That scared me! How did they get all these puppies to fall asleep at the same time? Thanks Jeff and your staff, you were very helpful to me ! If I were looking for another puppy or knew someone that was, I would be at your front door. Keep up the good work!

I visited Rasing Rover about a year ago while I was in town on business. I initially found it charming and enjoyed finding a specialty shop that I am unable to find at home.

However, after seeing how this owner responds to some of his customers reviews, I have to admit that I am afraid to step foot in that store ever again. I would absolutely NEVER purchase a puppy there because if anything ever were wrong with it, it doesn't appear I would be treated with any kind of respect, no matter how much money I spent.

Its one thing to defend your business practices, but to go as far as personal attacks and derogatory statements regarding previous customers? That is a huge clue toward the integrity of the business owner and is reason enough to remain skeptical of what is being sold.

AIthough I am in NYC often, I doubt I will be back to visit Raising Rover anytime soon simply because of the attitude the owner appears to have toward anyone who may have a problem with what they were sold.

My advice to anyone looking to shop at a fancy UES pet shop is to shop elsewhere or risk the wrath of the obviously unstable owner.

Being in sales myself, I find it such a shame that some business owners just don't understand the value in quality customer service and seek to slander anyone who may have a questionable experience.

I bought a Morkie puppy from this store 6 mths ago. We adore her but she has many problems from health issues to emotional problems. The dog is adorable and very loving to me but has extreme fear based aggression issues to the point that we can not have company in the house, she can not be around other dogs, I can not use a dog walker because she is so scared to walk on the street that I have to put her in a bag and walk her many blocks away because the minute I put her down she runs home, I have to watch her at all times because she lunges at people as well as dogs - and frankly everyone is terrified of my cute and adorable 6lb puppy. I have spent thousands of dollars already on trainers (private sessions with top NYC dog trainers - she was basically thrown out of a group class because she was too agressive and scared to be in a class) and spent hours and hours socilaizing her from the day I adopted her on the advice of trainers and my vet, leaving work early just so that she could go to puppy play group and class. She has become so bad now my vet has told me that I need to see a vetrinary behaviorist because the dog may need medicine. EVERY trainer I have worked with and my vet tell me that this type of fear agression is genetic so one of her parents had this problem or she was in a puppy mill environment. I called and asked to speak to the owners several times and I never received a call back, despite the fact that I spent over $2,000 at the store with all the extra crap they insisted I needed to buy including a bunch of food she cant eat because she has such bad allergies. All I can say is that my dog is very lucky that I adopted her because many other people would not have the patience, time or money to take care of her like I do and she would just be another cast away and I cringe to think what would have happended to her if she had been adopted by another family that would not have put up with her special needs. I do not fault the owners of this store for my dogs problems assuming they are in fact purchasing the dogs from reputable breeders but I take great issue with the fact that after spending so much money at their store that they could not even have the courtesy to retrun my calls

Hey Jeff and anyone else from Raising Rover... I was just so intrigued by your responses to the negative complaints that I had to sign up and say something. I was searching for a good place to get my dog cut. Everywhere I go they seem to not know what, "not too short" on a schnauzer is, so I decided to do research. Of course your store came up. As I read the reviews I was just astonished by the way you respond to people. You want to get the truth out but it makes you sound worse by calling people names and insulting their intelligence. And then to stoop to their level by saying, "Yes, I love my mommy." WOW! I am an actual person and not a friend of anyone on here so just trying to let you know that maybe your store should post friendlier replies to the negative comments. You have no idea how many people read your replies and you are not helping your business by replying the way that you are.

Contrary to recent reviews, I must say that i think Raising Rover and Baby Ltd. is a great store! Not only is it fantastic just to browse through, but my Pomeranian, Honey (1.5 years), and Yorkie, Peanut (8 months) from Raising Rover! They have been nothing but perfect puppies and always love to visit the store and get new goodies! The staff is also always very friendly and helpful !

I would recommend this store to any fellow UES in a heartbeat!

I got Tango from Raising Rover six months ago and he is, seriously, the best dog I've had since childhood. He was well behaved from day one, as well as peepad trained (which I love because sometimes I don't have the time to walk him). He did cry a bit in the beginning but now he's perfect and it's so funny when he runs on the sidewalk to go for his grooming at Raising Rover. He loves it there, always gets a treat and praise. As long as you have the time for a puppy, I would always recommend raising rover!!
The vet they recommend, Dr. Manning, was great. The staff is extremely nice and helpful with any questions I have about Tango.

I have a good friend. She is looking for a puppy. We have been reading reviews for a week. Lies , poor service & attitude seem to be the common theme for Raising Rover.

We are from the Upper East Side. I own a 5 year old dog. We used to groom @RR & had to stop after we were lied to by Jeff. To add insult to injury, when we confronted Jeff & called him on his lie - he became bitchy & displayed an ugly side that we had never seen before quite literally insisting we 'leave his store' with our dog- ONLY HALF GROOMED!!!

Just 15 minutes earlier, by phone, Jeff swore to us that the dog "had not been touched yet" (3 hours after drop off-which we found annoying & odd), so we stopped by moments later to check- imagine our surprise when we arrived and found our dog more matted than ever and half groomed.

We asked how moments earlier he could say the dog was, "not touched" on the phone which was now an obvious blatant lie- he flipped out while the entire store watched and became unhinged screaming at us to "get out of his store" while cursing over and over about being called a liar.

Now, i have never written a review for or against anything, but seeing so many reviews depict this guy Jeff as a raving lunatic and liar (which was my exact experience) - made me realize staying silent would be akin to guilt -as it seems he behaves this way often.

*****We've also noticed that Jeff responds to negative reviews all over the web- a sure sign of an unbalanced man child with obvious self-control + mommy issues.

Pros: Great to visit if you like being bitched out by the owner

Cons: Lies, Poor Service & Bitchy Attitude + Questionable Pups

The last review is completely false. This obviously nutty couple came to us from Hoboken New Jersey for a puppy. They purchased a Very healthy 12 week old Morkie puppy and the next day, The customer " Steve" called us telling of how he was terribly allergic to the puppy and of course we agreed to take the puppy back with a fair penalty. Steve of course complained and said why should there be any penalty after all he only had the puppy for a day. We have a penalty because when we send home a puppy we spend almost 2 hours in a private training session and must receive a new health certificate from the vet when we accept a puppy back for allergies( This is only fair).I explained to Steve we can give a full refund if their is a congenital defect or something that is serious.Of course, Steve said he will take the puppy to the vet to find a defect, so he could get a complete refund, ( How Sneaky is he?). He said he heard the puppy cough once or twice and read online that means the puppy has a serious collapsed trachea, WRONG !!!! He was so upset to find out the puppy was completely healthy except for a slight ear infection. What kind of a person returns a loving puppy for this reason? Not Even Steve....He returned the puppy because he was allergic!!!! Steve agreed to return the puppy with a penalty and thanked us for taking the puppy back, I even told him he can apply the penalty towards other merchandise in the store at a later time,After all we do have gifts and childrens clothing as well. Steve told me if we do the proper protocol and take the puppy back he knows how important a good review is and then sleazy Steve wrote his fictional review anyway. How about a thank you Steve!!!. PS..his wife worked for an animal hospital, probably the one he brought the puppy to, hoping they would find a defect or perhaps make one up.( which they did not ). By the way, The puppy is Happy ,Healthy and simply adorable !! .....as for your insults about Jennifer the " CHICK ", She is Truthful, Gentle and loves the puppies( Something Steve would never understand)....This is the TRUTH, The whole TRUTH, and nothing but the TRUTH.......AMEN !!!!

Pros: everything for puppies and babies

Cons: can't make everyone happy, but we do try !!!

.

We got our puppy on Saturday afternoon, by nighttime the poor puppy could barely keep its eyes open and was panting. Sunday she got worse. We feared the worse and brought her to the vet first thing Monday morning and found out that we had purchased a VERY sick puppy!!! We were told by Jen, the used car salesman-esqe chick at the store, that the puppy had just got a clean bill of health. bullS@%t!!! The vet said there is no way that someone checked this dog out and said it was fine. So we made the heartbreaking decision to return the dog because we purchased her under such false pretenses --and even though our payment had not even been processed we were not given a refund. There goes almost $2000 for two horrible and traumatic days. These people are SCUM!!! They sell SICK, most likely PUPPY MILL dogs with no regard for decency to their customers and those animals lives. DO NOT BUY A DOG HERE EVER!!!!! I'm now making sure I tell everyone i can, anyway i can to stay away fro this place.

We bought our beautiful chihuahua, Khloe, last October from Raising Rover. We had a wonderful experience with Jeff the owner. He was so knowledgable and helpful answering all of our questions. We immediately fell in love with Khloe -- and she has been a joy. Perfectly healthy and well-adjusted. Jeff is truly a genius in what he does!!! We would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends!!

Whenever I go to Raising Rover and Baby ., I am immediatley greeted by the staff . The store is always so very neat, and clean. I bought my mini red poodle there for an amazing price that I didn't find anyplace else. The owners are incredibly sweet and kind. They really know what they're doing! They have an excellent variety of clothing and accessories for your pampered pooch and your young prince or princess. I will always be a fan of raising Rover & Baby! I would reccommend this to all my friends and family, in fact, I already have!

The 11-week old puppy that we bought at Raising Rover had giardia!!! which is an intestinal protozoan infection which causes diarrhea and which can be transmitted to humans. Imagine my horror when I found out since I have three young children. I called the vet who cared for the store's puppies and was informed by the office that the store had been treating the puppies for the infection. I then called the saleswoman, Jen who sold me the puppy and she denied any knowledge of an infection. I'm not sure who to believe, but I suggested that she inform whomever had purchased the two puppies that had been housed with our puppy that their puppies may have acquired giardia. She said she would "look into it."

If you're thinking about getting a puppy from there, think again. If you've already purchased one from there, have the stool tested more often; the parasite/cysts may not be present in every stool.

My family and I purchased a puppy from raising rover in january, a little morkie who we named tootsie. Being a first time dog owner, I had no idea what I was doing or what supplies we needed but Jennifer and staff helped us step by step and went over everything very slowly for us. They asked us what our needs were and discussed all of the breeds with us to make sure we were leaving with the perfect puppy for our family (we have 2 younger children and my husband suffers from allergies as well). We were so happy with our experience there and have gone back to visit now that toosie has all of her shots :-). The only drawback is that i think their grooming is a little expensive, but no complaints here! Thanks raising rover!

Pros: healthy happy looking puppies, helpful, knowledable staff

Cons: expensive grooming

.

Raising Rover intentionally misrepresents the puppies they sell and the breeders they use.

I bought a hybrid breed (minature bulldog) only to find out 9 months later it was a full size bulldog. I paid "mini bulldog" prices, and he assured me this was a "real" mini and other places are tricking ppl into buying them.

The minis are supposed to have better health and longer lives. So, $4k later, I have a full sized bulldog w/ health problems.

Please trust me and do not buy any dog or trust RAISING ROVER & BABY on LEX. I have no agenda but to help others not be duped by the owner Jeff, who is a crook.

ps-after minimal research, i've found numerous other ppl who were duped by Raising Rover as well

My poodle "LOLA" is everything we wanted, adorable, sweet, and so damn smart !!! My husband and myself travel back and forth from the east coast to the west coast and LOLA always joins us. She is just a dream dog and I wanted to thank raising rover on this public site. Every time I shop there I buy a new dog carrier, they are like handbags. We also bring LOLA in for grooming when we are back in New York, she comes out looking like a little princess. I would tell anyone to trust raising rover.

i got my puppy-Bella there in May and I had nothing but the best experience. Bella is my first puppy I have ever gotten and I would ONLY buy puppies in the future from Raising Rover. I call at least one time a week to ask questions and they are always so helpful on the phone. We are in the neighborhood and even visit the store quite often to visit the new puppies as well as Jeff and Frankie. I love my hava-poo and i am soooooo thankful I bought her at raising rover. She is perfectly trained, healthy and sooooooo cute. I LOVE RAISING ROVER!

I purchased my first puppy from Rasing Rover nearly 3 years ago only to find myself so in love with him that we purchased another one 6 months later as a birthday present for my son. Again nothing but a great experience, so once again went for puppy #3 the following christmas...one for each of my 3 children! We all could not express to them how grateful we are to them for making our family complete. They guided us in the right direction on which puppy would be best with young children to which dogs will get along best with eachother. They couldnt have been more right, every bit of advise they gave us was 100% accurate. We went back to them to purchase a puppy for my sons girlriend for her sweet 16...another perfect choice, she was thrilled and the puppy is beautiful.Since then 3 of her family members have gone to puchase puppies from Raising Rover along with numerous friends of ours. We are also involved in a large fund raiser for a charity for sick children that they have always donated a puppy to us to give away and they have made whoever received the puppy the happiest people in the world! So if I could say anything else about Raising Rover it would be that there is NO better place to go if you are looking to add a puppy to your family and no better staff to guide you in the right direction!

i was just browsing citysearch for pet stores and came upon these recent posts. i have to say that i'm shocked that the owner/manager whatever would take the time to write such a nasty post about a customer. i will certainly not be shopping here. obviously this woman was upset about receiving a very sick puppy and is letting others know her experience - the whole purpose of this site. for the owner to say awful things about her as a person is just disgusting. if i shopped for my new puppy here, what would he be thinking or saying about me?! i don't want to find out.

Jeff (owner) and Frankie are sooo helpful and knowledgeable. They helped set me up with all that I needed for my new pup and even told me to call with any questions. I did and they never got annoyed with my questions. Referred me to a great vet too!

A Baby and Rover (aka: Raising Rover and Baby - nice name switch) is not what it seems. This store made my life miserable for weeks after I bought a "purebred" puppy from them. What I got instead was an extremely sick dog who almost died. I also found out after the fact that the dog is actually not pure-bred (DNA results don't lie).

The owner claimed that he only uses local breeders that he has known for many years. THIS IS NOT TRUE. My dog was bred at a mill in Missouri. I know this because I met the breeder.

Once we found out the dog was terribly sick I got numerous calls from the owner begging me to take our dog to "their vet" for care instead of using our own vet. I took the dog to their vet where it received hideous care and was handed back to me , lifeless and lethargic. Plus, the vet acknowledged that it has a mutually beneficial financial arrangement with Raising Rover/A Baby and Rover (whatever) making me feel like the dog came last. In fact, the vet called the owner before calling me to update him of our dog's condition. The day I picked our dog up from "their vet" I had to immediately take it to the animal hospital where it spent the next 3 days in intensive care.

And to top things off, Raising Rover and Baby continued to use my dog's picture online to solicit interest in his puppy mill dogs. It took weeks for me to get him to stop. By the way, the dog online was $800 less than what I paid. If you want to take a gander at all the free ads he currently has online, just type his phone number into google. You will love the part in his ads where he claims that he is "not a puppy farmer."

Oh and the breeder was kind enough to tell me that once my puppy died she had a whole new litter being delivered to Raising Rover and Baby next week so I could easily just pick out a new one.

I think my two Havanese puppies are very special. We bought a brother and sister at the same time, and yes it was rough with training the first few weeks, but now they are just perfect. The staff always gives us helpful advise when we call . We even are in contact with their breeder in upstate new york. I was concerned about the breeder, but she really does care about her puppies.we live near the store and everyone in the neighborhood has a puppy from them and it's all good. If you are not going rescue a pet, I do recommend them.

ALL pet stores sell puppy mill dogs. If you don't know what a puppy mill is then google it. If you had bought a puppy from a pet store and want to know what puppy mill it came from you can find out for free at petshoppuppies org why spend all the money for a puppy that was not bred properly when you can adopt a puppy thta has been fully vetted at a much lower cost. All these owners of puppy stores do is support puppy mills. They spend 200 tops for a puppy than sell it for over a thousand. Spend 200 at a rescue and save your money

After reading all the reviews online for RR. We went to the Raising Rover yesterday to know about French Bulldog that we are looking to buy for this September 2009 when we get a dog friendly apartment and for our surprise Jeff and his staffs are very customer oriented very helpful nice and know about their dogs. I have been to 5 different pet stores in NYC and trust me i have seen puppies in cages which are dirty and puppies look so unhealthy. I'm really looking forward to buying frenchie from RR. Hope Jeff has cute nice frenchie puppy for me come this september,so i can write more about the whole experience. But for now with their friendly environment and great customer service I highly recommend this place.

I've visited most of the pet stores in Manhattan as I hope to purchase a puppy soon to replace the love of my life--my mini schnauzer who died about 4 years ago at age 15. I was very put off by most of the stores I visited where the puppies seemed listless, dirty and downright sick. The puppies at Raising Rover are bouncy, clean, healthy, friendly and just incredible. I've visited several times and always found them to be so. I can't go by without wanting to buy them all. The store is beautiful with fabulous merchandise and friendly staff.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff and his operation. I walked into his store/community from an internet ad and I was prepared to be very negative about the fact that this was a "pet store". But my mind was quickly changed by the other customers who were buying second dogs from him and who were visiting the store with dogs they had already gotten from Jeff. I sensed that this was in a very positive community created by Jeff and his team. Jeff honored the internet price for our wonderful, good natured, great with kids, smart, trainable, healthy, Havapoo (Havadoodle) puppy named Pekoe. She has such a good temperament that she has qualified to become a therapy dog. As a first time dog owner, he helped me and my 8 year old daughter Paloma in every way possible and even gave me his cell phone number. Jeff helped us through a mini crisis because our hypo allergenic puppy had played with non hypo allergenic puppies and my daughter had an allergic reaction (Imagine the heartbreaking drama). He told me what to do (bathe her), not to worry no matter what, and it worked! I have recommended him to at least 10 people who have stopped me on the street demanding to know where they can get a dog like ours. The dog is a gem, and the service was beyond my expectations. And he didn't try to push any of the fancy shmancy dog accoutrement on me. A happy story and a truly satisfied customer! P.S. - the vet that he recommends (East Side Animal Hospital) turned out to be $200 cheaper than a Chelsea vet for the spaying. Again, another excellent recommendation on Jeff's part.

This is where I was "born". Everyone says I'm soooooooo beautiful, especially when I'm groomed at Raising Rover. I have to admit I'm also very silly when me and Moosedog and Susan go to visit. It was such a happy place for me as a wee puppy -- I jump all over Jeff when I see him. In fact I start wiggling and yipping two blocks from the store when Moosedog and Susan tell me we're going to visit. We always have a grand time visiting the Raising Rover family and hope they are around here for years and years to come!

I cannot tell you how much I love to shop at this store. Besides the best conversations, I find the most amazing merchandise. I buy clothes and shoes for my dogs and always baby gifts for my friends. I pass the store on the way home and I am there all the time. The staff is alot of fun and I think the puppy and baby concept is great !!!

I purchased great clothes for my dogs and children. I always find the staff cheerful and helpfull. The puppies are always well cared for and having fun with the customers. My kids adore the store they tell everyone how much they love to go to raising rover after I pick them up from school. They had a coat made for my dog and it fit perfectly. I use to shop in Petco, but not anymore... Raising Rover really did complete our neighborhood.

So, I went to this gorgeous puppy and baby boutique december 12th, 2008, and purchased a new puppy for my children. We traveled from Massapequa, Long Island to purchase the newest member of our family. It is a French Bulldog named Rocky. It is not only a protector but a cute addition to the family, and my kids couldn't be happier. We take family trips into Manhattan, and buy a wardrobe for him, even a personalized collar that they made for us. And my husband loves the fact that most of the items are made in the U.S.A.. The service is wonderful, and the owners take great care in their work. After I bought the puppy, the manager Phyllis kept in contact with me throughout my journey, until I fully understood how to care for my Rocky. And what was cool is while I was picking up Rocky, I saw Christian Siriano, from Project Runway, purchasing his puppy! I highly recommend this store!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD GO THERE!

I bought a Morkie at this store October 19, 2008. It is an amazing joy to have and it is was obviously raised properly by it's breeders. I bought cute, little outfits and dresses for my little CocoChanel, and I even bought little boots to match them. Also I bought a couple diamond studded collars that were oh, so adorable. I can always find something in the amount I want to spend, but I can't deny that i love bringing along my parents so I can buy so much more. Also, along with everything i bought for my puppy, I also was able to get her groomed. I buy clothes and accessories for all my baby cousins! The outfits are SCRUMPTIOUS, and I've bought many outfits there for my aunt's new twins, and she absolutely adores what I get! I highly recommend this store to anyone, because you will always have a positive experience!

My husband drove all the way from Morris County, NJ to get our new cavaweenie puppy for a family christmas gift. He had such a wonderful experience- not only did he rave about the beautiful store but also how helpful everyone who worked there was. We now have an amazing new addition to our family and we couldn't be happier! Our new dog is beautiful, happy, and healthy.
