Fiamma Steak is the best steak house that I have ever eaten at and I have been to many steak houses throughout the country! The chopped salad is delicious and is big enough to feed 2-4 people. I have had the filet, ribeye, cowboy steaks as well as the fried chicken and gnocchi. The appetizers are phenomenal as well and the desserts are to die for! Every thing on the menu has been fantastic and I always bring lots of leftovers home! The owner, Noel, was very welcoming and seems to have a very good business sense. The food is definitely worth the price and I recommend this restaurant to everyone that I know.

Everything was great. Food is a la carte. Great service! Staff was very helpful, and I like being able to buy only what I want and not what they choose for me to have.

You never know when a friend of a friend recommends something, especially when neither friend has been to the place. So we sashayed into Fiamma with no expectations, declining the valet parking, and firing questions at a gentleman at the bar who appeared to be of management stripes. How is the food? What are the quality - specifically the grade - of the steaks? A customer at the bar interrupted. The food is really good, he said. So we stayed. We're glad we did.

Both salads, for example, were perfect. The harvest salad and the steakhouse salad were ample, of fresh and quality ingredients and exceeding our expecations. The meats, however, convinced us that we should return. The special of the night, a huge ribeye, was marinated and served as ordered. It was delicious, thick, and tasting of good quality beef. We prefer if the grade of beef - in this case - real certified angus, is
impressive, there be no seasoning, but nonetheless this was a joy to consume. Same with lamb chops. These two hungry carnivores had enough for snacks the next few days.

What bothered us was the intense disco that played loudly throughout our meal. Imagine praying while water dripped on your head. Very annoying. Classical, jazz, Sinatra, Cole Porter, Gershwin. Anything but that. Please. We cannot imagine that the folks who would afford to quality of this place would want to be serenaded in such an obsterperous manner.

My BF & I went there for my birthday because of some good reviews I found elsewhere.
The food was good and innovative, I got a pan seared sea scallop over a bed of crispy onion bits with a creole mustard sauce. The BF ordered an appetizer that was a special -a seafood salad-. It was cold cooked calamari (squid if you wish) and he loved it because it wasn't chewy like most places cook it. With also scallop & shrimp in there.
The BF got a steak with garlic mashed potatoes, the steak was perfectly cooked. I ordered a pan seared whitefish with lobster mashed potatoes which was really good also. I also got a pear martini that was really good.
We were meeting people for dessert afterwards so we did not try their dessert but it looked appetizing. The service was great, our waiter was very nice to us, he was willing to offer insight as to what the key ingredients of the dishes were. He even brought us by two miniature desserts at the end when I didn't order any!
Overall I was really satisfied with our dinner and would definitely recommend it to others.

Cons: Location. It's got a decent sky roof but you're looking at a fast lube across the street!

Definately big enough to share with the table, yet we all unknowingly ordered our own vege and potatoe. Same with the salads. The waiter should have told us they were big enough for 2 or 3 of us to. All in all we were pretty full after the salads.
The service was terrible! The waiter (and I wish I could remember his name) acted like we were inconviencing him when we asked for something. For instance when asking for something as simple as more water, the waiter said the bus boy would fill it. The bus boy finally came by when our meal was over. I ordered my fillet med-well, when it came back, I cut it open and it was med-rare AT BEST. It took 10 mins for the waiter to come back and see if everything was ok. He agreed to take back the steak to cook it more, and 10 mins later it comes back. He literally put it on the table and walked away. I cut the steak open for the second time, and though it does look better, not even close to med-well. I ended up giving the steak to another server because ours was no where in sight. It comes back well done, no complaints except now I have a $35 fillet, cut into cubes, dry as a bone with no juices left. The rest of the table was finished eating, and I my steak alone while my friends drank coffee!

If you go, SHARE the salads and side dishes, and skip the steak unless you want to eat it the way the cook wants to make it.

We arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 reservation. The place was crowded and the bar was full. We made contact with the hostess and proceeded to have a glass of wine at the bar.

For the next 45 minutes we went to check in with the hostess. They NEVER came to us (even thought the hostess station is about 15 feet from where we were.). At 8, I went back the last time and asked pointed questions about how long it was going to be and why we were not seated. I got the feeling it was overbooked and when the owner came over, he told me we were not going to be seated. He had given our table away. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. He advised that he did not care for the way I spoke to his hostess staff.

None of our group was belligerent. My questions were to get an understanding on why we were still waiting. I did not raise my voice nor was I disrespectful. None of group got angry, we just left. This experience did not ruin our evening as we went to another restaurant (which I will review very favorably) and enjoyed an incredible meal at half the price.

Be aware, the owner of the restaurant needs lessons in customer service. He also needs to understands that this is not the only restaurant in town. AND, it is not the only upscale steak place in town - the Chophouse and EB Green's are much better. It is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had.

Dining is an experience and not just the food. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS HOW I FEEL.
