After my first experience with Stone Travel, our travel agent (Debbie Rainbow) almost reuined my wedding. My husband and I got married aboard a cruise ship and we wanted to fly our guest down a day ahead of time. Debbie booked half of us at one hotel and the other half at another hotel. Then she screwed up our transportation to the ship. My father paid over $300 more to fix her mistake and was never reimbursed or given an apology.
I used her again in Feb 08 (thinking she wouldn't dare mess up again) because we needed an agent to get a discount and she again screwed up our transportation to our ship. If you use stone travel, be aware that Debbie will not be there if you are in trouble. I located her cell # through a friend and called it for help because we were in another state and didn't have transportation. Debbie called me back but then exploded on me because I called her on her personal time (which was Saturday around 2 in the afternoon). She was more concerned on how I got her number than our situation. She yelled at me so badly that I couldn't even talk to her anymore. The hotel manager then informed us that Debbie called her and screamed at her also and then went on to make nasty remarks to the manager about us. Stating that we were awful customers. I can't even tell you, how awful this experience was. This agent will act like the nicest person but once you leave for your trip, don't expect her to help you. Once she has her commission check, she's considers herself done with you. If it weren't for Royal Caribbean cheering me up, this would have been a horrible trip. I'm SHOCKED that Stone Travel has kept her employed after the complaint I had made about her. If you do end up using her, GOOD LUCK!!! and remember DO NOT CALL HER WHEN YOUR IN TROUBLE. She will scream at you and talk about you behind your back. You would also think that Stone Travel would offer us something for our troubles. NOPE! We deserve her commission check to go towards one fo our cruises
