Terrible place! As previous review also mentioned, the owner is very money hungry and a terrible business person. More like a con artist. I was promised the venue would be a private party only for me and my guests, when we arrived there

Took my kids to Chelsea Playground for the 1st time. I was very hesitant to go because of the price - $9.99 per child, $4.99 per adult, + tax. They charge full price for small children (paid $9.99 for my 15 mth old). The playground is set up very nicely. The play area is gated and children need to remove their shoes before entering. You receive a wristband for your entire party. The left and right side are set up like a town with different shops (veterinarian, post office, grocery store, etc). Each shop has different activities. The kids loved it. In the back there was a climbing area with nets, slides, and a small toddler play area. In the center there is an area to eat but you cannot bring outside food. There is a snack bar but after spending $27 for me and my 2 kids to get in I did not purchase anything. The area is convenient from the West Shore Expwy but is very industrial. The parking lot was small and when we arrived there was a party so the lot was full. There is on street parking but if you park across the street you have to park right against the weeds to stay off the road, and you will be unable to use your passenger side doors. There is also a lot of truck traffic. It was a little on the small side, I can see it getting overcrowded on a weekend, or when school is out.
Overall I liked the place and so did my kids. It was clean, and there were a lot of play areas. But the price will keep me from returning often. Maybe if they got rid of the adult fee or maybe a reduced fee for under 2.

Pros: Imaginative play, Food, Clean

Cons: Price, Parking, Location
