I have been training with Clay for over ten years. He is one of the best in the business. He is able to calibrate exactly how far he can push me so that I get a lot out of my workout and keep coming back. He keeps things interesting by mixing up the workout so I don't know what to expect. I am more fit and toned than I ever could be without him. I love going to the gym. I have also trained with Elizabeth who is fantastic. She helped me get back up to speed after maternity leave while Clay was away touring with Springsteen. I can't say enough about Clay and Elizabeth and would recommend them to anyone.

I am a c6/c7 quad with muscles approaching atrophy. Both Clay and Elizabeth stretched me out and really improved my range of motion. Not only does this help with the atrophy it also improves my muscle spasms and in turn my life! Not only did they do a great job they educated my wife and I on household therapy. A definite 5 star!

I've trained with Cher one-on-one and in her Bootcamp class. This woman is no joke, but she keeps me laughing through the workout. Don't misunderstand the sessions are tough and downright challenging. But it's soooooo worth it. I'm stronger, faster, leaner and d**n near fly because of Cher.

Reggie Chambers is a phenomenal trainer. He trained me through my pregnancy and helped me get into shape after pregnancy. He tailors each workout according to his clients' strengths, weaknesses, body type and goals. He is extremely knowledgeable and really fun to work out with.

I've been working out with Khari for several years and can't say enough to recommend him. His workouts are creative and personalized. He knows just how far he can push you and gets maximum results from the time available. The attitude at High Performance is no-nonsense and the workouts are often more functional than just pumping away on some machines.

It sounds corny, but training with Khari has changed my life. I'm now well past the dread four-oh, but I'm also way more fit than I was ten or even fifteen years ago. I guarantee if you work out with Khari you will not only look better, you'll feel better than you ever have.

Let me start by saying - I HATE the gym and I hate anything resembling a gym workout. Weights bore me, the treadmill and elliptical machines put me to sleep. Just getting to the gym was a mental battle for me...and not because I'm lazy. I was a pre prefessional ballet dancer but at the age of 21 I had to stop dancing due to injuries. 6 years later...I was overweight and in the worst shape of my life. I heard some pretty kick a$$ things about Cher and decided to give her a shot.
Nothing was even close to what I expected...it was way better. I walked into high performance expecting some super posh snotty vibe and was blown away at how down to earth everyone was. I was literally sharing the floor with an A list celebrity and a house mom...and both were getting the same killer workout.
Cher never takes anything less than 100% from me. I was sweating like a beast within the first 10 minutes of our session....and when she said "we are done" i was shocked the time went by so fast. Yesterday we were boxing and i felt like my arms were going to fall off and somehow she amped me up so hard I got a second wind of energy...im telling you - she is THAT good.

They offer great personal training, offering one-on-one and small group training. Their traineres specialise in integrating a variety of different strategies according to your personal needs. My friend is now in the best shape of her life and is very satisfied with her results.

I have NEVER looked or felt better in my life and I owe it all to Elizabeth. I have been working out with Elizabeth for a year now and she is amazing. She uses huge variety of work out styles and training. It never gets old or repeatative. Doing the same old thing is what I stuggle with when working out and she never lets me get bored. I started going to Elizabeth to get in shape for my wedding and I don't think I can ever stop going to her, I am totally addicted. High performance is always clean and the enviroment is possitive and fun. What more could any one want from a gym.

I've trained at a lot of gyms from LA to Miami Beach to NYC and hands down High Performace is the best private gym for personal training. It is a clean, new facility and has the best group of trainers around. Deemsy Arias is my trainer and he really knows what he is doing. He will push you beyond where you think you can go. High Performance is a phenomanal enviroment. It is a private gym, conveniently located between 5th and 6th Ave on 14th. The gym is a very condusive space for private training. This place is awesome. Clay Burwell and his staff are highly adept in all areas of fitness. If your an athlete who wants to improve your game or if you just want to get in shape this is the place for results. My fitness level has improved dramaitcly in a short time. These are not the kind of trainers you get a free session with when you join a health club chain, these guys really know there stuff.
