Me and my GF had a great time at this place. I was going back for a great night in the city after a little time off. Did not expect to get a table and did expect to wait an hour for a seat on a Sat evening without a Res.
They went out of their way to get us a seat. Both of us really enjoyed the food a lot, one of the best meals I have had in a long time but I am not a Manhattan foodie. A real unique taste to the food and a good job by the chef who you can clearly see and taste takes pride in his/her work.
The bartender was awesome and brought a true sense of what it means to be living and loving NYC and that is really what I loved about the entire experience. Maybe a bit off the lower Manhattan path for some but well worth the venture.
Pros: Great Staff And Really Good Food
Cons: Realy None

Our server (Grant?) was great and the food was very good. The croquettes and octopus were awesome, though the fettuccini with meatballs I wouldn't order again, it was average. The hostess though took a long time to seat us, despite the fact that it was early and the place was not nearly full. She was a bit offputting.
Pros: food, wait staff
Cons: hostess

the RUDEST delivery people. i went from ordering EVERY day and taking my entire team to business lunches and status meetings here, to never again stepping foot in. i do NOT need a pretentious host giving me attitude on the phone when i am ordering a 12 dollar salad. ruined the entire experience for me.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

This place has the best fries in the city - hands down - and is also good place to hang and eat small bites. We found it the other night. The food is like tapas, but we also had a lamb ragu with ricotta and mint that was perfect. Started with some fries and ended up eating our way through croquettes and then the ragu. The wine list is mostly Spanish and they have a lot of wines by the glass. We will be back!
Pros: excellent food
Cons: did not know it was there

I was lucky enough to get to try many of the dishes as I shared with others and tasted a lot of different things on the menu ? which was great because if I had to pick one dish on the menu that would have been hard. I loved the creative combination of flavors that truly came together perfectly. Blackened hanger steak with horseradish sauce (I am still craving), scallops over white beans with pancetta (holla) and miso glaze cod, round ravioli (nodi)? delish. And for dessert I had Spanish Churros dipped in hot chocolate sauce yum?and the music and atmosphere made it a great night for the group ? I will definitely go back or bring clients here!
Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Private dining in a wine cellar (for parties/meetings),Service, location...

I just happened to walk by with my husband and see that the old Giorgione was newly reopened and is now called 508. It has new owners now, and the food was just fabulous when we went on thursday. We shared the octopus and the most tender pork belly, soooo good!! Then we tried the ravioli pasta (nudie??) and my husband splurged for the steak and it was gigantic and delicious! For dessert we had brownie and an interesting ice cream, I think it had rosemary in it, very different and I keep thinking about it. I recommend this place!
Next I would try the lunch!
