Amazing food and reasonable prices

This evening my husband and I took a short trek out to brooklyn in search of a casual yet cozy place to enjoy dinner in celebration of our sixth wedding anniversary. What we found nestled on Smith St. was a nice italian restaurant with great tasting food, nice portions, tasty sangria's, an attentive staff, and nice live music. The prices were very fair as we enjoyed multiple courses, dessert, and plenty of sangria, yet we managed to keep the bill under $120. We will definitely return. I'd give this place 5 stars, as it was appealing to almost all of my senses. The only drawback was that the bathroom needed some TLC. Good bathrooms are non-negotiable to me so...thats that. Please visit this restaurant you'll be happy you did. It's close to subways and offers plenty of parking options if you're a driver. Also, Pane E Vino is pretty close to the brooklyn bridge if you're interested in some post dinner sight seeing or just in the mood to walk off your indulgent meal!
Pros: hefty portions, romantic setting, patio or indoor options
Cons: Not the best looking bathroom

What a PERFECT spot!
by NeriG
We ventured to Brooklyn for my aunts 40th. Pane e Vino was the PERFECT choice. Firstly, Smith St has a great vibe with lots of places to stop along the way. Pane e Vino was delicious, the band was great (Cuban jazz) and was perfect to enjoy after dinner. We ate in the garden, which was candle-lit and romantic. Service was great, food was great, and price was unbelievable. For 6 people, appetizers, 2 bottles of wine and additional cocktails, it was just over $200! I WILL BE BACK!
Pros: food, PRICE, ambiance
Cons: none

Great food, Great ambiance
by BushwickTao
I met a couple of friends here last week and what really stood out was the ambiance. They have a real relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We sat by the lounge chairs in front so we didn't get to sit in the garden but I'll definitely have to try that soon. I ordered a boneless cornish hen and it tasted very fresh, which is not always the case at some of these places on Smith St. We felt so comfortabe that we ended up staying for more wine and cocktails after dinner. I didn't try the cocktails but their wine list is very good. I would definitely recomend it. Seems like a great date spot, too.
Pros: Food, ambiance, Price
Cons: None

Authentic Italian food and a beautiful atmosphere
by LauraM2077777
Went to Pane e Vino for a friend's baby shower and loved it so much that I have made it "the" place to go for any occasion (romantic dinner, night out with the girls, large-group celebrations, etc.) The place is aesthetically stunning with a gorgeous garden that's open all year and drenched with candle light in the evening. The staff is warm and extremely accommodating- they make you feel like you're family.
As for the food- I've never been disappointed. The calamari is always tender, the fish and meats are expertly cooked and seasoned perfectly, the pasta dishes are fresh, and the desserts are decadent. I love to go on the weekends for drinks and appetizers in the lounge area at the bar- there are lots of comfy couches and great live music. And on top of everything, the prices are great!
