Do NOT use LeMuse Photography for your wedding or special event! The fact that they have a nice portfolio does in no way offset all of the negative factors, such as the way they treat customers and the fact that they lose video footage!!!
My husband and I hired LeMuse Photography for our wedding for Sept 2009. We purchased a package with two photographers and two videographers for our special day based off the portfolio we saw in their office. We liked Lenny Wolf and Oleg Zinkovetsky and trusted that our wedding day would be captured the way we wanted. They promised us that if we were prompt in responding, then we would have our wedding album by Thanksgiving (about 2 months after our wedding) and our wedding video by the end of the year.
This is not at all what happened. We liked our photos, although there was no touching up or photo-shop to any of them. We chose the pictures for our album within 2 days of receiving them. However, we did not receive our actual album until July of 2010 (TEN MONTHS after our wedding!) The album order was incorrect and our mini albums were missing from the order.
It took us SEVEN months to receive our Thank-You DVD??s (a 10 minute video of highlights of our wedding to send instead of a thank you note), even though they promised us these videos would be ready within a month or two of the wedding. It is now January of 2011, a year and five months since our wedding, and we have yet to receive the final version of our wedding video!
As if that was the only problem? LeMuse Photography is completely ignorant and their customer service is horrendous! We have been attempting to contact them for months on end and they simply ignore all of our phone calls, text messages and emails. They avoided us for 5 months because they were afraid to tell us that they lost half the footage from our wedding day!!!!!!
We agreed that they would return us a portion of the cost of our package (which we have yet to receive and which does not compensate for the missing moments from my wedding) and that they would complete the remainder of the wedding video. We received a draft of our wedding video, which looked completely amateur! We sent all of our comments asking them to change our video and they kept returning an unchanged video. Finally, we drove for over an hour to meet with them at their office (not for the first time either) and had them sit through our video. Our entire video looked like it was taken by one videographer, with only one angle, while we had paid for two! Also, there were additional parts and important toasts that were missing!!!
About 3 months ago, they sent us a text message saying they needed to send our footage out somewhere to be converted, whatever that means. For over three months now we have been consistently chasing them around trying to get an answer on what is going on with our video. They blatantly ignore all of our attempts at contacting them. Not only that, but we are hearing that all of the friends we referred to them are also having issues where they are unhappy or cannot get in touch with them. They do not know how to run a business or deliver what they promise to their customers. We are at the point where we are preparing to file a legal suit against them and we have already filed a claim with Better Business Bureau!
Stay away from LeMuse Photography. They treat customers horribly and lose video footage!!
