So now that I am totally in love with long island city, we have had dinner at all of the local restaurants on the waterfront. This restaurant features outdoor dining by the new park they have built with sushi, chinese, thai, japanese dishes. You just cannot go wrong. Amazing chandeliers!!!

We were very pleased with the service. We were a party of 14 people and the service was excellent. Our orders and drinks were serviced correctly and in a timely manner. The waiter was very attentive. The food was extremely good and with all the different orders the food was served perfectly.The prices were very reasonable. There's a beautiful view of NYC . We would recommend this restaurant.

I was totally fulfilled with the choice of coming here for Valentine Day. The atmosphere was great...nice dim lighting very romantic...the view was exceptional....the NYC skyline is breathtaking @ night....the food was delicious!!!...service attentive....so overall I recommend :)

Shi Restaurants is gorgeous, and the views are amazing because you on the water. The music that plays is steamy and fun, and the service is always there to help. The food was great. We had a few different dishes and shared them. A few sushi rolls that were priced really well, the main dishes were asian fusion style. All different flavors. We had a few drinks, and they were sweet and strong.
The bar is definetly a fun place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night. Make sure to call and make reservations. Definetely a perfect place for a private party.
Cannot wait to go back.

Tried Shi for the first time on Sunday night. Food was pretty good. Edamame, summer roll, and sushi rolls were all very good. The Blast roll was especially tasty - had a nice spicy kick to it. The sake infused cod was good (big portion too) and the buddha delight was very good. I *loved* that they offered white or brown rice with the mains. Most places don't automatically offer and when you ask for it there's an extra charge for brown rice. The sake recommended by our waiter was pretty bland so we wont be trying that one again. We got a window table so got the best possible view of the Manhattan skyline. Overall I'd recommend it.

Its a great place to have dinner and then grab a few drinks. Wonderful view of the city with great people to hang with. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and forget the stress of everyday.

If you are looking for a snobby joint, this is NOT the place for you. The food is a good balance of quality vs. quantity and the prices are fairly reasonable. My friends and I tried it out on a Friday night. They had a DJ that played a pretty good variety of music. We would not hesitate to return if we wanted to stay local on a Fri or Sat night.
