I love spa week. It's one of the best parts of living in NYC. So, I was so disappointed when this service was just weird and painful. I wanted to like this place! It's clean, modern friendly and just looks lovely however it ends there. It was just a very strange, and painful facial. 1) I've never had a facial where I didn't disrobe and it was very awkward having my fleece sweater on while being steamed rather than wearing a nice robe. 2) The extractions were waaaay to aggressive! I literally have bruises and red spots all over my face. When I exited the woman dealing with the $ just looked at me with horror and then made a comment about how horrible I looked. 3) I know NY is small...but really? why was I sharing a room with another guest? there could have a least been a curtain.

Pros: Stylish, Spa Week

Cons: No private room, facial too severe, no robe

Everything I had heard about the Delluva Day Spa was true - their sole purpose in life is to pamper and relax you. The wine themed decor was a nice twist, adding to the atmosphere. The massage I had was wonderful and left me wanting more.

I received a gift certificate to Delluva and what a treat. My first impression of the changing room was small, but it served its purpose. The massage therapist was phenomenal, professional and respectful. The relaxation room decor and atmosphere was refreshing. They serve you wine and fruit, which was delicious. Delluva is a definite spa for spa-goers who want to be treated right; they don?t rush and take their time so your needs are met.

Bliss Midtown is the place I go for deep tish massages in the city (My best 3 massages so far are.. Mii amo SPA in Sedona, Ritz Carlton Spa Half Moon Bay in SF and Bliss Midtown in NYC.) but it's a little far from my place so I tried one in Tribeca. I loved the location and inside atmosphere but the massage by M. was O.K. (Not great...) If I pay about same amount of money, I think I have to go back to Bliss....Or should I try another therapist? I don't know...

With the spa market over-saturated and every idiotic management team clammoring for something unique to offer to guests, they tend to forget about good old fashioned respect, experienced therapists and a knowledgable, warm, friendly staff. Delluva delivers on all fronts. The space is pretty, the people are cool & down to earth, the neighborhoods happening and most importantly, at least for me, when I went in there, I felt respect, not just for me beacuse "I'm the customer and the customers always right", but for everyone, the customers, the desk staff, management, therapists...everybody. I spa a lot..and this was a refreshing break from the usual stuck-up-ness, cluelessness and overall chaos and lack of order that so many NYC spas have today. Whoever manages this place deserves a bit of gratitude, I was really impressed and will definitely be back...and Im bringing friends, lots of them. My only issue was I requested a male therapist when I booked and got a female when I got there. Don't get me wrong...she was good, but wasnt what I asked for. However, thats an honest mistake that happens from time to time, so Im not going to hold it against you guys this time. I highly reccomend this place to everyone, men, women, couples, groups. They do it right at Delluva..and most importantly again...they respect you and themselves while they're doing it. Hats off to you guys, keep it up!!!

I stopped in for a massage after a few months out of town and this place just keeps improving. Not only was my massage fanatastic, they added a hair salon as well. I needed a haircut and they took me right after my massage and it was perfect. I'm usually pretty finicky with my hair and they did everything possible to make sure that I left satisfied with the cut. I couldn't recommend this place any more! Great massage, free snacks (and Wine tasting too!!), and now, great hair cuts!

I recently went there with 14 girlfriends for a bridal party, I arrived a little late for a massage. They would not try to move the schedule around with one of the other girls who had a massage later than I did for me to have a treatment... so I asked if I could get another treatment, perhaps a manicure or pedicure they also could not accomodate me for that either.. at the end of the day after 13 out of 14 girls received treatments and paying over $2,000. they decided that they had to charge me $60 for a treatment I did not receive. When I called a week later to see if I there was anything they could do, the answer was NO!!!! This place obviously, needs to learn a little more customer service... I would never go back or recommend this place to any of my friends..... They decided that $60 is more important than to have any of us back for any future Spa days.

this place is freaking amazing. i saw sophie (sophia?) for highlights (50% off through lifebooker!!!!) and am more satisfied than i could ever imagine. i'll admit it: i orginally came here because of the good deal. but now i will absolutely be a loyal customer for as long as i live in nyc. sophie was really cool (read: trendy, but not so much so that she'll give you a crazy cut 'for fun'), listened to what i wanted, and did an amazing job. she's incredibly personable and enromously talented--i went in there with a clear idea of what i wanted (blonder, warmer highlights that complements my skin), and she gave me exactly that, adding in a few touches that made me look so much better than what i orginially requested. sometimes you can't really put what you want 'into words'............well, she must be a mind-reader and i am totally grateful. there was absolutely no sales pressure (which i hate) and the free blowout i got afterwards made me feel chic and fabulous:) i could go on and on.........but suffice to say that if you pick her for your hair you will not be disappointed!! i already can't wait to go back. thanks delluva!!!

One of my favorite spas in the city. I've been here twice. I've had deep tissue and hot stone massages, as well as reflexology and a "barrel soak" body treatment. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. The treatments weren't the best i have ever had, but they are still up there. They pay attention to detail, which is very nice. During my barrel soak they provided me with chilled sparkling water, grapes, and iced towels to cool myself off if I got too hot. The relaxation area is big and they provide free snacks and wine. They don't rush you out which to me is very important. In fact I ordered in lunch on my first visit and dinner on my second. The locker room is nice, but very small. Check out their website for good discounts.

This place is great for girls day out or couples spa getaway. The free wine makes all the difference. The louge is big enough, although it could be a big crowded we weekend (and esp when people linger). I have to agree that massage is better than facial services, but both are still better than some of the other ones I've been (Oasis, Haven, Metamophisis, Reddoor). The shower area is pretty big, although the changing area can be cramped if you've 3+ people in it. It's easy to make appointment. The only downside will be its downtown location, quite a way for me to come from uptown. Highly recommended.

I went there for a massage & facial. The massage with Michelle was awesome however I had a facial with a guy that was horrible. All he did was put some mask on my face, and a tissue to clearn my pores !!!! such a waste of $$$$$ do not go there for facial . The locker room is small and has only 1 shower !!!!!

Well, I have been to... hmmm.... hundreds of spas, many all over the world, (Buenes Aries, Paris, London, Dublin, Thailand, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bejing, Hawaii, Scottsdale, Sanda Monica, Santa Barbara, Taos, Dallas, Miami, Key West, Destin, Virginia Beach, Santiago, Vail, Boston, Carriibean, etc. etc. ), and this is one of the best customer experiences I ever had in a spa. I like the fact that it is small and the staff makes you feel so welcome. I love the shower in the changing room, and the relaxation is like I would invest in a relaxation room at home. I concur witrh the other reviewers that the wine and nuts can't be beat. Delluva exudes quality!

the spa is nice. big, relaxing atmosphere, dark colors. i was warmly greeted by a receptionist and was asked to fill out a quistionere. afterwords we went to the locker room and i was given nice fluffy roab and slippers. locker room is small but has the essentials including shower. then i was led to relaxation room which is very nice, big and has magazines, tea, wine, water, nuts, biscotti, etc very nice selection. i was able to relax while waiting for my massage. unfortunately the massage was not good and the therapist was not skillful. room was too light, i was asked to dim the lights but therapist did not accomodate that. i asked for more pressure but that was not done either. i was disappointed with the service. spa is great and atmosphere is wonderful but because of the not relaxing massage I will not be back.

It's hard to say what the best part of the spa is. The staff are extremely friendly and not pretentious, which is a problem with other spas in NYC... but not here. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door into the thematic, wine-inspired reception area. The theme carries throughout the spa, as the treatment rooms are named after wine regions (Rioja, Sonoma, etc.). After changing into my robe and slippers (they were waiting for me in the locker room), I spent some time in the relaxation room. 2 kinds of water, 2 kinds of wine, champagne, dried fruit, nuts, juice, tea, coffee, etc? plenty to choose from. Dimly lit and very relaxing, my masseuse came in to get me. The massage was FANTASTIC. The room was quiet, the temperature was perfect and the masseuse paid attention to what I requested (I don't like leg massages, except for calves and feet, and he was completely accommodating). After my massage, I spent some more time in the relaxation room. At no point did I feel rushed to leave, and I spent a good amount of time there. I used the shower (3 different jet types to choose from ? mid-height, the usual, 3 side jets). The products provided smell great and my hair and skin felt/looked great afterwards. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I highly recommend the spa.

So there are like a million spas in Tribeca and Manhattan. But this place is different. Not only are the prices competitive, but few spas offer the amazing customer service treatment and free food and drinks, to boot! The experience is really amazing - from the therapists to the ambiance, the treatments to the comfy chairs. All in all, this place is both fun and invigorating, but relaxing and refreshing at the same time.
A truly unique place that values their customers and not only treats them well but feeds them well. A great gem and a stand out amongst the sea of overpriced, overrated spas in the city and neighborhood.

It takes a lot to make a place in the middle of the city seem like you are somewhere else, but Delluva does this so well. The rich and relaxing colors, attention to detail, first-class service, and peaceful environment will keep me coming back.

Additionally, the product line Delluva uses truly has changed my appearance from dull to glowing. There is something to be said for using nature's wine to feed and nourish your skin. Delluva is onto something, and I hope you all can share in the same experience!

Major kudos!

At first glance i thought it was a hip shop for gifts, but i found out it's a Vinotherapy day spa and the front desk was kind enough to give me a tour of the area. What a great hide away from the busy and noisy place of NY. After the tour, i decided to have a quick 30min massage and thanks to my therapist Angela, she did wonders for my back and shoulder pain. I will definitely come back again with my friends and family. I almost forgot to mention the best part of the place is the beautiful relaxation room with free wine and snacks. This place is a must see and go for a treatment.

My girlfriend bought me a gift certificate for this place for Valentine's Day, and I was a little leery about actually redeeming it. Well, I am certianly glad that I did as I had one of the best couple of hours that I can remember. I was a little nervous walking in, but the girl at the front desk immediately allayed any fears. I filled out a brief survey about myself and was lead into a very nice locker room. It reminded me of the Equinox gym locker rooms, very clean, big lockers, and a great shower. Inside of the locker, there is a sheet with basic spa ettiqutte which answered some of my concerns (i.e.. Do I go bare for my massage or what!!). I was a few minutes early so they brought me into this great relaxation area with comfortable chairs, snacks, and WINE! I had a glass before my massage and it really helped me relax. I then went into a cork-floored room where this woman gave me an awesome massage for 60 minutes. If you come, make sure you ask for Julia.. she is Amazing! From there, I was given a 45 minute "Foot Grooming", which I hate to admit, but I REALLY enjoyed. It made me feel better that I was getting "groomed" rather than a pedicure, but who are we kidding. Anyway, they did a great job and my girlfriend seems to like it as well! While getting my "foot grooming", the attendant made sure I had wine and snacks and really made my feel like a king. Afterwards, I hung out for a little longer in the relaxing room and ordered in a sandwich which was included in my package. From there, I was given a facial (don't laugh guys!) and a great head/neck massage. I had never had a facial before, but I will probably become a regular as I thought I looked great afterwards! I finished up with a great shower in the locker room and checked out. These people have thought of everything as my tip was included in the package already. I ended up buying my girlfriend the same package for her birthday as well as a couples massage with champagne and lunch. I can't wait to go back!
