My two children needed a lot of dental work and were very frightened of dentists. I am so grateful that we found Ruby Gelman. Her caring and genuine approach is always flexible to the needs of each child. They always know that they can trust her and that she will do the best things for them. The "fun" movie goggles, toys and light up toothbrushes are a plus, but we always come back for the competence and caring of this wonderful professional.
I would recommend her to anyone with children! (and I get rave reviews every time that I do)

My son, now 12, has been seeing Dr. Gelman for several years now, and my only regret is that at some point in time he will have to switch to an adult dentist. Dr. Gelman is not only skilled and professional. She is also especially patient, gentle and kind with children. You can happily trust the care of your family's teeth to Dr. Gelman.

I was really alarmed that my son needed dental work before the age of 3, but I'm so glad we found Dr. Gelman. Her calm ,soothing manner calmed this anxious mom. She joked with my son, gave him a glowing toothbrush timer and he did not freak out despite his serious white coat fear. She is also very knowledgeable.
Her office staff is really friendly, and she squeezed me in quickly even though I was a new client.
I wish she could be my dentist, but she only sees kids!
Pros: child loves going!
Cons: doesn't take insurance
