I love this place! It's my absolute favorite place for Indian food. I love the blend of spices, the food is well prepared, and the menu is extensive. The restaurant is clean, warm, and inviting and the staff is attentive.

"The food is Superb at Tamba. The Lamb and Goat was awesome tonight. I have to admit the service could be faster but well worth the wait for sure. The server was very nice and your water glass never got below half empty. The amount of food

The food was pretty good - in fact I'd give it 4 stars (and i'm indian and have high standards for indian food.) So why the 1 star rating?

My husband ordered wine and got his drink about 5 minutes after he ordered it. I ordered a mango

I work near Tamba and I frequently go for their awesome buffet lunch with several coworkers. I've also taken my family. The ambiance is comfy and the service is warm and friendly. The food is excellent! I also adore their dessert

Went there over the weekend , found it to be a great place. Liked the decor, keeping
in touch with Indian heritage and its name . Most of the Indian restaurants I go just feels
like commercial food joints , Its good to have a nice elegant environment while having
Indian meal . Food was excellent , chicken dishes were real tasty . found the price reasonable, on top of
It got the complementary dessert , nothing like it . I would recommend the place.

i came into tamba one day after work and the place was CROWDED! pretty suprising for a very new restaurant, one that ive been coming to since it opened. The hostess greeted me and gave me my seat. K nowing what I wanted to try this time I ordered a mango sangria and the tamba murg delight...OUTSTANDING! the succulent pieces of chicken with spinach and almonds inside was truly a delight and it went really well with the onion kulcha and my sangria, fir dessert i was given a complementary gulab jamun and it was good but a little to sweet for me...keep up the good work tamba~!

My dining experience at Tamba was one of the most interesting I have ever had. We came in around their happy hour, which is only til 6 pm. They offered 2 for 1 drinks. I got a glass of chardonnay in which they actually gave me a little LESS than half a glass. So, essentially the "Happy Hour" was a "Pay More For Less Hour".

When we ordered our entrees they asked if we wanted rice. We were like, "Of course we want rice". Like who eats Indian w/o rice? When the food came to us there was a small bowl of rice and a bigger bowl of rice on our table. Turns out, rice is not included with your $15+ entrees. The small rice is actually $5 more. AND the additional rice that we did not order was $9. FOR RICE!! Definitely not worth the $$ for something you can get anywhere else in the neighborhood for less than half that price.

It'd be one thing if this restaurant was an elegant place Midtown, but it's a little hole in the wall in Little India. This place is definitely misleading and a down right RIP OFF. I wouldn't mind paying those prices if I felt I made the choice to do so and not like I was manipulated out of money.

I took my a family members visiting from out of town here. Upon entering, we were all impressed with the decor - welcoming and not overdone. More importantly we were all just amazed with the food. The vindaloo, saag paneer(spelling?) and chicken tikki masalla were terrific!! The desserts was really good as well. When you look at the menu, the prices seemed reasonable; we all shared a couple of different dishes and everything was tasty. Can't wait to go back...btw, you must try the mango matrinis. Enjoy.
