Went there with a few girls, got in for free and it was a good thing. WAY too crowded! Left after 30 min. Took forever to get a drink. Went here b/c we heard it was a good spot for dancing - but no one was because there were too many people just standing on the dance floor! Don't bother dressing up here - it's so dark no one will see you anyway. We did go on a Sat. night, might be better during the week, but I would avoid it on the weekends.

My group of 10 went here to celebrate a Saturday night away and the whole event went as perfectly as possible. The door staff had our entire guestlist ready upon arrival, the hostess had our tables reserved, and our waitress handled our group with top notch service and attention. We were able to get additional people into the bar with minimal hassle at the door, even though our extra friends weren't on the guestlist. The spot was bumping, the music was tight, and the crowd was attractive. We were mostly dudes, but we dressed appropriately and had our act together. That always helps. A+!

I have been a patron of the NYC bar scene for over 8 years, and I beg of you to skip out on Table 50. Lame, lame and lame. Bartender = moron/rude. Music = too loud (couldn't hear ANYTHING that ANYONE was saying)/lame. Prices = too expeinsive (+ $30 card minimum). Crowd = trashy at best; fugly at worst; no room to move/dance.
Summary: If you want to overpay for drinks while watching portly women from Connecticut gyrate on a pole to a mediocre DJ, TABLE 50 IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!

I had my birthday party at Table 50 and it was a really great time. The only minuses were: The reservations lady told me I only had to buy one overpriced bottle, but when I go there, she told me there was a 2 bottle minimum for the table I wanted. Also, it got extremely crowded because they overbooked the place. Aside from those two fallbacks, I did manage to have an awesome time there. Good music, Great atmosphere, and everyone on my list had no problem getting in. I would recommend Table 50, just be ready to spend at least $500 to throw something. Also know that all your friends will still have to pay a small cover. The DJ is usually pretty solid, the dancefloor is cool, and my friend said the drinks were affordable.

Was totally blown away by how amazing the whole experience was - the Thursday party was off the hook, with people genuinely there to have a fantastic time gettin' down to the amazing music. No showy scenesters here who stand and pose all night (yet)...people here want to dance, so much so they have to limit who gets into the small space (hence it's hard to get into). Drinks are also well-made and good value for money, and the staff is super friendly. All in all, just an incredible time - can't wait to be back!

I had my bday party at Table 50 a few weeks ago and it was the best experience i've had in New york city. Everyone from the door to the cocktail staff was great. They allowed all of my friends in and gave us this amazing area in the large vault. The music rocked and the drinks were amazing.
I will definitely go back to Table 50 because of their great attitude!!!

Their Thursday night party is thrown by Marc Ronson and Q-Tip and is literally one of the best nights I've been to in my 3 years living in Manhattan. I came there one of the first nights they threw it, got on the list, and now receive personal invites on a weekly basis. The drinks are cheaper than most sceney lounges and the group is diverse and parties really hard. If the door people seem tough, it's because the lounge is so tiny and unlike a lot of places they don't overcrowd it so the people inside have a bad time. One of my favorite spots- specially for those who come out for the music primarily!

Three of my friends had planned their birthday party there and we had a group of about 50 people. The door lady was totally unwelcoming. She wouldn't let us in even though some of our crew was already inside. My friend who was celebrating her birthday was already inside had to come up and negotiate for like twenty mins. with the rude door woman to get us in. Turns out part of the negotiations entailed us buying bottle service. A regular $30 bottle of Absolute cost us $250. What a rip!

Table 50 is by far one of the most UNwelcoming, and fake bars EVER!

Don't know how this place got such a high rating, musta been rated by all of out-of-towners that showed up here. Music is HORRIBLE, you feel like you're in someone's basement, the crowd sucks! middled aged people, mixed with Mid-Westerners in shorts, and your occasionally frat boy crowd.

Table 50 exudes a vibe of utter cool, yet lacks the pretention and attitude of other places in the city, (ie: the block of misery from 10th Ave, 27th -29th Sts.) The cavernous stone arches. The cocktails of fresh ingredients, the dance floor, the hip hop DJs (Thursdays are the best!) Also, the HOT HOT HOT bartenders, serving it up with style. This place is for the young and beautiful... get there before the B & Ts hear about it.

Best middle of the week spot in the city right now!

This place has got it going. I like the cavernous feel to the space, the hot bartenders, and the overall aura to this place. Definitely worth hitting up before word spreads and everyone and their mother starts showing up. Very hot scene in the mean time!
