This will be my only dentist in the city that I go to. They take a majority of insurances, appointments were kept on time. NICE JOB

Wow, I am not going anywhere else from now on. I thought I was being pranked when they told me to take off my shoes so the Massage therapist could work on my feet during my cleaning. What a great surprise, it really was a wonderful distraction from all the noises that usually freak me out. When the hygienist, who was very sweet, told me she was done, I have to admit I wasn't ready to leave, LOL! I MAY have to get a root canal but as long as I can have my feet massaged, I will not be scared. The dentist was super nice and laid back and extremely professional. The entire staff was pleasant, which is not always the case in doctor's offices. The bright orange walls kept my spirits high as well. Oh and also, when you walk in you feel like you are in a dessert bakery. I don't know what kind of air fresheners they had, but it smelled like yummy cake. I highly recommend Park South Dentistry. Thumbs up guys!

This is the only dentist in New York that I go to. The place is so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor! I go every six months for a check up and don't actually dread doing so.

The best cleaning I have ever had! Not just because the irl doing it was gentle and thorogh, but because the staff won me over. They are very pleasnat and the hygienist is extremely informative and detail oriented. A must go if you havent had a cleaning in a year like me

One day my co-worker came back to the office after her dental visit and was beaming. This was the same girl who was practically pulling her hair out her appt that very same day because she was so petrified! When she told me she had her feet massaged during her visit I figured she was lying and maybe the novacaine had numbed her brain, but she swore it! I booked my appt so quickly since I was due for a cleaning.Unfortunately the massage lady wasn't there when I went :( The cleaning was good and after, I met the dentist Dr Janash, who is the nicest dentist I have ever had! He was in scrubs and jeans and so down to earth.The woman at front desk, Cindy (who was the biggest sweetheart!), told me I can get the massage on Thur or Sat only.Both of those days are bad for me but I happened to be in town on a Saturday so I came then for my fillings and was both thrilled and soothed to get my foot massage from Daynah! It was amazing, what a wonderful idea! And she put some Lavender oil on me to calm me down because I was so nervous...ahhhh-heavenly!!! I have more fillings to be taken care of and for the first time I'm actually looking forward to going back to the dentist! He didn't make me feel pressured to get a million things done in addition to necessary fillings,which is a huge plus. I agree w/ person below, the office smelled amazing!Not the typical medical office aroma.Kudos to doc and his awesome staff.I took some cards to give out.Thanks Dr Janash!

I hate the smell of dental offices. this place smells like vanilla and oranges! Not really spa like but really simple and. I missed the massage because the girl wasn't there that day (oh well) but I had a nice gentle cleaning and a quick exam from the dentist. Highly recommended! Simtra made sure my visit was covered at 100%... very high tech with online insurance claims and digital xrays.. .going for my massage in 6 months again

Had to check out this office after reading the reviews, heres my review:

Nice office, open concept, didn't get a chance to meet the massage therapist because she's there on Thursday and Saturdays, i was there on a Friday ;(
Oh well. NO wait at all, which i hate to do at doctors offices. They dont really "accept" insurance but do work with it and my cleaning was covered in total. Filling had a copy of 60 bucks. not bad. alot better than my other dentist! dentist dressed like no other doctor I have ever seen,jeans and sneakers just like the pictures?!
, very relaxed and from the way he treated his other existing patients, it seems he's well liked. it's a different experience from your childhood dentist, they play reggae , smooth hip hop and mix it up with luther vandross and john mayer and the staff is chill and relaxed. the hygienist is VERY thorough. Dentist was gentle and his chair gave me a massage! Im in the system now and Ill be called up and reminded to go back in 6 months. Ill try to get the massage then

I went here for the first time on weekend and was nervous because I haven't been to a dentist in a while.When the hygienist asked me if I wanted to have a therapist come in to massage my feet I thought she was kiddingbut she wasn't. Wow,never before has a dental visit been so RELAXING. Yes! I said relaxing.Dr Janash was so nice too, and easy on the eyes ladies.I am happy to have a place I can recommend when people have teeth issues

I am not one to rave about a usually dreadful visit to the dentist but this was an unusual experience. Entire staff is very friendly and just at the moment when you are clenching everything that you can clench to brace for the worst a sweet massage therapist offered me a heavenly foot rub that just transported me to my favorite spa. Thanks for the gentle treatment doc!

Cons: You have to wait at least another 6 months to have an excuse to go again.

I kid you not, my headline says it all. My parents used to bribe me to get me to go to the dentist! Now I'll be calling Dr JAnash to remind him that I need to make an appt! LOL!He used to be in another office downstairs, but this one is a million times better. It's unique and cozy. Dr Janash's staff is always the best. His receptionist Simmy is pleasant on phone and in person.The hygienst Tammy is so nice and knowledgeable, she tells me things about my teeth while cleaning them that I never knew! And the best part of my visit is that Dr J now has a masseuse (Denna) who massaged my feet during my cleaning! Afterwards my teeth were shing and my feet were relaxed.Dr Janash is always so friendly and great to talk to. I never feel like just another patient with him, he takes his time and asks questions. Between Tammy, Denna, and Dr J, they all had me laughing so hard. I emailed all of my friends and told them to switch dentists. I never have to wait when I go here and the best thing is I come right out of the N train and the office is right there! Super convenient on the rainy day I was here, minimal time walking in Rain!LOL!Dr J and his staff get an A+!

Pros: Convenient location! foot rub! accept my insurance, spectacular staff! unique office, good music reminded me of when i was young, ABSOLUTELY NO WAIT!!!!

ive been to Dr. Janash's office for a couple of visits and I just had a filling one for the first time in years. He was very gentle and made sure everything went smoothly for me. I highly recommend him and make sure you get the foot massages during your visits, Sinta his front desk girls is very nice too. Thanks guys! LK

SO I go to get my teeth cleaned at this place after reading all these great reviews and figure what the heck. In the waiting room I meet some girl who asks me if I would like to have a foot massage after I fill out my paper work. The office is nice and clean and all new, the people are cool and everything is nice and dandy nothing special at first but I remember bracing myslelf for pain during the whole time and there absolutely none at all! Plus I got a foot massage /reflexology during my visit! wow, definately a pimp move by the dentist to offer it. No wait as promised and the xrays and tv was all cool. Def reccoed for all my friends and citysearchers..get the foot massage!!!!! Lauren Ward

I HAD to write a review on Park South Dentistry simply because of Dr. Janash. I tracked him down and followed him all the way from his previous office downtown. The reason I recommend him is because, having had no work done on my mouth or a single cavity in my life, I was told by another dentist that I had one and would have to get work done. I was devastated! So I found Dr. J and went to him for a second opinion. He told me it was so slight that I should wait and come back in six months as he doesn't like his patients to have work done unnecessarily!!! How amazing is that? An actual honest opinion which saved me money and won his practice a loyal patient! I am so grateful to him and I will never go to anyone else. I went for my next visit and I am now cavity free and happy to have found an honest, friendly dentist who truly cares about his patients. This is what true professionalism and virtue is about.

Dr. Janash is spot on. dude knows teeth and has great people skills. his office is super hi-tech which makes teeth exams/cleaning much cooler than they should be. using a laser beam thing he identified a cavity that was just forming, therefor, limiting the amount of drilling required. so much so, that novocaine wasn't even needed! his staff is really friendly and are always smiling. must mean they like working for/with janash as much as i like him working for/on me.

Great dentist, nice staff, Tami my hygienist is awesome, I only got a chance to meet with dr Janash for about 5 monites but tami said i have a fillings but these city search reviews made me Belize he has the skills to pay bills.. Office is really homey and clean and cute. Great location. I highly recco park south. I made an appointment in 6 months for my next cleaning

I loved my cleaning visit with Tami, she's very bubbly and informative. Best cleaning I had in years!!!! Dr Janice came in and looked at my xrays and her notes and confirm what was hapening so you know she is very good at seeing problems. I have a cavity! bummer! but still. Dr Janice seemed like a really nice guy and I made an appointment with the greatest of ease online as soon as I got back to the office. The office is CLEAN and hihgh tech with tv and cameras and great personell. My insurance paid for it all, I loved everything about my visit, thanks guys. Fred

My husband and I just had cleaning done and I decided to have my teeth whitened. Only $150 for new patients! the doctor was very nice and explained everything. BRING AN IPOD!! I was very bored. The results were great, just wanted a little touch up for the summer months. Best price in town! Thumbs up. J

I had my teeth cleaned by Clara on Saturday, great hygienist, gentle and thoro! She explained everyhting to me and was very pleasent. Can wait to go back for my 6 moth check up. Dr J popped in and examined me as well. Very well run office, on time and i loved the online appt booking. I recomend them to everyone on ccitysearch and to my friends and coworkers. I went in to Park South Dentistry and was helped by Raquel and Dr. Janash. I have to tell you at this place they are very welcoming- there is none of that fluffy NY attitude (for those of us that are not from here). They were awesome. I went in for a regular cleaning and to get a consultation on Invisiline for some minor alignment issues and to find out about whitening products. The cleaning was easy and painless- Dr. Janash explained what was going on and I felt really comfortable. When I asked about the whitening he said to me "on a scale of one to ten your teeth are at an 8.5 in terms of whiteness" he was honest about me not "needing" to waste my money on a treatment in which I would see minimal differences. In terms of the Invisiline he mentioned that my healthcare should be able to cover some of it if I chose to do that. I got an email from him explaining the benefits. What a great way to get communication from your doctor!! Great to see they are embracing technology, and communicating with their patients when they say they will. Loved them, and I'm sure you will too.

I had a very pleasant experience at Doc. J's. The staff was freindly and professional! Evidently, their clientel ranges from top talent to "regular Joes" like me. I was made to feel as though I was thier best client! They are willing and flexible with the money! They are obviously in practice to help people- and it's appreciated! By the way, I'm a 200-pound baby when it comes to the dentist's chair! Doc. J made a usually painful and unpleasant extraction- well- not so painful or unpleasant! Thanks guys!

I always feel like dentists rip me off, im writing this to let you know that i actually didnt have anything done at the office but am going to change over to park south dentistry from now on. I went in for a whitening and the doctoe told me my teeth were too white! i think any other person would have taken my money and i would have had no or little results but he reccomended we not even try! I really appreciate his honesty and im going back to him form now on. if he says I have a cavity, id believe him. racquel was very nice and explained all of my insurance info ver clealry and i can get to his office very easily. finally a dentist that isnt ripping me off

I had my venners done by Dr. Janash, what a great guy and a fantastic dentist. His usuall fees were discounted for me and now I have a smile I love now. Hes not worried about making money off you, just wants to give you what you want. and need. I used to think that all central park south offices were expesive but he was THOUSANDS cheaper. One guy told me he wanted to do gum surgery and 10 venners almost $20,000. Dr J's usuall fees were much less and i decided to just have 6 done, for almost a third of that! Very informal setting, great hours (saturdays, HELLO!!) and he actually listens and has valuable opinions and advice. Very surprised to see such a young doctor with so much skill and experience. I recommend him 100%.

I thought there would be a catch to the "whole free tooth whitening" thing but it worked out OK...The doctor is out of network with my insurance but I was reimbursed by them within a couple of days and the bleaching trays have done the trick in no time! The office doesnt smell like a dental office at all...location was great and I was seen with no wait time at all! Big plus for me, I hate to wait and hear other people's bizz. The whole out of network thing was a little surprising but my dental insurance is the worst anyways. I am going back for my cleaning in 6 months, no cavities, yes! And, the doc is a really cool guy, special thanks go to his receptionist Racquel who helped me out a bunch..best dentist ive ever known

I just saw a really cool animation of my teeth moving with my invisalign treament.. the doctor looks young but he's really cool, he's kinda like the bumble and bumble of dentistry!? Reasonably priced, great location, clean office. My insurance is helping me out with paying also! Id recommend him highly to anyone. You wont be dissapointed. Thanks Dr. J, Rose A

I am probaby the most phobic and pickiest person when it comes to picking a dentist. I read the offices reviews on citysearch and ive seen a lot of overlap and cookie-cutter review. im telling you people these dentists are just self promoting. This was the only office that had genuine-sounding reviews so i went and wasnt dissapointed. I forget the doctors name but he's a nice guy. Id definately recco to anyone and would go back. Office is clean, staff are nice and the prices are reasonable for a central park south location. I had a cleaning and a whitening for only $300! insurance took care of the rest...im starting invisalign with him soon for some small gaps i have. also very cheap.... make sure you mention his web special.. to bad he's competing with offices with fake reviews..he should on top...

Dr. Janash has been my dentist for a few years. I have been following him through his career and he is very professional, caring and honest. He is gentle and patient, you will never feel hurried in his hands. He came recommended to me by a family member who is also a dentist but does not practice in NYC. He turned out to be even better than I thought and I strangely started to enjoy going for my check-ups. PS He is cute too :-)

I was interested in having a tooth whitening done, I figured this office had the right price so i called to schedule and appoinntment. After measuring my tooth shade, Dr. Janash told me i was too white and my improvement would be limited and the risk probably wasnt worth the $400!! I looked everywhere else and i knew this office had it for cheap so i was surprised to hear that he actually warned against me having it done. Even though he didnt treat me, i decided to write this review becasue I wanted to support him and let everyone know he is an honest guy and is fairly priced. Ive had friends have the procedure done for as much as 800 bucks and they didnt change much in my opinion. The doctor wasnt worried about my money but the results which i think should be noteworthy. Wow a dentist i can trust who isnt gonna take me for a ride. Id go to him from now on for my regular care because of this experience. Save yourslef the money and see him for a consult first! My two front teeth were on the long side and Dr. Janash suggested that I cosmetically re-shape them. I was hestitant but gave it some thought and decided to do it. I have gotten many compliments ever since and am very happy with the results. I recommend him to everyone!

Needed a good dentist and my friend referred me to David Janash. Never been a big fan of dentists or doctors, but i had some pain and wanted to get a cleaning and some advice. The office is a typical dentists office, but thats about where the generic dentistry ends. The Doc, he's extremely helpful and very interested in what you want, not what he wants to do to you. You can tell he loves his job and is a great doctor as his passion and enthusiasm comes through when he speaks. Long story short, the doc is great, easy going, easy to talk with, listens to patients and helps them in every way possible. Definately have a repeat patient here. Thanks Doc. Smile ;)

Definitely the best experience at a dental office.
Dr. Janash is always informative and discusses the range of options with me. Very happy with the work done. Despite of my phobia of Dentists, Dr. Janash made me comfortable throughout.
His easy-going nature made the entire visit pleasant.

I would highly recommend visiting Park South Dentistry.

Ok, so I was reffered to PS Dentistry by a friend who has been treated by Dr. J in the past when he was an associate at Dr. Kramers office...never would've expected what I got here folks! My dentist, just like she told me, is awesome! He wears funky jeans and scrubs! and seems like some one Id get along with outside the office. Very cool guy, and good at what he does.. very reasonably priced and not gonna yell at you for not flossing..give him a call you wont be dissapointed! Oh and btw, he's cute!
