Molly is the shining example of what is wrong with people today. Her editor thought a crib was poorly constructed? I'm sure while there the staff would have informed her if they felt there was a better product for the price. Knowing how she was, the typical consumer, quality was not as important as price until a friend recommended they not purchase it. I'd also call the editor's qualifications into question as to whether she has even assembled a crib let alone used the ones she reviews, if she even does as she is an editor, for months on end.

A long history by being sued? What evidence do you even have of such nonsense outside of anecdotal knowledge? How about you list out all of these people you know who had all these things happen instead of lie as if this store caused the problem. Ever hear of manufacturers sending the wrong items? Never had a package come broken from a shipping company? Never sent someone an email or fax only for them to claim they never received it or anything of the sort? You would think people would realize the same problems that exist for the average person occur elsewhere too.

"Accusing us of wasting their time." What else is it when you go and probably spent a few hours in someone elses store, which I'm sure you intentionally left out, gain the benefits of their knowledge, and then decide to not even make a purchase and probably were going to buy elsewhere? That's wasting everyone's time involved other than your own.

Thank goodness one of my editors warned me about Scheider's Juvenile Furniture before allowing my sister to make a crib purchase here. We went on the hunt for a crib and found one that was pretty reasonably priced which narrowed down the choices. Since my sister wanted to check out one more store before deciding, I had mentioned to one of my editors about the crib we found. She thought the crib was marginally constructed at best (she's the New Parent's editor for our magazine) but more importantly, Schneider's has a long history with being sued by people who purchase things from them that never get the shipment, get it 6 months late, things arrive wrong or just plain damaged. She advised us not to bother. After speaking to my sister, she completely agreed and I contacted the store to tell them not to hold the order. I couldn't believe the language that came out of the owner's mouth, accusing us of wasting their time and other atrocities! BUYER BEWARE!!! Thanks goodness for my editor!
