Puffy's Tavern remains one of Tribeca's favorite watering holes. The bar features a diverse beer and cocktail selection, showcasing some of the most potent Bloody Mary's in the city. Hungry? I love puffys. I had been there a couple times in the past just grabbing a drink after
dinner in the neighborhood(a bunch of great restaraunts in Tribeca). I went to a friend
of a friends birthday a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. We decided to check
it out saturday night and had a blast. They were playing alot of 80's music and everyone
was singing and dancing. The place had a great vibe. The bartenders seemed very fun
and friendly. As far as the drinks, I enjoyed mine and they gave us a round of shots that were
great. If you want to go out downtown and want a fun bar, I recommend Puffys. I also recommend
Bubbys down the street for brunch the next afternoon.
Pros: great vibe, everybody gets in no hassles
Cons: wish it was bigger
