I went there for a full physical. During my physical they noticed a spot in my chest x-ray. They said the x-ray had to be sent out for review which is understandable. Four days have past I didn't hear anything from them. I called on

Wish I read these reviews before going here!!! \r
Total incompetency!! Very rude I had to go back 2x in a week then when I called up to speak to someone the provider did not hear a word I said. I canceled my apt for being a new patient

Worst care, rudest staff and doctor's - and if you don't have health care insurance don't go here. You'll be left until there is no other human being left to be seen (they really should have 3 sign in sheets - appointments, walkins and no

As a drugstore/pharmacy manager (who hates going to the doctor) I was very happy with the service provided at this estabishment. I read some poor reviews that were posted about First Choice Medical but decided to give them a try anyway

First off, I still adore Dr. Goldman; he is caring, well informed, and always concerned about his patients. Unfortunately, his staff has consistently gotten worse over the years. I have been going to First Choice for almost 17 years, in

The place was once good back in the 1990's , after that I don't know what the hell they were thinking .
My husband had gone for treatment requiring medication that made him quite sick , after calling day after I was put off with office

I have been going to First Choice for a few years now, usually when I am not feeling well and for my check up every year. The staff there is very helpful, there are a few ladies at the front desk that should be kinder though. Although, there are a few ladies in particular that are very pleasant. Yes, it is aggravating to have to wait in the waiting room, sometimes for an hour or so, but that is the consequence to being seen at your own convenience. There are a few of the nurses that I like in paricualr, but there is one young one whom I do not care for at all, shes very short with you when you speak with her, even on the phone. I do not have a problem with any of the providers, they are very caring and knowledgable. I usually see one of the PAs when I am seen there and I consider them to be just as good as seeing one of the doctors! They listen to my concerns or questions and may prescribe something for it or discuss alternatives. I have no issues with this office, it is nice to be able to see my doctor when I am not feeling well, not to be penciled in next week when he has time for me!

Pros: no appt necessary, knowledgable staff, late hours

Cons: wait time is long at times, some of the staff is cold

This used to be a pretty good office, and they used to have a handful of really smart and caring docs and especially good PAs. But not any more. Recently, all the good people seem to have left and the people working there now really don't care about what you say, don't seem to know what they are doing, and to make matters worse are just plain rude, especially one of the doctors and one of the new PAs! They sure seem overworked and uncaring, and the office staff are especially unhappy.

Pros: They will see you....eventually.

Cons: The really smart doctors and PAs who were caring have all gone elsewhere.

The medical staff is very informative and helpful. The best part about going there is that I don't have to wait days to see a doctor. There is usually a wait to be seen, but I rather wait an hour and get treated today and get the medicine I need, than wait two of three days to see a doctor.

Cons: bring a book to read in the waiting room

Dr. Herman is the best Dr. around. He is a teaching doctor at the college I graduated from, NYIT. Every time I go there he diagnoses me on the spot and educates me, he doesn't just throw pills at the problem and push me out. Also, he gives me free samples of prescriptions whenever possible so I can save some money.

When I go in there I rest assured that I am going to see a doctor that day, and I don't have to wait for office hours to get the care I need to help make me feel better. Yeah, there is a line.. and its kinda crappy that you have to wait in line, but thats the way they do business. They are a Primary Care Physician who takes walk-in's - They are not a Clinic! Even though you have to wait, it's the closest thing to instant gratification as far as seeing doctors go. I have found the nurses at the front desk to be a little icy, but they deal with angry people who don't want to wait on lines day in and day out, I'd be a little cold to it too after a while.

Personally, I like going in and taking care of what I need, and getting out.. I do not want to wait till next Thursday between 12:30 and 2pm when my doctor has time for me.

This office is absolutely horrendous! Every time you go in, you're waiting for at least 2 hours, reading all the pharmaceutical advertisements on the walls and (I kid you not) the plaque on the wall of the Republican party thanking Dr. Goldman for his generous contributions. Sickening. It's obvious that these "professionals" care way more about soliciting free lunches from pharmaceutical reps than taking care of their patients. Then when you are finally seen, the nurse (since you NEVER actually see a doctor) couldn't care less and totally ignores your concerns, basically just shushing you. To get a referral for a minor skin problem, I had to go to First Choice TWICE, each time to get prescribed a treatment that did not work at all (just wasting $50 on needless prescriptions). Then on the third visit (that makes 6 hours of total waiting time to be seen, mind you), I was finally given the referral and could get the treatment I needed. I have to find a new PCP! This place STINKS!
