Foravi is located in the heart of SoHo. It's a gem in middle of a bustling city. There are some lovely one of a kind pieces at Foravi. The employees are very helpful and nice. I would recommend fashionistas to check this place out because

I have worked with the owner of the boutique Deborah/ Debra. I am a small brand and she took our merchandise and never paid us for it. Basically she is a thief. I urge people to go in there and take merchandise, as she also did not pay for

dirty, cheap looking tiny store with mismatched cloth all crammed on 3 shelves. sleazy security in a t shirt, incompetent salesperson in a flip flops and obnoxious owner try to sell u 'made in china" unknown designers cloth from 300 and up. when i walked into the store i saw a nice dress and took it from the rack. salesperson appeared quickly and told m that i should try it on. I said that dress is pretty but when i saw $500 on a price tag and "made in china" lable i prompty told her that its way above my budget. owner of the place overheard us and told me( this is his actual words) "U should at least try it on, u have an amazing body" I repeated" its too expensive for me" He" Oh,just try it FOR FUN". i went to closet like fitting room with no mirror and realized that dress was too big for me. I told to salesperson that its too big and she brought me two more dresses saying" these r beautiful, try it JUST FOR FUN" I tried but since im size 2 and they dont have anything below 4 nothing fit me. I was about to leave and owner says so " r u buying soemthing?" I said my max is 200 dollars so i didnt see any dess i liked for that price. he got angry and said" why then u tried all of those dresses? why did u try othat dress for 500 if u wanted to spend only 200? u shoudl have said that instead of wasting our time" i was shocked since i ddint ask for help and tol them from the beginning that dresses they offered me were too pricey. i said" but u told me to try them on just for fun?!" he said" what fun? we not having fun over here!" I will never go back and wont suggest anyone to buy something from that store. u could buy so many awesome cloth from well known designers and made from the best materials instead of buying overpriced sweatshop made crap .
P.S. plus the guy is obvious racist. Im white so didnt have a rpoblem but while checking jewelry i saw the owner ( he might be just a manager as well thou) making sings to the security when couple of nicely dressed black ppl walked into the store. salespeson and security ddnt leave them till those ppl left the store.

I dont know who wrote the positive review on this site, but Im guessing its someone from the store themselves. I want to second the other reviewers experience - when she tried to return her boots and felt herself and her friend were belittled by manager Richard. I tried to return a pair of leggings to this store because they had a run in them. I called before hand to see if I could return them, since I had not worn the clothing and it appeared to be faulty. The manager said OK, but when I came to the store he ripped the pair of leggings from my hands, proceeded to call me "a little b***h" and other nasty words and rant and rave that I probably just went around to stores trying to do this. I'm sorry, but I dont know why Id waste my time trying to get $60 back from dinky little boutiques all day . Not only did this man waste my time and sell me faulty merchandise, he treated a paying customer like garbage and acted like a lunatic. A word to the owner: If you want to stay in business get a better return policy and Richard some anger management classes. I called my credit card company and they went after him. I got my money back - was it really worth all that yelling, Richard?

I wandered into Foravi with out expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of taste and attention to detail in the merchandising. The buyers for this store definitely know what their doing, you can find hot looks from Custo Barcelona and Nicole miller as well as obscure European designers that you won't find anywhere else. Looks from NYC local knit and jewelry designers - shoes accessory's, you can tell its all hand picked by someone that understands fashion. The Foravi teeshirts are one of a kind - super hot for guys and girls. I was attended by a bald sales guy with an accent who summed up my style in 2 secs and had a knack for selecting merchandise that looked great and fit me perfectly. I'll definitely be back to this place... really great find!

I was searching the city for a well-made stylish pair of leather boots and was willing to fork over $200 (a lot of money) for it. When I wore the boots I bought from them the next day, the buckle detail came loose and flapped around and I had to snap it back on. On my left foot, the leather combined with the zipper pushed into my ankle for some reason which didn't happen on the right side and basically crippled me as I walked on the streets of NYC. I thought I should go back and let them know I had these problems but the lady who sold them to me didn't know what to do and told me to come back to talk to the manager and when I did, the manager got all flustered and dramatic and said he didn't know what to do. I asked them if I could try on another pair to see if they had the same problem but they refused and said even if I did try it on there was nothing they could do about my pair (meaning they were unwilling to return it). The manager said he could give me the owner's cell phone number, but I expect the manager to handle this problem so I left. I had brought a friend with me and my friend said that if he had been caucasian, they would have treated me differently. I felt really bad that my friend felt I was discriminated against because of him - no one should ever let a friend feel that way, especially in NYC!
