Lerche Adam D Md - Bardonia Pediatric Assoc

My children have been using this practice for over 10 years and I do also like the doctors in this practice, especially Dr. Lerche. However, the office staff is not very friendly and seem to have gotten worse. When you stand in front of the sign-in desk, they do not acknowledge you. If you stand there long enough, they seem annoyed and ask "What do you need?". This is unfortunate because the office staff is who you first talk to when you need to contact the office for any reason. Also lately, it seems like that they are charging a fee for everything. I needed a copy of my child's immunization record and was told that I need to pay $10 because they only give out 1 free copy after the annual wellcare visit. I also need to pay an additional copay (no examination by the doctor) just for my child to get a shot because I didn't want my child to get too many shots during 1 visit. That was not the case in the past. Because of all these recent negative events, I am seriously considering switching doctors.

Dr. Lerche has been my son's pediatrician since birth. My child was premature (due to my very bad pregnancy) & I hadn't yet decided on a physician at the time of his delivery. My friend worked at their office at the time & suggested them.

The staff & doctors were fantastic from day one. Whenever we came for sick visits, check ups, Dr. Lerche always "knew" who my son was, he wasnt just another patient or chart. He remembered all the previous problems or concerns I had regarding my son's health. I never had to remind him why we were there, etc....

We recently moved out of state & I am terribly sad that Dr. Lerche will no longer be his pediatrician. All 3 of the doctors in that practice are phenomenal. Anyone whom is a patient should rest asure that they are receiving fantastic healthcare.

We miss them terribly :(
