Where to start?

This place is a typical example of "trying too hard." The bartenders are somewhat pretty people with three brain cells between them. I was the only person waiting to buy a drink at the bar (everyone else was standing in front of me, chatting) and when I finally got a bartender's attention he told me if I wanted a drink I needed to come down to his end of the bar because he wasn't coming over. I would have, except that the place was packed and I couldn't get to him, plus I was in the middle of the bar, and there were two other bartenders staring off into space right in front of me. Instead of telling one of them that I needed a drink, he shrugged and started staring off into space too.

I heard from friends who went another night that they refuse to let in guys once they have too many inside already, regardless of whether they're with a group of girls.

The food is average, the drinks are WAY overpriced ($14 for a watered-down "special" cocktail in a highball glass, made by bartenders who have no idea how to pour liquids into a glass). This could be a nice place, but it's way too concerned with being popular -- which it won't be.
