This place is VERY unprofessional!!! I had been seeing the dietitian for a few months. While her information is good, and her plan works, she is very unorganized, claiming every visit that all the other staff walks in and takes stuff out

I had left this office once before because when I had gone in for a follow up visit, the dr. didn't seem to realize that my test results had confirmed my goiters had gotten bigger. When I mentioned it, because I noticed from my own research comparing my tests, he looked back into my records and then said "oh, yeah".
My recent complaint is as follows- I will try to explain as short as possible:
Went in for an annual, and also to review blood work. Dr. didn't say anything. One week later received a call from a nurse saying "We wanted to let you know we got your test results and your _____ level was low, so the dr is lowering your RX by 1/4." I said "I was just there in her office with the same blood work and she didn't say anything?" They said they would send me the new rx in the mail.
When I recieved it, she sent me TWO rx for the same medicine- one which doubled my dosage, the other which lowered it by more than a half. Here is where the frustration part comes in. I have been on the phone with their nurses back and forth for the last two weeks, and they still haven't been able to get my prescription right- nor do they seem to care that if I had filled it as originally given I would be VERY sick right now. I have even gone into the office for another appointment, thinking I would get the rx straightened out while I was there. The Dr. confirmed the dosage I should be taking and said they were going to submit it to the pharmacy. Thinking I finally had this taken care of, imagine my shock when I get my rx in the mail, and it was for the original INCORRECT dosage that was less than half of what I am taking now- not what the Dr. and I agreed upon in the office. Again, I was back on the phone with the nurses- and each time whatever I said wasn't communicated correctly. I was first called back and told "The Dr. said that it will take a while for your body to get used to the new dose" HELLO, the dose you have me on is incorrect!!!. I kept feeling like I was talking to a wall and playing a really bad game of "telephone".
I finally felt like I explained myself correctly after I had to educate the nurse on how my medication works, and made sure she understood that my dosage shouldn't be lowered by more than a half. She said she would talk to the Dr. again.
Last straw- I get a call this morning by one of the nurses saying "We spoke to the dr. and we are giving you ____ dosage". Which still, as you can guess, wasn't the original dosage we mentioned in the office. When I tried to question it, I was rudely cut off by the nurse saying "The Dr. has called around many pharmacies about this, and this is the best he can do." I guess the smart thing would have been to call my pharmacy, which I related to the nurse earlier, but I guess that made too much sense.
She had this tone in her voice like "we are so tired of dealing with you" when the only reason the situation was still going on was because they couldn't do basic math and figure out my correct dosage!
I quickly called the pharmacy and told them not to fill this SECOND incorrect rx. It is very frustrating to be treated like YOU are at fault and your time isn't as valuable as theirs. I thought I had found a good dr. in clermont, but now I am back to traveling to my old Dr. where at least I know I am in good hands.

Pros: quick wait times

Cons: given wrong rx twice, bad communication

Thank you Sherry! You diagnosed my bronchitis recently JUST IN TIME! I was SO SICK and you put me on 14 days of antibotics. I am so grateful! Keep up the good work! Sometimes, we DO NEED antibotics and some doctors just don't care.

Thanks again!

My family -- all members -- have been going to this clinic for about 10 years. Dr. Crowley has evolved into one of the best Functional Medicine/Integrative Medicine doctors in Central Florida if you ask me. If you devote yourself to her recommendations, you will be on a path of wellness, not reactive sick-care. (I've seen all the doctors there and find them all to be thoughtful, etc.) A key is being consistent with your well-care exams and not just showing up once every few years expecting drug quick-fixes, as so many do.

I want to address "Flymeboyz" notation on this site. SHE was seen in the office by me but did not agree with my diagnosis and treatment . She argued so much that I excused myself from the room and discussed it with Dr. Guzik who DID agreed my diagnosis and treatment plan. She was not happy because she did not receive an antibiotic for the diagnosis she had already formed prior to her coming to the office for her exam. So ...she sounded off on this site. Unfortunately some patients do not realize that by treating conditions that will not respond to antibiotics with antibiotics causes resistant germs to be formed, superbugs, that render standard antibiotics useless.
This is not our mother and fathers time when a shot of penicillin is given for anything that ails you. We must use antibiotics only when the condition warrents their use to preserve their efficacy in the future. Thank you.

Pros: Office Visit Reviewed by Dr. Guzik

Cons: Patient's Lack of Medical Knowlege

I have been seeing Dr. Guzik for 9 years now. Since they are getting bigger and bigger, I can never get to see him and they keep making me see his PA Carol. Run, hide, go elsewhere. I went to see her because I had a bad headache and my BP was 140/100, I was just there a few days earlier for the same and an earache. She told me that I shouldn't be coming in for every little earache that I have. She did not want to treat me until it became a yelling match and she ran to Dr. Guzik who told her to give me medication for the high BP. One of my neighbors also had a run in with her and found a new doc. This woman should not be allowed to pactice med.

After 6 months and 4 Doctors I was finally sent to someone who was interested in helping me get my health back. Dr. Crowley is great! I thought the staff was nice though there is always one crabapple in the bunch.

Pros: Great care

Cons: Old building

I am very in charge of my health and the doctors have never not done what I asked without a logical reason. For instance, the migraine medicine I used as a child and wanted to use again as an adult is no longer recommended for helping migraines and they gave me a better prescription. I have never had an issue getting an appointment, even last minute. They are VERY busy, but so are all the other doctors' offices I visit.

This is the worst medical office in Clermont. The office staff is reude and argumentative. They are concerned only with money. The doctors are overbooked and in a hurry. I would not go here unless I had a death wish.
